Chapter 149: Feeling Isolated from the World

It takes three or four people to hug the thick trunk. The bark is cracked like dragon scales, but it supports a tree full of flowers that look like waves of snow.

When the wind blew, the petals fluttered down and formed a soft white blanket on the ground.

Lu Yang asked Jian Yunxi to stand under the tree. He picked up the camera and took a classic photo of Jian Yunxi: the petals of the pear blossoms fell on Jian Yunxi's head and shoulders, and even a naughty petal fell on the corner of her mouth. His girl smiled like a flower.

As there were no villagers or tourists who could help take photos, Lu Yang placed his camera on the stone platform under the tree, set a time, and took a photo of the two of them under the 300-year-old pear tree: Lu Yang hugged Jian Yunxi tightly, while Jian Yunxi leaned on Lu Yang's shoulder, and both of them even showed their happiness in the smiles on their faces.

As the two were walking back, they accidentally entered a wild apricot forest. The apricot blossoms on the trees looked particularly gentle in the twilight.

"Lu Yang, this is such a pleasant surprise. This apricot forest is so beautiful. How come I didn't see it when I came here?"

"That's because we were always thinking about the three bluestones and were afraid of taking the wrong road, so we naturally ignored the scenery along the way."

"You talk like a great philosopher!"

A small stream can be vaguely seen in the depths of the apricot forest. The water is clear and the bottom is visible, shimmering with golden light in the setting sun.

The two walked along the stream, the grass under their feet was soft and moist. Lu Yang held Jian Yunxi's hand tightly, reminding Jian Yunxi to pay attention to the stones under his feet from time to time.

"Lu Yang, I suddenly feel that this place is really great, it feels isolated from the world!"

There was no cell phone signal, no city noise, and even no intrigues and scheming. At this moment, Jian Yunxi suddenly understood the purpose of Lu Yang bringing her here for a trip.

"Lu Yang." Jian Yunxi called him softly.

"Hmm?" He looked up, apricot blossoms falling in his hair.

Jian Yunxi reached out to brush away the petals for him, and her fingertips touched his warm earlobe: "Thank you for bringing me here."

"Silly Yunxi..."

Lu Yang's last words disappeared between their tightly pressed lips.

He held Jian Yunxi's face carefully and stroked her cheek gently with his thumb. Every time he kissed Jian Yunxi, Lu Yang cherished her as if he was touching a fragile treasure.

When the two returned to the Han family's yard, they found that other tourists had moved into the yard. The old lady greeted them warmly and said that they should go out for a bonfire party in the evening and watch the stars.

Jian Yunxi and Lu Yang smiled at each other and said in unison, "Okay!"
