"Can you wait for me over there in the hallway for a while?" Xie Wei coaxed softly.
Bai Qianqian shook her head. "Xie Wei, I want to go for a drive to clear my head, right now."
Xie Wei raised an eyebrow, surprised that the little girl could say such a thing. He nodded, took the little girl's hand, and left.
Xie Wei ignored the rest of the matter, asked Qi Shou and the others to help him ask for leave, and then left with Bai Qianqian on a motorcycle.
Xie Wei led Bai Qianqian to the top of a mountain, where a temple was located halfway up the mountain.
As soon as Bai Qianqian got out of the car, she looked at Xie Wei with a mixture of worry and heartache in her eyes.
"Did I scare you?" Xie Wei patted the girl's hair and whispered gently, "I'm sorry."
Before she could finish speaking, Bai Qianqian hugged Xie Wei and said, "Xie Wei, I like you. Do you want to be with me?"
Xie Wei was somewhat incredulous. He looked down at the girl and asked, "Have you thought it through? You're not going to change it?" His tone was tinged with suppressed excitement, as he feared the girl was just acting on impulse.
"I won't change it," Bai Qianqian shook her head, meeting Xie Wei's gaze, her tone firm.
Xie Wei's favoritism overcame the little girl's inferiority complex and protected her tender heart.
"Then there's no going back on it now," Xie Wei said excitedly, hugging Bai Qianqian even tighter.
"Mmm," Bai Qianqian murmured, burying her head in Xie Wei's arms.
Xie Wei looked at Bai Qianqian's lips, which were reddened by the sunlight, and felt a strong urge to taste them, but he was afraid of scaring the young girl. In the end, he decided that it was better to proceed gradually.
To Xie Wei's surprise, Bai Qianqian seemed to have guessed his thoughts through his eyes. She tiptoed and kissed him. After the kiss, the girl buried her head in Xie Wei's arms and refused to come out no matter how Xie Wei coaxed her.
When they finally sent Bai Qianqian back, Xie Wei still managed to get his way. The girl's face turned bright red, and she didn't even have time to say goodbye before running away shyly.
Xie Wei texted Bai Qianqian that evening, ending their conversation with "Please give me your guidance, my girlfriend."
Goodnight, boyfriend.
