The boy's voice seemed to contain a smile, but the smile was cold.

Jiang Qing's heart sank as well.

The girl looked at Li Qingyun with no fluctuation in her expression. She looked at him as if she was watching a puppet show. Nothing he did could arouse her emotions.

"Jiang Qing," Li Qingyun just remembered, "Oh, that girl, it looks like she knows me."

"And she thinks I should know her," he called the name of the person in front of him, "Jiang Qing, do you think I should know her?"

Jiang Qing's fingertips suddenly clenched, and his face turned pale in an instant.

The eyelashes trembled slightly for a long time.

Looking up, her voice was as calm as ever: "Li Qingyun, don't let me look down on you."

Li Qingyun's eyes suddenly darkened, and beneath his calm surface lay a raging storm.

But he had a smile on his face.

"See, you still have something you care about."

Jiang Qing was startled, and following his gaze to her fingertips which were pinched red, she let go suddenly as if on fire.

Li Qingyun: "If you want me to compromise, fine."

He bent down and whispered in Jiang Qing's ear, his tone full of malice.

"As long as..." He tilted his head slightly, staring at the thin eyelids of the girl standing close to him, which obscured all expression, and said slowly, "Stay away from them."

"Stay away from that girl and her group."

The boy's breath sprayed on Jiang Qing's neck, causing her hair to stand on end. She subconsciously wanted to step away, but she held back and did not move.

"Why?" she asked.

With genuine doubt, she calmly asked, "Is it okay for me to be close to her?"

Li Qingyun took two steps back and looked down at Jiang Qing.

"Why?" He sneered, impressed by the innocence on the girl's face. "What do you think?"

"I see you're quite happy today."

Jiang Qing suddenly understood something, and she opened her mouth with difficulty, "Do you really have to do this?"

"Yes," Li Qingyun's eyes instantly turned red, and he said bitterly, "Jiang Qing, don't even think about getting rid of me."

This was a curse from fate, a nightmare that she would never be able to escape from in her entire life. From that day on, she no longer had freedom, Jiang Qing thought.

Her eyes unconsciously fell on the little fiery red lion flying above the boy's head as he walked away. She grasped her hands twice in a trance but touched nothing, and finally dropped them in vain.

The boy's figure disappeared at the end of his sight. Jiang Qing stared blankly at the red marks between his fingers that were gradually disappearing, and stood there in silence for a long time.

"Sister, why are you standing here and not going upstairs?"

The sudden familiar shout brought Jiang Qing back to her senses. She turned around and smiled naturally as usual.

"Xiaoyu, why did you come down?"

Jiang Yu approached with a black garbage bag in hand, "I went downstairs to throw away the trash and saw you here."

"Sister, did you have fun going to the park with your classmates today?" he asked curiously.

"It's quite fun," Jiang Qing opened the lid of the trash can, took the trash bag from Jiang Yu and threw it in, "I'll take you there next time."

"Okay, thank you, sister." He pulled Jiang Qing's arm, "Mom is still waiting for you at home. She left some delicious braised pork for you."

Jiang Qing: "Really? Then let's go back quickly and don't keep Mom waiting for too long."

The two of them walked into the apartment building while chatting. When they were about to turn the corner, Jiang Yu seemed to glance at the end of the road inadvertently.

It was pitch black there, with only a dim light flickering half-brightly, attracting a few moths flying around.

A small light flashed on Jiang Qing's eyelids, and the world suddenly lit up, and her drowsy head suddenly became clear.

"Are we there yet?" Jiang Qing rubbed her eyes and watched the car that had just flashed her eyes drive away.

"No," Song Qing unscrewed the bottle cap and handed her a bottle of water, and asked gently, "I'm going to the cake shop to buy some snacks. Do you want to come with me?"

Jiang Qing paused in the act of gulping down her water, and upon hearing this, she quickly said, "Okay, I can buy some for breakfast."

Song Shuang responded positively: "I want to go too!"

"If you don't want to go," Song Qing responded by slamming the car door shut without mercy, "I'll buy it for you."

"Hey, wait a minute." Seeing the two people getting out of the car, Song Qing raised his hand to lock the car, and Song Shuang was so anxious that he kept slamming the car window.

"Song Qing, are you sick? Open it for me, quickly."

Song Qing ignored him, turned around with a smile on his face, and said to Jiang Qing, "Let's go."

"Ah," Jiang Qing said blankly, looking confused. "Okay."

She followed Song Qing step by step to the cake shop on the street, her head still dizzy and confused about what was going on.

"Would you like this? I remember you like strawberries." Song Qing pointed at the small cake in the glass window and asked the girl sideways.

Jiang Qing followed the gaze and saw the white cream dotted with pointed strawberries, which looked even more tempting under the cake shop's unique color-adjusting lights.

"It looks quite fresh. Come on, have one." Song Qing said to the clerk.

"I just ate a lot, so I don't need cake," Jiang Qing said, feeling embarrassed to let Song Qing keep spending money. "I'll just buy some bread for breakfast."

She turned around to pick out her breakfast bread, and then she heard Song Qing's voice behind her, smiling, "It's already packed, you can't return it."

Jiang Qing was shocked at how fast the shop assistant was, she could finish the job in just a turn.

She took her time to pick out what she wanted to buy, and when Song Qing wasn't paying attention, she checked out as quickly as lightning, fearing that Song Qing would come and snatch the order from her.

"Here, Brother Song Qing, I'll treat you to a meal." Jiang Qing looked at Song Qing and blinked, "You can't refuse."

A helpless smile appeared on Song Qing's lips. If he didn't accept it, he would probably be accused of bullying a child.

Sitting in front of the cake shop's street-facing window, Song Qing opened the package and revealed a piece of sea salt matcha mousse.

He picked up a piece and put it in his mouth. He tasted it and the matcha and sea salt mixed with the aroma of cream melted on the tip of his tongue.

"It's delicious. Jiang Jiang is really good at choosing mousse."

Jiang Qing smiled sheepishly, "It's just so-so."

She climbed onto the high stool next to Song Qing, looked out the window, and asked in confusion, "Aren't we going back?"

Song Qing looked towards the street where a familiar car was parked. From this distance, the windows were pitch black and he couldn't see the people inside.

"Let's not go back yet." He savored the little mousse leisurely.

Song Shuang looked at the cake shop on the street angrily. She was really speechless about what Song Qing had done.

This person is sick, seriously ill!

She sat in the passenger seat with her arms folded, out of sight, out of mind. She closed her eyes and tried to calm herself down.

Don't be angry, don't be angry, don't get angry with fools, it's not worth it.

Just as she was frantically looking for reasons to cool herself down, she heard a very soft voice coming from behind the car.

"Song, Song Shuang."

Song Shuang opened her eyes quickly and stared ahead. Cars passed by on the road ahead, moving along the predetermined track.

"Song Shuang." Wang Huaqiang called cautiously.

"What for?" Song Shuang asked impatiently. She was sure that as long as she didn't respond, this person would keep shouting.

Wang Huaqiang always persists in some inexplicable things, and no one knows what his train of thought is.

"I have something to tell you." Wang Huaqiang leaned forward.

Song Shuang: "If you want to fart, just fart. I'm not blocking your mouth."

Wang Huaqi fell silent.

"Are you going to talk anymore? If not, I'm going to sleep." Song Shuang rummaged through his bag, pretending to look for an eye mask.

"I say," Wang Huacheng was afraid that if he missed this opportunity, he would never be able to speak again, "don't go to sleep yet."

Song Shuang paused, her body slumped back to her original position, and she leaned lazily against the back of the chair.

The darkness gave Wang Huaqing courage. He mustered up the courage to ask quietly, "Song Shuang, are you... are you avoiding me?"

Song Shuang instinctively opened her mouth to refute, but Wang Huaqiang didn't give her the chance.

"I know I'm stupid and can't read people's expressions. Even if people don't like me, I still keep trying to get close to them..."

"Who said that? Did someone bully you?" Song Shuang turned his head suddenly, anger rising. "They actually bullied others right under my nose. Tell me, who?"

"Give me a name. If I don't teach Jiang Qing a lesson, I won't be named Song."

The girl was so angry, but Wang Huaqiang suddenly laughed.

"You're still laughing!" Song Shuang stared at him fiercely, frowning, "Are you stupid? You're still laughing even when you're being bullied!"

Wang Huacheng asked in surprise: "Song Shuang, you don't hate me, do you?"

"Who said I hate..." Song Shuang suddenly realized that the person Wang Huazheng was talking about just now couldn't be her. When did she bully him? It was even more violent than the snow in June.

Wang Huaqi: "If you don't hate me, then why have you ignored me recently?"

"Really?" Upon hearing this, Song Shuang lowered his head and pretended to be busy, "You must be wrong."

Then again, what else could her surname be if not Song?

"You do." Wang Huaqiang pointed out her point directly.

"You haven't given me snacks recently, nor have you dragged me to the cafeteria to eat, nor have you secretly passed me notes in class, nor have you let me help you copy homework." The more he spoke, the more aggrieved he felt.

Song Shuang has changed and no longer likes him.

"Ah, you're talking about this," Song Shuang scratched his head awkwardly. "You refused to eat the snacks I gave you before, and you didn't go to the cafeteria to eat. Plus, I didn't want to interfere with your studies, so I didn't pass you any notes."

"Isn't this to reduce your burden? Don't be ungrateful." Song Shuang's voice became louder as he spoke.

"But I was like this before," Wang Huacheng said bluntly, "You never said you would reduce my burden before, why are you changing now?"

Song Shuang: "That's...that's because..."

Of course, it was after Jiang Qing said that she realized that she had taken the wrong path and could not go on.

If she wanted to change her relationship with Song Qing, she must first resolve the problem between herself and Wang Huaqiang.

She has been trying to restrain herself and change slowly, but recently it seems that she has restrained herself too much and hurt the other person instead.

Wang Huacheng said loudly, "I don't need it."

Song Shuang was stunned, "What?"

Wang Huaqi repeated, "I said I don't need it."

"I don't need to reduce the burden, I don't need to be kind," he said. "I want to copy homework, I want to copy notes."

Song Shuang never expected to hear such words, and the car fell into silence for a moment.

Wang Huaqiang regretted what he said, especially since Song Shuang stopped talking. His heart was beating up and down in his chest.

“Pah—”

The dome light in the car suddenly lit up. Song Shuang withdrew his hand from pressing the light button, turned around, and stared at the boy.

Her face was unusually serious.

"Wang Huacheng, I'm going to ask you a question. You must think carefully before answering."

Wang Huacheng was inspired by the girl's attitude and straightened his back. He promised, "If you ask, I will definitely answer you well."
