34. Chapter 34 She is not a philanthropist

What's more, people like Sister Bai Ling? Maybe there are still some, but they are definitely rare!

But Bai Xiaoxi couldn't possibly destroy the hope of this group of people. He looked up at Bai Ling who was pursing her lips. He guessed that she was thinking the same thing!

Bai Ling also glanced at Bai Xiaoxi at the right time, and knew in her heart that this child was indeed very sensible and would definitely have less trouble in the future!

"Since you are not here to save us, then what are you doing here?" The young man seemed to finally react, with a wary look in his eyes.

"Nothing, just buying something!" Bai Ling took out the card in her hand. Now they are still the peace-loving people they were before, and Bai Ling would not kill people at will.

Zombies just appeared last night. How could anyone know that this money will become waste in the future and be of no use at all?

Hearing this, the young man was stunned and asked reflexively, "What do you want?"

If so, he can still provide it.

The others returned to where they had rested before. Some stared at them, some closed their eyes, and some had a hint of disdain in their eyes. It was obvious that they were still angry that Bai Ling, who was so skilled, did not save them.

Bai Ling ignored these looks. In fact, their humanity had already erupted, right? They felt that under the current circumstances, those who were capable had the responsibility to save them. If they didn't save them, they would be resented by them.

Haha, what a ridiculous idea. She was not a philanthropist, much less a savior. Saving them would be a huge burden. How could she handle it alone? She didn't want to be a short-lived ghost.

"Gasoline, food, some daily necessities, and...clothes!" Bai Ling said as she picked up the shopping cart beside her. "Bai Xiaoxi, go get some of those small white oil drums and fill them with gasoline!" Bai Ling seemed to have thought of something. She looked at her dirty clothes and the stains on her hair and frowned. "Since you have accommodations for your employees here, do you have a place to shower?"

After something like this happened, wasn't this woman a bit too casual? There were monsters with mutilated limbs and short legs outside, constantly slapping and biting at the store entrance!

"I'll double the money!" Seeing that he didn't respond, Bai Ling continued.

"There's a place to shower. I'll take you there later!" Unable to resist the temptation of money, the young man smiled and said to the young Bai Xiaoxi behind him, "Little brother, I don't dare go outside. There are barrels of gasoline inside. Let's go there!"

Bai Xiaoxi glanced at Bai Ling who was already walking towards the shopping area, nodded to the young man, and followed him.

Instant noodles take up too much space and require boiling water, but the energy they provide is not much. Bai Ling's focus is mainly on canned beef products, high-energy chocolate and sugar snacks, and of course things like small cakes.

Water is a necessity and absolutely cannot be lacking.

Because most of the water outside, especially the water in rivers, is polluted.

Bai Ling had said before that the virus is spread through the bites and blood of zombies, so what if a zombie falls into the water?

This was the case in the previous life. Many people mistakenly drank the contaminated water and turned directly into zombies. The better ones did not turn into zombies but turned into creatures that were neither human nor ghost!
