◎Happy Day 49: Sunlight◎
The camping site that Jiang Muyun and his companions finally chose was right next to the safety railing of the observation deck.
The main problem was that it was not going well to set up the tent.
First, the lights.
They did bring a few rechargeable emergency lights, but there was nowhere to hang them, and the suitcase was so full of holes that it couldn't stand on its own.
They could only bolt lights to the guardrails to provide some lighting.
Moreover, the observation deck is paved with marble, so it is impossible to drive nails into the ground.
The wind on the mountain was strong at night. The tents Jiang Muyun and Chu Buwen brought were lightweight, and their frames would be blown away as soon as they were placed on the ground.
Pitch the tent next to the guardrails so that at least the wind ropes can be tied to the guardrail legs.
After the tent doors are set up, throw the luggage in to press it down, then cover the outside of the tent with a few layers of thermal blankets, and connect the two tents into one long tent.
Jiang Muyun also drilled holes in the corners of the thermal blanket and tied it to the tent stand with ropes.
In order to maintain ventilation, they had to open all four doors of the two tents as soon as they finished applying the medicine, and they had to keep them open overnight until the incubation period of nitrogen oxide poisoning was over and to ensure that they had no symptoms of poisoning.
The temperature on the top of the mountain is low. If you don’t keep warm, you will definitely catch a cold the next day.
After the tent was set up and the layers of mats were laid out, they could start to pack themselves up.
There is a thermal blanket covering the outside, so there is no need to worry about performing shadow puppetry with lights hanging inside the tent.
Qin Shiwu first checked their wounds one by one.
The good news was that they'd covered themselves up pretty well, so the worst they'd suffered was second-degree burns, which could be treated with blisters and normal medication. Qin Shiwu didn't need to treat them individually; they could just clean, disinfect, and apply medication to each other's wounds without any problem.
The bad news was that the burns on the four of them were caused by the skin being scratched due to friction.
Qin Shiwen's attempt to help her brother caused a blister on the outside of her right calf to burst, leaving a patch of skin half-hanging on her leg. Fortunately, it was just the blister that burst, and there was no bleeding. Qin Shiwen optimistically stated that this saved her the trouble of picking at the blister.
Qin Shiwu and Jiang Muyun were similar, both of them had their backs rubbed when the suitcases broke, but Qin Shiwu's rubbed his waist. Also, when he looked up, he was hit by steam, which caused two blisters on his jaw.
There was a crack on Chu Buwen's right arm from the elbow down, with obvious fingerprints. Jiang Muyun guessed that he pinched himself to stay awake when he first entered the cave.
However, he stretched out his hand to the life blanket twice, so he was lucky to be only injured like this.
Jiang Muyun looked the most miserable.
The skin was broken on both shoulder blades and her left shoulder.
The area was not large, just three ovals, but it was located relatively high up. When the blood that seeped out was washed away by the water, it looked like half of her body was soaked in blood.
Strictly speaking, the injuries of the three of them were not serious, but the pain was real.
When Qin Shiwen was applying medicine to Jiang Muyun, Jiang Muyun kept muttering that someone had cut off his wings. The two of them made up a melodramatic drama, trying to hypnotize themselves and divert their attention.
Jiang Muyun and his friends had sufficient supplies of medicine at home, so they always carried a medical kit with them when they went out. Jiang Muyun even mixed some burn ointment in with the medicine, so this minor injury could be treated quickly.
After changing into spare clothes, they opened the tent door. Qin Shiwu gave each of them an anti-inflammatory pill to swallow. Only then did they realize that there were a lot more people outside.
Jiang Muyun and his group were the first survivors to reach the top of the mountain, but not the only one.
In addition to the survivors who survived in the Immortal Cave, human figures also appeared in other places one after another.
Everyone knows that burning oil will produce toxic gases. Although we may not know what they are specifically, it is always a good idea to go to a ventilated place.
The most ventilated and safest area in the entire Nanshan Mountain is the one on the top of the mountain.
Those who had everything prepared also set up tents or put up rainproof sheets like Jiang Muyun and the others.
Those who didn't carry that many things had to share a room with others, go to the mountains to find a few stones to pile up with their luggage, and use a life-saving blanket to barely make a small space.
After bandaging the wounds, they packed up their belongings, wiped Dabai and Xiaobai clean, and put them in the tent.
As for the two chickens that looked inedible, Jiang Muyun simply covered their cages with a thermal blanket, tied the cage doors to the suitcase with a rope, and left them at the door of the tent.
In order to prevent infection caused by mosquito bites and to block the rain swept into the tent by the wind, Chu Buwen was thinking about weaving a net with cotton thread.
Jiang Muyun turned around and rummaged through his suitcase, finding two new pairs of stockings.
Qin Shiwen's expression was indescribable: "You're running for your life... and you're wearing this? I've never seen you wear this before."
Jiang Muyun took out a knife and cut the stockings open. "I can tell you have no experience surviving in the wild. This thing can be used as an elastic rope, a water filter, or even as a bandage for wounds in emergencies. It's a must-have for home and travel, right?"
Qin Shiwen sincerely apologized for his narrow-mindedness, but asked: "Is it really common to have wilderness survival experience?"
Why do the other people think it's normal?
Chu Buwen spread his hands and said, "As I said, Jiang Muyun and I have similar interests and hobbies."
Qin Shiwu was calculating how long their medicine reserves would last. Upon hearing this, he looked up and said concisely, "We have it in first aid class."
Qin Shiwen was speechless for a moment.
The class Qin Shiwu was talking about was not the first aid class that medical students take, but a popular science class on first aid knowledge in various environments.
Her brother was addicted to watching this kind of video when he was in middle school, because he always imagined that one day he would become an unsung hero who saved people in critical moments.
Now Qin Shiwu considers himself a mature man, but he still feels a little embarrassed when talking about his youthful days.
Spread the gauze cloth made from stockings and fix it at the door of the tent, then tie a piece of cotton cloth at the bottom to drain water, so you don’t have to worry about your face being washed by rain in the middle of the night.
Jiang Muyun took out the outdoor gas tank and stove: "We've been hungry all day, what should we eat?"
Chu Buwen also took out a gas tank, and went over all the existing ingredients in his mind, and then waited for Qin Shiwu to speak.
The current situation is special and the injuries on your body need to recover as soon as possible. It is better to follow the doctor's advice on diet.
Qin Shiwu thought for a moment and said, "Those containing zinc, vitamin A, high fat and high protein are all fine."
Jiang Muyun blinked: "You need to supplement Vitamin A? Why didn't you tell me earlier?"
As she spoke, Jiang Muyun took out a small plastic bag from the medical bag she brought, which contained a number of small paper packages.
Qin Shiwu also saw it when he was sorting the medicine just now, but the paper package was colorful and there was no medicine name written on it, so he ignored it.
Jiang Muyun picked through the items and took out a few small paper packages. "Here, these are all Vitamin A tablets. Do you need anything else? I also have Vitamin B, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E, as well as multivitamins and fish oil."
In reality, the contents were all gifts from her health supplement purchases, and she still had quite a few in her space. She'd piled up a bunch of identically packaged small paper bags together, and when she rummaged through them, she'd slip in some that weren't there before without anyone noticing.
Qin Shiwu didn't expect that she had these, and said in surprise: "Vitamin C and fish oil can also be supplemented appropriately, one to enhance immunity and the other to promote wound healing."
Jiang Muyun followed his instructions and searched for the small paper bag. At the end, he didn't forget to boast: "What do you say? Am I fully prepared?"
Chu Buwen smiled and said, "This time our wounds can be healed, I will give you a first-class merit."
As he spoke, Chu Buwen found a small bag of dried black fungus and kelp, as well as a bag of dehydrated chopped green onions and dried carrots.
Their food was vacuum-packed at home, and other items were all packed in waterproof bags. Although the suitcase was damaged and the packaging bags of some items softened, most of the items inside were preserved and basically not damaged by water.
Although it is troublesome to prepare these, their value is reflected now.
At least now, whether people have tents or not, few can put on dry clothes like them, sit down and discuss what to eat in a dry place.
Chu Buwen opened the package and said, "Tonight I'll make you some dumpling soup with carrots and chopped green onions as a reward. I'll also soak the fungus and kelp in the evening and make soup for you tomorrow morning."
Everyone agreed.
Although it is still far from "eating something good", there are people everywhere outside now, and making something with a strong smell will easily attract hatred.
At this point, we can't expect people to still uphold the five virtues, four beauties and three loves.
When they said this, they remembered that they had no water.
The mineral water they brought with them was all washed away in the cave. They had just swallowed the medicine dry, and now they remembered that they needed water, so they had to collect some rainwater and filter it.
Fortunately, the time spent at the shelter left a psychological scar on many people, and after leaving, everyone had some outdoor gear at home. Water filtration products were a necessity for every household, and people could buy as many as they could find on the market, so no one would forget to bring water filtration equipment when they went out.
The days of high temperature and lack of water were not easy, but it was also during the short period of resumption of work after the extreme cold that they replenished a lot of supplies, which enabled them to survive the subsequent drought and heavy rain.
Now the four of them had three gas canisters to use, freeing up one to boil water without delaying meals. If they hadn't experienced the extreme cold months, most people wouldn't have such supplies at home. In this situation, they could only watch helplessly, unable to even find wood in the mountains.
The rain outside was not as heavy as in the past few days, but if you spread a plastic raincoat on the ground, the water would still be collected quickly.
Chu Buwen had an injury on his hand, so Jiang Muyun just shouted a few words to satisfy his curiosity. When it came to cooking, no one dared to let him do it. Chu Buwen provided technical guidance, and the other three served as his substitutes.
The final product looks pretty good.
Although the meal was simple, everyone felt extremely happy the moment they drank the warm soup.
Qin Shiwen held the bowl and slurped down the last bite reluctantly: "The last time we had this meal was at noon, but why do I feel like I ate this in my last life?"
Qin Shiwu piled up the pots and bowls he had used to eat and rinsed them with water: "If there had been any accident two hours ago, we would have had to wait until our next life to have this dinner."
Jiang Muyun lifted a corner of the gauze, letting in the plastic raincoat and the collected water, muttering, "I don't want another life. What if the end isn't over when I open my eyes? That would be like repeated torture."
Qin Shiwen looked at her: "Doomsday?"
Jiang Muyun tilted his head towards the outside and said, "Isn't this the end of the world?"
Qin Shiwen held his chin and said nothing.
It's been so long since the tsunami, and there's still no sign of the military or the government stepping in to organize the people to evacuate. It really feels a bit like the end of the world.
"It's time to go to bed. We'll take turns keeping watch tonight. Wake me up if you see anyone having difficulty breathing." Qin Shiwu didn't want to think about the end of the world for the time being. He felt that what they should care about right now was whether they could survive tonight.
Since the power outage, several people have developed the habit of carrying watches with them. They took them off to prevent burns and never thought about it again. Now that they need to check the time, they take out their watches and put them together for a physical examination.
The four of them had four watches and four times, and the time on each person's watch deviated from that of the others by at least a few minutes. In the end, everyone decided to follow the fine tradition of their ancestors and take a step back and take the middle number.
When arranging the night watch time, Jiang Muyun and Chu Buwen were sent to the front and back by Qin Shiwu.
The wounds on both of their bodies were bleeding and needed to scab over quickly, so they were placed at the beginning and end so they could move less.
This night was quiet and difficult for most people on the mountain.
It was quiet because it was raining outside when the tsunami hit, so it was not particularly difficult to prevent nitrogen oxide poisoning.
Except for a few people who were courting death, they failed to cover their mouths and noses in time when the fire came. Later, when they saw that they had no symptoms, they thought they were really fine. In order to keep warm at night, they had to cover themselves tightly. No one's advice worked.
As a result, once the incubation period was over, several of the smart people suffered from pulmonary edema and were unable to breathe. They didn't even have a chance to be rescued and died quietly.
The hardship was because everyone was injured, and you never knew when you'd get hurt. It was still cold on the mountain at night, and Qin Shiwen nearly got cramps from the cold. So, as soon as the sun rose in the morning, everyone was half awake.
Jiang Muyun was still wearing his raincoat when he came out of the tent. He only realized something was wrong after he had finished brushing his teeth.
Just like a consolation prize given by the blue planet to mankind, the rain stopped today and the sky turned a long-lost azure blue.
Jiang Muyun lifted the hood of his raincoat, looked up at the sky, then turned to Chu Buwen who had emerged from the other side of the tent and said, "How about you stop brushing your teeth for a while?"
Chu Buwen was at a loss.
Did I do something wrong? Why am I being denied the right to brush my teeth?
Jiang Muyun raised the small bowl in his hand that was temporarily serving as a toothbrush cup and offered it to Chu Buwen from a distance: "I didn't notice that the rain had stopped this morning, and now I've already wasted the only bowl of water we have left. If you brush your teeth now, you'll probably just swallow the toothpaste foam."
"Has the rain stopped?" Qin Shiwen poked his head out. "I was wondering if something was missing when I woke up this morning—Ah!"
Qin Shiwen's head shrank back again. Judging from the noise, it was probably rubbed against the wound.
Jiang Muyun spat out the mouthwash, wiped his face with a wet towel, and looked down the mountain while holding the guardrail.
This place seems to have become a real ocean.
The huge South City has disappeared, with only a few high-rise buildings swaying precariously in the water.
The surface of the water was clear and cool, as if all the dirt had sunk to the bottom.
The moment the sun rose, wisps of mist rose from the water surface, and the boundless waters were coated with a layer of golden light.
Before I knew it, the guardrail was full of people.
Everyone held their breath and watched the long-lost sunlight jump down from the clouds into the water, surrounded by the graceful mist.
The vast and quiet city is a tribute to the survivors, with a sense of innocence and naive cruelty.
The sun, which had been away for months, cast a pitying look at people. What was heard on the observation deck at the top of the mountain was not cheers, but sobs suppressed in the throats.
Jiang Muyun took off his raincoat and rolled up his sleeves, greedily enjoying every minute and second of basking in the sun.
Qin Shiwen raised his hand, feeling the warmth of the sun, and murmured, "It feels like a lifetime ago."
"There's a little bird!" a child's voice rang out.
Everyone looked up at the sky at the same time, but found nothing.
"Daddy, there's the bird!"
Everyone looked at the little girl who spoke. The little girl was held in her father's arms and pointed in the direction of the mountain.
The little girl Tangtang, who hadn't eaten candy for a long time, was skinny and dirty, with only two pairs of big eyes that were as bright as her favorite glass candy wrappers.
Seeing that everyone was looking at her, Tangtang was not stage-frightened. Instead, she waved happily at everyone, inviting them to look at her beloved bird together.
Everyone looked in the direction of Tangtang's finger and saw a gray little sparrow flying past below and disappearing behind the top of a small hill.
Most of the mountains in the western suburbs only have the top of the mountain left, and there are a few small bumps on the mountaintop observation decks.
It may be simple, but it is indeed a small world that the survivors have built for themselves.
Jiang Muyun stretched lazily: "Let's go, let's get to work. Let's go down the mountain to get some water."
Chu Buwen was still thinking about his right to brush his teeth: "I'll go with you, and treat it as morning exercise."
Qin Shiwu gave them today's dose of anti-inflammatory medicine: "Stop struggling, the wound has just scabbed over, don't open it again."
Jiang Muyun stiffened his neck and swallowed the capsule raw: "With just these few pots and pans, how can we cause any damage? Don't worry, brother. We'll come up later, and you can go down and run a few more. We'll share the happiness fairly and justly!"
After saying this, Jiang Muyun put the small water bottle in his pocket and left without waiting for Qin Shiwu to speak.
They really didn't have any containers, not even mineral water bottles, only these outdoor kettles and the pots and bowls they used for eating.
Even if you take all these things with you, you can't carry much water. The effort of carrying water is not as much as the effort of walking back and forth.
Jiang Muyun was basking in the sun and humming a song, and on the way he talked to Chu Buwen about going into the water to salvage supplies.
"Jiang Muyun!"
A clear female voice came from behind.
Jiang Muyun turned around and saw Wang Qingqing jogging towards him.
"It's really you! I told you I must have heard it right!"
As Wang Qingqing spoke, she turned around and waved to the back. Jiang Muyun looked back in the direction she followed and saw a group of people following behind them.
"Do you know each other?" Zhao Jiahao stretched his neck, holding a few empty bottles in his hands.
Jiang Muyun was surprised: "You know each other too? How did you meet and go there together?"
It was such a coincidence that Wang Qingqing and Zhao Jiahao met each other.
Yesterday, Wang Qingqing and the other three heard the broadcast made by Jiang Muyun and others and decided to move to the western suburbs on their own.
They were lucky and met a rescue team on the way. At that time, there was no order to organize the evacuation of the masses, so the four of them were directly pulled back by the rescue team's speedboat.
Not long after they arrived in the western suburbs, an order was issued to evacuate the people. Zhao Jiahao and Li Anxuan were preparing to return to the team to carry out the mission.
But their situation was special and they returned to the team relatively late. The main force set off without waiting for them. When they arrived, they were temporarily arranged to meet the survivors who had already arrived in the western suburbs, including Wang Qingqing and the other four.
The four of them had served as flood relief volunteers when they were in college. Seeing that the people here were too busy, they wanted to help. Naturally, the other party refused at first.
But Zheng Xiang is also a talented person. She put all her documents and certificates in a waterproof bag and brought them out. Seeing that the other party had concerns, she took out the honorary certificate issued by the government.
Since they had experience, it was not difficult for them to rescue the survivors. As they were in urgent need of manpower, the person in charge decided to temporarily recruit them to help Zhao Jiahao and Li Anxuan.
When the military observed the fire, Zhao Jiahao, Wang Qingqing and others had just resettled a group of survivors.
When they heard the loudspeaker telling all rescue workers to retreat and all government and military personnel at Nanshan and at the foot of Nanshan to gather at the command post on the top of the mountain, they followed.
Because it was an emergency gathering, all available vehicles in the scenic area were mobilized, and Zhao Jiahao and his companions just caught the last shuttle bus heading to the top of the mountain.
Only after arriving did they find out that the authorities had mobilized them to distribute emergency life-saving blankets.
This job is no different from that of the Suicide Squad.
The sea of fire is about to come. It would be fine if you can get there in time, but if you are still on the way when the tsunami comes, you will not survive even if you wrap yourself in eight layers of heat-insulating clothing.
It was naturally impossible for Wang Qingqing and the others to be sent to carry out such a mission.
If they hadn't been so short of manpower at the time, Wang Qingqing and the others would have been sent to the cave where Jiang Muyun and the others were.
But since they were already there, Zhao Jiahao and Li Anxuan, who had brought the people with them, were arranged to stay on the top of the mountain with Wang Qingqing and the others, and be responsible for the transportation of logistical supplies.
The military had more specialized thermal insulation clothing than emergency blankets, but they were too few and too bulky to distribute. Besides the people delivering the blankets, there were only enough for a few high-ranking officials.
Zhao Jiahao, Wang Qingqing and others escaped the disaster thanks to the insulation cotton in the warehouse.
However, while the insulation was effective, it wasn't as protective as a life-saving blanket. They didn't have time to use the insulation as a safety shelter, so they had to wrap themselves in it. This resulted in many long burns on their bodies, all caused by the insulation not being able to protect them.
Fortunately, the cave where the logistical supplies were stored was installed with a door by the authorities. They only felt hot when hiding inside and did not inhale much poisonous gas. In the morning, they found some medicine to apply on themselves and could comfort themselves that they were only superficial injuries.
The warehouse they were in was filled with daily necessities and not much water. They came out just to get water and find some food.
Jiang Muyun asked, "Do you know where the official who can make the decision is now? I see there are still many survivors in the surrounding mountains."
Zhao Jiahao and the others were silent, and Wang Qingqing's eyes suddenly turned red.
Zheng Xiang pursed her lips: "They are all... gone."
Jiang Muyun and Chu Buwen were surprised: "They're all gone? Don't they have thermal insulation clothes?"
Li Anxuan sighed, "Yesterday, after the division commander and his men had almost finished arranging things, they went to the warehouse where the flammable and explosive materials were stored."
"Ammunition and fuel are stored in a separate converted warehouse. The warehouse's security level is very high, and the division commander and his men need to go in person to open the full-sealed security."
"Zhao Jiahao and I went to investigate the situation last night and found out... the person had died in the line of duty." Having said that, Li Anxuan closed his eyes.
The location of the warehouse is no secret, and Zhao Jiahao and Li Anxuan have both participated in the transportation of materials.
Because the items stored in that warehouse are too dangerous, and the situation outside is chaotic and the military is short-staffed, whether it is to open the warehouse door or to completely lock and seal the warehouse, the biometric codes of at least three senior leaders are needed to issue orders.
The ones who chose to go to the warehouse to close the store that day were their division commander, political commissar and logistics minister.
Originally, those people only needed to enter the warehouse, seal it, and survive with the protection of the warehouse.
But the temperature rose too quickly, faster than anyone expected.
The large amount of water vapor formed by the rapid evaporation of rainwater becomes the most deadly obstacle.
They even reached the warehouse door, but did not have the strength to enter the password, and could only cover the door with a few pieces of insulating clothing as a consolation.
When Zhao Jiahao and Li Anxuan found them, they couldn't even bury them intact.
Li Anxuan smiled bitterly, "At the time, most people were involved in the emergency evacuation. Only a few senior leaders were responsible for coordinating the deployment. The division commander and his men died in the line of duty. The deputy division commander and several government officials were away processing confidential documents, and their whereabouts are now unknown."
In fact, in the current situation, even if we find people, we can’t organize them.
Not to mention how many military personnel are still alive, the communication problem alone is too fatal.
Even before the tsunami, there were often comrades who got separated during missions and were never found again. How much more so now that the place was washed away to pieces and even a few boats were nowhere to be found.
Zhao Jiahao shook the empty water bottle in his hand: "At this time, we can only take care of ourselves. We have just re-enlisted for a few months and we have to be discharged again."
Jiang Muyun and Chu Buwen looked at each other, and Chu Buwen asked, "Where do you live now?"
Zhao Jiahao: "We're living in the logistics warehouse. Do you want to move in?"
Jiang Muyun suggested sincerely: "I suggest you move out as soon as possible."
The situation has gotten out of control. Nanshi is currently in a state of anarchy, and the survivors are all short of food and clothing. By the time everyone reacts, these warehouses on Nanshan Mountain will be the most dangerous places.
And leaving now doesn't mean you can't come back later.
Apart from anything else, she was really attracted by weapons and fuel.
But according to Li Anxuan, even opening the door of that place requires several biometric codes, so no one can get in now.
Fortunately, they couldn't get in now, so no one else could get in either. If she wanted to, she would have to come alone when no one was around and use the space to think of a solution.
After hearing Jiang Muyun's words, Li Anxuan responded without even a pause: "I think so too. There are still some inflatable life rafts left in the warehouse. Let's take this opportunity to pack up the supplies we need and then find a place to move. What do you think?"
Zheng Xiang and his companions had been penniless since the beginning of the extreme cold, yet they had managed to survive until now. Their brains couldn't be bad, so they immediately said, "Can we move with you? We promise not to cause any more trouble."
From their decisive move to the western suburbs to following Jiang Muyun and the others in their current migration, these girls knew how to find and seize opportunities.
Jiang Muyun and the others had no objection.
After all, the transfer wasn't to some shady secret base. Everyone was on their own, and these girls weren't the type to rely on others for everything. They were decent people, so if they wanted to come along, they could.
"Brother Wu and Sister Wen are still on the mountain. We will go up the mountain to call them after we get some water. You guys go back and pack up first?" Jiang Muyun said.
Wang Qingqing and the others probably didn't bring any clothes with them. They were wearing military short-sleeved shirts that were obviously too loose. They didn't dare to lift their arms outside because they would be exposed. Their shoes left wet footprints with every step they walked.
Whether it looks good or not is secondary. It is true that wearing it like this can make you sick.
Not to mention Zhao Jiahao and Li Anxuan, who were both on government payrolls. All their belongings were at home and were now soaking in water.
Chu Buwen thought for a moment and said, "Pack up your things as quickly as possible. Don't be greedy. Focus on supplies that can't be soaked in water. You don't need too much water, just enough to last you through this period. There are plenty of other things outside. We can wait a few days until the wound heals and then go in to retrieve them."
Zheng Xiang and her friends had gone out to fish during the downpour, so they were very receptive to Chu Buwen's zero-yuan shopping plan. Only Zhao Jiahao and Li Anxuan silently prepared themselves mentally after hearing it.
Qin Shiwen and Qin Shiwu had even less objection to the transfer.
No one was staring at them in the morning because the sun came out and attracted most people's attention.
Now that the novelty has worn off, they have tents, thermal blankets, and even pots and pans for cooking, which is really eye-catching.
While Jiang Muyun was going down the mountain to fetch water, the brother and sister drove away at least three groups of people who came to ask about thermal blankets.
Jiang Muyun told them about his encounter with Zhao Jiahao and his group, and how they were planning to grab some supplies before leaving. The two immediately agreed. They quickly packed up their belongings and left, leaving behind a few damaged thermal blankets to distract attention.
The group found a few cargo carts and followed Zhao Jiahao and Li Anxuan to the warehouses one by one, specifically picking out military supplies that were not commonly seen outside and those that were not waterproof.
The people had different supplies and needed different things. In order to save time and improve efficiency, they looked for them separately. At most, when they came across necessities such as paper towels, they would ask others and then move a few more boxes into the car.
There were a lot of things in the warehouse, and all kinds of materials were piled up to block out the sun. Once they got in, they could only hear sounds but not see anyone.
Apart from anything else, it was really convenient for Jiang Muyun to collect things into the space while taking advantage of the situation.
