The stall owner was an elderly lady with gray hair and reading glasses. She was sitting on a small stool and slowly knitting a scarf. When she saw them approaching, she raised her head and asked with a smile, "Little girl, do you have anything you like?"
Jian Yunxi came closer and gently fiddled with the hairpins on the umbrella. Each one was exquisitely crafted, with the wool tightly wound and soft. She picked up a light pink hairpin with a small pearl on it, which glowed warmly in the sun.
"This looks good." Lu Yang stood behind her, bending slightly, his chin almost resting on her shoulder, his warm breath brushing past her ears.
Jian Yunxi's ears felt hot, and she quickly put the hairpin back and picked up another sky blue one: "What about this one?"
“It looks good too.”
"What about this one?" She changed to a goose yellow one.
"They all look good." Lu Yang chuckled, "You look good in anything you wear."
Jian Yunxi blushed and stepped on him lightly, causing him to let out an exaggerated "hiss" in return.
The aunt looked at the two of them, smiling so much that her eyes curved into crescents: "Little girl, your boyfriend has good taste."
Jian Yunxi opened her mouth, but before she could think of how to answer, Lu Yang naturally answered, "Auntie, my girlfriend is a little shy."
"Who's shy!" Jian Yunxi glared at him, but couldn't hide the smile on his lips.
In the end, she picked a light pink hairpin with a small pompom. When Lu Yang paid, the aunt gave her an extra lavender one, saying it was "for the right person."
Jian Yunxi held the hairpin, hesitated for a moment, suddenly turned around, stood on tiptoe, and pinned the light pink hairpin on the collar of Lu Yang's shirt.
Lu Yang was stunned: "...Huh?"
"It's for you." She said with a smile, "How cute."
Lu Yang looked down at the furry thing on his chest, then looked at her cunning eyes, and suddenly reached out and gently pinched her cheek: "Okay, I'll wear it, and if others ask, I'll say that my girlfriend gave it to me. Are you jealous?"
"Okay, if you don't tell me it's just a puppy..."
"Then you are the puppy's girlfriend, woof woof woof..."
"Lu Yang, you!"
The two of them walked around until dusk before returning home. Mother Lu had gone to the gym to exercise. Seeing that no one was home, Lu Yang pulled Jian Yunxi over and kissed her.
"no."
"You need to make up for the kiss I just gave you in the living room."
Jian Yunxi just let him do it. After an unknown amount of time of kissing, Lu Yang hugged Jian Yunxi to calm his excitement.
"Yunxi, do you know? When you stand here, all I think about is our future together."
