Chapter 83 Lots of Bad Ideas
The next day when they set sail, the law enforcement officer began to act. In order not to arouse suspicion, the attendants told others that his old illness had flared up and that he was resting in his room, and that no one was allowed to disturb him.
Lu Zhi left his body in their room, and the tattoo on his waist wriggled and transformed into a verdant ivy that wrapped around Sui Cheng's body.
This vine is unlike any that Sui Cheng has seen before; this is the true form of Law Enforcement, though it is also a manifestation of spiritual power.
Even after transforming into vines, Lü Zhi remained as restless as ever, its branches and leaves fidgeting on Sui Cheng's body, which he managed to catch several times.
After boarding the cruise ship, the attendant avoided everyone and whispered a threat: "If you dare to touch me again, you won't be allowed in bed."
The vine immediately retracted, perhaps to appease him, and even rubbed its leaves against his cheek.
They're actually quite cute.
As he thought about it, Sui Cheng touched the spot where he had rubbed against him.
This time, their destination was farther than yesterday's, making it more suitable for legal action.
When they reached the closest point to the deep sea, Sui Cheng glanced up from his sleeve. The vines wrapped around his arm twitched, having crawled out from his collar before leaving, and touched his lips with their leaves.
After Lü Zhi left, Sui Cheng touched his chest and, if he focused his mind, he could indeed feel Lü Zhi's presence.
"Captain?" Lin Zhi noticed that he was lost in thought and assumed he was worried about Lu Zhi, so she asked, "Is Brother Lu's condition serious?"
"No, he'll be fine after a few days of rest," the attendant said casually, refocusing his attention and continuing his patrol.
It did take the lawyer more than three days to return.
It was midnight when they returned to Haicheng. A vine quietly sneaked into the naval base without being detected by any superhumans.
Sui Cheng only felt the person next to him move slightly when he quickly opened his eyes and saw Lu Zhi sitting up from the bed. His movements were still a little unnatural, but after staring blankly for a while, he became normal.
Lu Zhi lay down again, turned to his side and pulled Sui Cheng into his arms, nuzzling his neck. He smelled that familiar scent, and his expression softened a little. He then looked into Sui Cheng's eyes and said in a pitiful and coquettish voice, "The sea was really uncomfortable. Baby's scent is so much better."
As he spoke, he rubbed against him again, this time pressing his mouth directly against his neck, licking it all the way down without stopping.
The attendant pressed down on his dog-like head and said sternly, "Let's get down to business first. What happened?"
"No rush, we'll talk about it later." Lu Zhi pinched his chin, about to kiss him, but Sui Cheng turned his head away.
The attendant slowly uttered a sentence: "You've been lying in bed for three days, and you haven't washed up in three days."
The smell of disgust was almost overflowing.
Lu Zhi's handsome face was all wrinkled up, and he suddenly looked extremely aggrieved.
He was heartbroken that he couldn't kiss his baby, but he couldn't force himself to kiss her, so he could only reluctantly get up and go to wash up.
As a result, after taking only two steps off the bed, her legs gave way and she collapsed to the ground.
"Hey!" Before the attendant could grab him, he saw him fall headfirst, half of his body braced against the edge of the bed.
Lu Zhi's face was extremely gloomy, and he cursed under his breath, "What's wrong with this damn body!"
Sui Cheng pursed his lips, as if suppressing a laugh, and coughed lightly, saying, "He's still a human being. It's good enough if he can survive for three days without food or water."
He got up and gave Lu Zhi some energy-boosting food, telling him to eat it before he left.
Lu Zhi felt he had lost face in front of his companion, which was a huge loss of his manly dignity. He muttered to himself, scolding himself.
After quickly getting ready, she rolled onto the bed, hugged Suicheng tightly, rubbed against him for a while, and then, biting his neck, mumbled, "How about we talk about it after we wake up?"
The passenger nudged him and said speechlessly, "Check the time yourself."
Lu Zhi glanced at the time on his bracelet; it was 5 a.m.
"Alright, then I won't sleep." He rolled over and pinned Suicheng beneath him, his hands roaming freely over Suicheng's body. Suicheng slapped him away several times, but Suicheng ignored him and insisted on getting closer.
The attendant grabbed his hand and pinned it to the side, not giving him a chance, and said sternly, "Get to the point!"
"Oh." The lawyer pouted, looking aggrieved, and recounted the events of the past few days.
“Counting from where I entered the water, I should have found that small island more than 1,000 kilometers away. There are indeed many alien species around it, and they are all under their control.” Lu Zhi leaned his head on one hand and played with the hair of his companion with the other, saying lazily, “I have roughly observed all the entrances, and they can be described as airtight. I couldn’t find any place to get close, so I simply didn’t go near them and went directly to the outer sea. There are indeed many alien species in the sea, but most of them are quietly lurking in the deep sea. As long as you don’t get close, they will not actively attack other alien species.”
"Have you found a powerful mutant?" the attendant asked him.
With a persistent look of curiosity, Lu suddenly smiled and said, "Why don't you kiss me first, and then I'll continue?"
The passenger: "..." This person can't be serious for more than a few minutes before revealing his true colors.
"Quick, kiss me, I don't have the energy to talk to you anymore, I'm so tired~" Lu Zhi said coquettishly as she lay on the bed, tilting her head to look forward to Sui Cheng's initiative.
"I give up." The servant was utterly speechless, and with a cold face, he touched his lips to his. "Now you're better, continue."
"Hmm, found them, quite a few." Lu Zhi stretched out his hand and counted them one by one on his fingers in front of him, "Giant octopus, megalodon, manta ray, blue whale... These large marine creatures are all relatively strong in the ocean."
"How does it compare to you?" Sui Cheng blurted out, and the next second she met his smiling eyes. Her eyes flickered and her ears burned a little.
“My dear, I can move freely between them. Tell me, who is more powerful?” Lu Zhi said with a half-smile.
Sui Cheng realized he had asked a silly question, cleared his throat, and changed the subject, saying, "And then?"
Lu Zhi's fingertips caressed his lips, carrying an inexplicable sensuality, and he said with a smile, "Blue Whale didn't want to get into trouble. The manta ray was too big and inconvenient to move around. The Megalodon had a bad temper and was difficult to negotiate with, so I went to find the giant octopus. That guy isn't very smart and is easy to fool."
Sui Cheng then realized that he might not have gone there to negotiate in the first place, but just wanted to find someone who wasn't very bright and trick them into doing his bidding.
"Hmm, what is my captain thinking?" Lu Zhi pressed his finger against his lips, bringing him back to his senses, and said in a long tone, "There are actually other reasons why we were able to persuade it. The island where the new generation is located was originally its territory, and it has always wanted to find an opportunity to take it back, but unfortunately, it has too many alien species under its command."
"Is it believable?" The passenger still had some reservations, after all, it was a different species.
Lu Zhi squinted, pried open his lips with his thumb, and slipped it inside. His expression looked somewhat dangerous as he casually said, "Why don't you believe me? Aliens are much easier to understand than you humans. They don't have as many bad intentions."
The passenger glanced down at his hand, her face clearly saying, "Isn't this enough to mean he has no ill intentions?"
Lu Zhi chuckled: "I don't count. I have plenty of bad ideas."
