Chapter 6 The Surprise Attack
The team members mostly disagreed with bringing Lu Zhi along on the mission because Lu Zhi's health was too poor, and they were really afraid that he would die on the way.
Moreover, it's hard to justify putting a patient who could die at any moment through such a small amount of treatment.
Although the passenger thought the same thing, the promise had already been made.
Lu Zhi, standing to the side, chuckled wickedly, put his arm around the shoulder of the attendant, and said while coughing, "Don't worry, I'm not that easy to die."

The special operations team was waiting for them outside the city. They were all acquaintances who had accompanied them and had done missions together before.
Team leader Xu Feng possesses fire-type abilities and has four teammates, all of whom are quite strong. The team is well-known within the base.

Xu Feng echoed, "That's probably it. It seems they know about what happened in Furong City too."
When the apocalypse struck, many bases sprang up, but only three have survived. The Huaxia Base, where they are located, is the strongest, being officially established. The other two, Base One and the Azure Dragon Base, were formed by two groups of powerful superhumans. Compared to the Huaxia Base, these two bases lack clear rules, are more free, and more chaotic.
The leader of Base One is Guan Qi, who possesses wind-type abilities. He was joined by Leng Tianrui, a dual-type ability user with both metal and fire elements, who is known as the strongest king of ability users.
The leader of the Azure Dragon Base is Bai Xuefeng, a psychic ability user. His sister, Bai Su, is a fire-attribute ability user and the captain of the Vermilion Bird Squad, known as the number one fire-attribute user.
These two are just as famous as Sui Cheng, but because they appeared earlier than Sui Cheng, they were naturally ranked ahead of him, which is why Sui Cheng is known as the third strongest superhuman.
However, the passenger didn't care about any rankings at all. He was a man who lived a life without desires, and was content as long as he could protect his family and friends.
When they reached the main road leading into Furong City, the other vehicles were already not far behind them.

Without him saying anything, Xu Feng and his entourage had already noticed that the group's approach was not right.
Sui Cheng clenched his fist, his knuckles cracking, and said coldly, "Make your move."
After giving the order, he glanced at Lu Zhi, who was leaning comfortably against the window, seemingly without any worry or fear. He even smiled at him after noticing his gaze.

"Cough cough cough." Lu Zhi coughed again, his cough accompanied by the sudden sound of gunfire. He glanced out the window and saw that a car had already pulled up beside them.
"We've been caught up with the captain."
As soon as he finished speaking, he saw the window of the car opposite open, and a black gun barrel pointed at the passenger.
Lu Zhi pursed his thin lips, subtly shifted his position, and said lazily, "Sigh, they're really getting into a heated fight."
