Chapter 36 Han Shuo's Plans
"Are you crazy?" the fat man cursed.
"Do you know how many superhumans like Captain Wang are there? Are you sure you can find them? Fine! Even if you can find them, aren't you worried that they'll be just as brutal as Captain Wang?" The fat man was very angry and spoke loudly as he continued.
"Also, we've never seen any alien species before, but they're definitely more terrifying than zombies. Captain Wang is looking for them, and you want to look for them too? Are you sure you can handle them?"
"Yes, yes, Han Shuo, you're strong enough now." Li Shurou had never seen the fat man dare to get so angry at Han Shuo before, and she was startled, whispering to herself.
"Sigh!" Han Shuo sighed. He was gratified by their concern for him, but his desire for power only intensified.
“You know me, although it’s very dangerous, and finding these things is like finding a needle in a haystack, if I don’t go looking for them, I won’t even have the chance to find a needle in a haystack.”
"Then we'll go with you to find a place when you can't stay here anymore!" The fat man's attitude remained firm. After saying that, he was too lazy to argue with Han Shuo anymore and turned around and went back to his room.
Han Shuo looked at Li Shurou.
"I know I can't dissuade you. If you can persuade Tongwu Chengbin, then go ahead," Li Shurou said calmly, and turned to leave.
"What kind of mess is this!" Han Shuo said helplessly. This decision had been in his heart all along, but he hadn't had the chance to say it before.
Everything is stable now, and they can handle things even if they stay here. That's why Han Shuo brought this up today.
"Alright, alright, I'm definitely going regardless of whether they agree or not, but I still need to appease them a bit."
Han Shuo was worried that the two might do something too extreme. Now that Li Shurou was taken care of, all that was left was Fatty.
...
"Hey, still awake?" Han Shuo walked into the fat man's room.
The fat man was lying in bed at the time. When he saw Han Shuo come in, he turned over and turned his back to him.
Han Shuo wasn't in a hurry and walked over.
"Why are you acting like a child, even sulking?"
"Get lost, no discussion." The fat man was clearly still angry.
"I'm off then. I'll leave directly tomorrow morning." Han Shuo said, turning to go out.
"Do you really have to go?" The fat man suddenly sat up in bed.
Han Shuo was the first friend Fatty made in the apocalypse. Over time, Fatty had come to regard Han Shuo as his own brother, and he didn't want Han Shuo to do anything that would put him at risk of death.
"I have to go!" Han Shuo's attitude was very firm.
"You should be able to see that even though this place is already quite remote, the zombies are appearing more and more frequently. You know what that proves without me having to tell you, right?"
The fat man naturally understood; his intelligence was no less than Han Shuo's, but sometimes he just didn't think as far ahead as Han Shuo.
"I know the zombies may have already come out of the city."
Han Shuo nodded and spoke.
"That's right. It's relatively safe here for the time being, but if hordes of zombies arrive, do you think the three of us alone can hold them off?"
"Then why can't we act together when the time comes? At least we can look out for each other."
Han Shuo shook his head. There were some things he didn't want to say, but in order to persuade the fat man, he still spoke them out.
"I can stay here for a while longer. It's easier for me to move around on my own. If the two of you come with me, it will distract me."
Fatty knew that what Han Shuo meant was that he and Li Shurou were two burdens. Although the words were harsh, Fatty could not deny them.
Han Shuo can only perform at his best when he has no worries. If he and Li Shurou go with him and something happens, it will indeed affect Han Shuo.
“We both exercise every day now. You want to get stronger, and we want to get stronger too. In the future, Li Shurou and I won’t hold you back.” The fat man still insisted on his attitude.
“I know, that’s why I feel comfortable leaving the two of you here. If all three of us leave and we encounter an uncontrollable situation, we won’t even have a way out. It’s not easy to find a place like this again,” Han Shuo continued.
"Moreover, this time I'm not only looking for ways to break through human limits, but I'll also be looking for other teams, since the strength of three people is limited."
"Aren't you worried about running into someone like Captain Wang again?" the fat man asked.
"So I'm going by myself, because it will be easier to evacuate in time. And this is my escape route, so I need the two of you to stay here."
"If the three of us leave, it will be easy for other survivors to take over!"
Han Shuo's words made perfect sense, and before he knew it, the fat man found himself unable to refute them.
“Like this! Ten days!” Han Shuo stretched out his hands, making a ten-shaped gesture.
"Give me ten days, and regardless of whether I succeed or not, I will definitely return here."
The fat man hesitated, but he knew in his heart that once Han Shuo made up his mind to do something, no one could stop him.
The fat man was just a little unwilling. He and Li Shurou were worried that if Han Shuo really died outside, he wouldn't even have a friend to collect his body.
"Sigh, fine, whatever, go ahead and die out there. It's best if you die out there. Shurou and I can eat the rest of the food for a couple more days!" In the end, the fat man relented.
"Don't worry, you know no one wants to live more than me! I will definitely come back." Han Shuo grinned, the matter finally resolved satisfactorily.
"Take the gun with you!" the fat man said.
"No need!" Han Shuo refused outright and left the room.
Although having a gun would make Han Shuo safer, he preferred to leave the two people here.
...
The next morning, Li Shurou prepared an extremely lavish breakfast. She knew from the previous night that Fatty had ultimately failed to dissuade Han Shuo.
Although they both said they were unwilling, they still stuffed the best and most convenient food they could find into Han Shuo's car.
Han Shuo glanced at the food and realized he only needed ten days' worth, while the two of them had prepared enough for fifteen days' worth of food for themselves.
In the end, Han Shuo was right about people; Fatty and Li Shurou are his most important friends right now.
Han Shuo planned to drive the original SUV, leaving the pickup truck for them as a backup.
Once everything was ready, Han Shuo got into the car and prepared to set off!
"Han Shuo, you must come back safely!" Li Shurou waved goodbye to Han Shuo. Since the misunderstanding between the two was completely resolved, Li Shurou trusted Han Shuo more and more, and there were some tears in the corners of her eyes.
"We'll wait for you!" The fat man stepped forward and gave Han Shuo a bear hug, equally reluctant to part.
"Don't worry! Trust me!" Han Shuo said firmly, then started the car and drove away.
"Let's go, keep watch here for him until he comes back!" the fat man said to Li Shurou before returning to the house.
They both knew that Han Shuo's trip was extremely dangerous!
