Chapter 318 The Dead Eagle Came Knocking

"I only brought a hundred doses of the Ability Awakening Potion. This was an advance from Sister Xin. You must not be short of the crystal cores you are entitled to. During your free time when you are not on missions, you need to collect enough crystal cores to make up for it."

As soon as Carl finished speaking, the ordinary people on the battle wings, who had no special abilities, eagerly responded.

"No problem! We'll give you as many crystal cores as you're entitled to!"

"That's right, boss, don't worry, we won't renege on our debts."

"If it can awaken our superpowers, let alone 10,000, we'll find as many as Sister Xin wants!"

Carl raised his hand, signaling everyone to be quiet. "These 100 sticks, see who comes first. The rest of you don't need to rush. Sister Xin won't mistreat anyone who follows her. Awakening is just a matter of time."

The Warwing Legion is also divided into many squads, each with a captain and members responsible for various duties, just like the squad Carl took to China. This is their usual standard setup for missions.

Although many teams lost a lot of people after the apocalypse, they have replenished and reorganized themselves during this period.

Carl said that he would leave the rest to them to arrange, and he only wanted the final list of 100 people.

That evening, the park where the Warwing Legion was temporarily stationed reeked of a terrible stench…

All the water-type ability users in the group were truly 'drained' to the last drop.

With an additional hundred superhumans, the team's overall combat strength has increased significantly.

In addition, Xin'er had Carl bring weapons and ammunition, and in the following days, wherever the Warwing Legion went, everyone couldn't help but curse them as a bunch of mad dogs!

After training the 100 newly awakened members for a few days, Carl and his group surrounded the Saiaka Society.

"Boss! That dead eagle and his men have come knocking on our door!"

Mondjev, the leader of the Seakas, was still roaming over the naked blonde woman's body when his flustered underlings interrupted his pleasure. He looked up in displeasure, a cold, sinister glint in his eyes.

"What did you say?"

The younger brother shrank back, frightened by that terrifying gaze.

"Boss, it's Carl from the Warwing Legion. He's surrounded us with his men."

Mondjef stood up, kicked away the woman who had been lying beside him, and laughed loudly.

"Haha, he actually dared to come here to die!"

“Let’s go meet that stinky rat that’s always hiding. After all this time, he’s finally decided to come out of the sewer.”

"I thought he would only come out if we killed all the people in his War Wings."

Mondjef was overjoyed, as if Carl had already died at his hands. Just as he was about to step outside, a tall, thin man named Chibman rushed in from outside.

"Boss! You can't go!"

Chibman was a strategist-like figure in the Saiaka Society, intelligent and shrewd, and notoriously ruthless.

He doesn't take action himself, but he comes up with evil ideas, and there are quite a few people who hate him to the core.

Mondjef frowned in displeasure. "Chibman, what do you mean by this?"

"Boss, they're all people with superpowers! There are at least two or three hundred of them, all... all people with superpowers!"

When Chibman said this, his voice rose in an excited tone.

Mondjef scoffed, "Are you kidding me?"

Hundreds of superhumans? If the eagle had that kind of power, would it have hidden away in China?

Those little bastards from Zhanyi, they'll still be chased around like rats by him?

You should know that although the Asaka Society has thousands of members, after deducting the useless women and the good-for-nothing slaves who do hard labor, there are only about four hundred people with combat capabilities.

Of these four hundred people, only a little over one hundred are superhumans. Even so, they are already considered a major force in this region.

Chibman shook his head. "You know my superpowers, I can't be wrong. I can sense it, everyone who came is a superpowered person."

Seeing his serious expression, Mondjev also became serious.

"Where did he find so many superhumans? Did he bring reinforcements from China?"

He immediately rejected the statement by shaking his head.

"It shouldn't be. People from China have never liked to participate in our wars, let alone now that it's the apocalypse."

They probably haven't even sorted things out on their own turf, so how could they have time to fly over to Country Y to meddle?

“Boss, those people look familiar. They seem to be from the Warwing Legion.”

Chibman wasn't entirely sure of what he said, since he had only seen the group of people in front of him.

As the two were still speculating, a huge, loud voice suddenly resounded throughout the sky.

"Are those trash from the Seakas Society scared? Why are they hiding?"

Startled, Mondjev and his companion instinctively drew their guns. After a moment, they exchanged a glance and exclaimed, "Who the hell is this?! Why is he so loud?!"

It was like several large speakers were yelling in their ears.

"Mondjev! You coward! Your Warwing's fathers are here, aren't you going to come out and greet them?!"

Outside the castle, the members of Warwing covered their ears and tried to stay as far away from Matthew, who was shouting.

Matthew's awakened superpower is physical enhancement—voice amplification.

Having learned about the knowledge of the Chinese nation, the vulture aptly described this superpower as the Lion's Roar.

“Matthew, keep yelling with all your might! Let’s see how long Mondjef can hide.”

Vulture found a pair of noise-canceling headphones somewhere and started shouting at Matthew from a great distance.

The boss has already made arrangements; all the psychic ability users in the group are keeping an eye on the people inside. They can't escape.
