Inside a building in the southern part of the city, a room was lit up, revealing the figures of two men.
One man sat at his desk deep in thought; this was Chen Qiunan, the head of the South City branch of the National Security Bureau. The other man sat at a tea table, drinking tea; and the one drinking tea was none other than Luo Chen, who had just appeared on the street.
"You just said you let those two go?" Chen Qiunan asked, glancing at Luo Chen.
“Yes,” Luo Chen nodded, not finding anything wrong with it.
After a moment of silence, Chen Qiunan spoke again: "Old Luo, although we're both old men by our actual age, we're not that senile, are we?"
Upon hearing Chen Qiunan's words, Luo Chen paused in his actions, then said somewhat speechlessly, "I think you're the one who's getting senile. It's not that I don't want to bring them back, it's that I can't keep them."
Upon hearing the words "couldn't be kept," Chen Qiunan frowned.
Seeing his expression, Luo Chen put down his tea and slowly said, "We underestimated them this time. Both of them have reached the Breaking Mortal Realm and have special physiques. It will be difficult to capture them both. I don't know if they have any other tricks up their sleeves..."
"It would be better to avoid the main issue and simply expose their petty tricks and issue a warning."
Chen Qiunan nodded, then brought up another matter. "Old Luo, is your injury still not healed?"
Luo Chen shook his head and said nothing more.
"Alright, Lao Chen, stop looking so gloomy. The team in charge of this matter will be here tomorrow. They know that organization better than we do. Let them handle it."
