Chapter 55 Adventure
After the meal, in the candlelit corridor, people gathered in twos and threes, talking quietly.
In the corner, Lu Beiye curled up on his sister like a kitten, looking up at the night sky.

"You brat." He pressed down on his younger brother's head and ruffled it. "Why are you calling me 'big brother'?"
"Your sister is looking for you!" Lu Beiye tugged at his clothes and pulled him forward.
As soon as Lu Xici approached, Lu Nange stood on tiptoe and stuffed the power pill into her brother's mouth.
"Brother, eat!"
Lu Xici chewed it reflexively and slid it down his throat.
"What are you doing?" He Zhuo bounced over like a large dog.
Lu Nange waved the Maltesers in her hand: "Does Brother He Zhuo want some?"
"Thank you, little sister!" He Zhuo smiled so broadly that his eyes disappeared.
"I told you I'm not your little sister!" Lu Xici lightly slapped her.

The three cars came to a stop in a triangular formation, the sound of brakes startling the wandering zombies.
Before the first three zombies could even get close, Lu Nange's wind blades sliced off their heads.
The rotting head rolled on the ground, and blood splattered on the rusty railing.
He Zhuo's eyes shone with astonishing light: "A mere breeze, and the zombie was decapitated!"
He gestured exaggeratedly, "Little sister, your special ability is exactly what I need!"
"Shut up," Chi Yanzhou interrupted his incessant chatter.
Da Ge and Wei Hao led their team through the ruins and alleyways, each step taken with utmost care.
Turning the last alleyway, stacked containers stood crookedly like building blocks.
Da Ge suddenly raised his hand, and everyone instantly tensed up and held their breath.
The scene before my eyes was suffocating—
The entire storage yard extends out in a radial pattern with several channels.
Every passageway was crowded with writhing shadows.
A putrid stench mingled with the heat, wafting over and sticking to the skin.
