The three men studied Feng Minghao's footprints while anxiously looking around for Hua An. Hua An was likely also watching them closely. After the soldiers left, they hadn't been studying Feng Minghao for long when they heard a whooshing sound in the distance. Wang Hai and Jiang Qingsong looked up and saw a figure hovering in mid-air, rapidly approaching them.
Upon approaching, the two saw a handsome man with pink pupils and silver sclera sitting on something floating. The man stopped directly in front of them. After the man stopped, Zhang Jianjun rushed forward to ask him questions.
"Ah, where did you go? And what did you inject into Feng Minghao? His power has increased dramatically, how are we going to control it?"
"Oh well, I can't help it. Since the apocalypse, I haven't seen such beautiful scenery. Seeing such a beautiful Mother Earth, I just want to travel around. If he hadn't stopped me, I wouldn't have injected him with the drug. Besides, it's a good thing, and I don't have many of my own. Giving it to him is a waste. As for the sudden increase in strength, a little more training will do the trick."
Wang Hai and Jiang Qingsong watched as the man Zhang Jianjun called Hua An descended from the floating object and walked towards the four of them. To Wang Hai, a rough and unrefined man, the way he walked was utterly awkward, but Jiang Qingsong immediately noticed that the man's gait was extremely alluring. Although the word "alluring" might be a bit inappropriate for a man, Jiang Qingsong certainly saw it. An idea began to form in his mind.
So when the man walked up to them, Jiang Qingsong extended his hand before Wang Hai and shook hands with him.
"Hello, Hua An, right? I'm Jiang Qingsong, and this is my partner, Wang Han. May I ask your gender?"
Liu Mingfeng heard his question and glanced at him sideways, a glance that seemed to the four of them strangely charming. Although Zhang Jianjun, Wang Hai, and Jiang Qingsong felt a bit shocked, the one most shocked was Feng Minghao.
Feng Minghao knew that his cousin would become a different person in this plan, but who could tell him why, after only going out for a short while and giving his family a reasonable excuse for not being healthy, his cousin came back like this?
Although Feng Minghao had seen men like that before, those were actors or minor officials who had been specially trained since childhood. But could you imagine that an extremely handsome man would turn into such a charming and alluring person just by going out for a stroll?
Feng Minghao was now a little curious about what they had experienced in the apocalypse. While Feng Minghao and his companions were going through an emotional storm, they heard Hua An talk about it.
"Me? Of course I'm a woman."
Upon hearing this, Jiang Qingsong's suspicions were confirmed. He exclaimed, "Just as I thought!" All the incongruities about this person only seemed awkward when applied to a man; however, if a woman were present, everything would be normal. Jiang Qingsong also inquired about how Feng Minghao could recover quickly, as leaving a hole in his foot wasn't a long-term solution, and they still needed to descend the mountain later.
Liu Mingfeng shrugged, indicating he couldn't help it either. He offered to have someone carry him down the mountain. When he learned Zhang Jianjun and the others were heading to the cave, he patted the hoverboard still suspended in mid-air, saying it could give them a ride. Wang Hai and Jiang Qingsong were puzzled. Zhang Jianjun had described it as having only three seats, but there were five of them, including Feng Minghao.
Liu Mingfeng didn't answer their questions. Instead, he got in and manipulated the controls, creating three additional seats in the back, making a total of four seats including the one for the driver. Liu Mingfeng then took Zhang Jianjun and the other two into the cave. Along the way, Wang Hai and Jiang Qingsong also experienced the thrill of speed.
After dropping the three men off near the soldiers who had set off for Shandong ahead of them, Liu Mingfeng put them down and then drove away on his hoverboard, leaving the three men with the words, "Wait for them down the mountain."
The three people, who were dizzy from the high-speed ride, looked up and only heard his voice; he was already gone. Wang Hai and Jiang Qingsong supported each other, occasionally gagging. Zhang Jianjun, who had already experienced it once, was fine, but felt a little dizzy and needed to lean against a tree trunk to catch his breath. After calming down, Wang Hai said to Zhang Jianjun, who was leaning against the tree.
"I believe you now. This thing is damn fast, but it's a bit of a cripple."
Zhang Jianjun just smiled and didn't say anything. Although he wasn't gagging like Wang Hai and Jiang Qingsong from time to time, he was still feeling dizzy and uncomfortable. After the three of them calmed down, they set off to catch up with the pair of soldiers ahead of them.
After catching up with the group, Zhang Jianjun ran a few steps faster and got to the front of the group. He gestured for everyone to quicken their pace and follow him towards the cave.
When the group reached the wild boar's cave, they were amazed by the mechanism. After entering the valley, they were further stunned by the loot the Japanese had collected. There were several large boxes of gold bars and several boxes of silver dollars, all neatly bundled in paper. There were also many antique paintings and calligraphy. Jiang Qingsong looked at the antiques that had been damaged during transport due to inadequate protection, his face filled with heartache.
When Zhang Jianjun led them into the secret room, they saw a pile of boxes. When they opened them, they were shocked to find that the boxes inside were even more valuable than the ones outside. Everyone was so shocked that they couldn't close their mouths.
The first two to regain their senses, besides Zhang Jianjun, were Wang Hai and Jiang Qingsong. Once they recovered, they rallied the soldiers they had brought, along with the police officers Zhang Jianjun had brought, to carry the items towards their military post. Because the gold and silver were quite heavy, sometimes two people carried it together, and sometimes even four. By the time they carried the items down, they had already run back and forth twice.
