When Jian Yunxi woke up again, she found herself sitting on a chair. Her head was not so dizzy anymore, but her left hand had no feeling. When she was about to raise her hand, she found that she was receiving an IV drip.
"Don't recover your health if you move around."
Jian Yunxi looked again and saw that it was her father, Comrade Jian Feng. He was holding a saline bottle under her arm. Jian Yunxi knew that her father was afraid that she would feel cold while on the IV, so he asked the nurse for the saline bottle and filled it with hot water to cover her arm. Jian Yunxi's nose was sore and she almost cried.
"Dad, where's my mom? I think I saw my mom just now."
Jian Yunxi recalled that this was indeed the time when he fainted in his senior year of high school.
It's quite dramatic. Comrade Jian Feng bought Jian Yunxi a new bicycle when she was in high school, but it was stolen just one day after she rode it. Later, he bought another one, which was also stolen.
Ms. Li Meiling said, "Don't buy a bicycle. I see there are electric bicycles on the market now. Let's buy one for Xixi."
In this way, Jian Yunxi owned the first electric bike among all her classmates in the school. Her classmates were also very curious and often asked her to borrow it to ride. However, the electric bike was lost again after borrowing it. Jian Yunxi was speechless. She was embarrassed to ask her classmates to compensate for it. Her parents also said that it was a good thing to lose money and avoid disaster, so they let the matter go.
It was her third year of high school and time was very tight. Jian Yunxi did not live on campus, so she got up at 5 o'clock every day, rode her bike to school, bought an egg pancake at the school gate, and went to the classroom for morning reading.
As the weather gradually got cooler, she stayed in bed and couldn't get out of bed, so she pestered Ms. Li Meiling to buy her a new electric bike. She had decided not to lend it to anyone this time. Unexpectedly, when she got up the next day, she found that the electric bike was gone, it had been stolen. What was worse was that the bicycle at home was also stolen.
Jian Yunxi discovered that her mother had not gotten up yet, so she hurried to wake up Ms. Li Meiling. The mother and daughter were now in the yard, stunned at the empty carport.
Jian Yunxi's sister Jian Yunxiao was in the first year of high school in the county next door and usually lived in the school. Her brother was in the third year of junior high school and was still sleeping at this time. After Jian Yunxi woke up her brother Jian Yunfang, the three of them were in a daze again. At this time, Jian Yunfang said, "Sister, it's already past seven o'clock, why don't you go to school?"
Jian Yunxi wanted to cry but had no tears. What she feared most was the discipline committee member of her class. He was very strict in doing things and would tell the teacher if the students were one minute late. The most important thing was that the punishment for being late was running, which she hated the most.
Ms. Li Meiling borrowed a bicycle from her neighbor and asked her to take Jian Yunxi to school. The bicycle was so old that it was shaky and Jian Yunxi was afraid it would fall apart while riding.
Finally she arrived at the school gate. There was no time for breakfast. She asked Jian Yunfang to park the car and ran to the classroom quickly. When she reached the door, she saw the discipline committee member glanced at her and said in a hateful tone: "Jian Yunxi, you are 30 minutes late. Go run for ten minutes during your lunch break today."
Jian Yunxi was not one to explain. She angrily threw her schoolbag on the table. Her deskmate Chen Shasha leaned over to comfort her, "Don't be angry. You know Song Mian is just like that. Look at how arrogant he is. He takes chicken feathers as an order. So, how come you, a thousand-year-old, are late today?"
Jian Yunxi was just about to tell Chen Shasha about his bizarre experience today, when he suddenly felt dizzy and wanted to vomit. "Shasha, I feel dizzy. Please accompany me to the toilet. I want to vomit."
Chen Shasha quickly helped Jian Yunxi up, "Song Mian, Xixi feels dizzy and wants to vomit, I'll help her out for a while."
Song Mian raised his eyelids and said, "Jian Yunxi, stop pretending. You were late today and you wanted to pretend to skip class. I really want to let the teacher see how a good student like you can be so sneaky."
"You!" Chen Shasha was so angry that she wanted to argue with Song Mian. She turned around and saw Jian Yunxi walking out by herself, leaning against the wall. She hurriedly followed him and said, "Song Mian, you pig! I'll settle the score with you when I come back!"
The classroom was right next to the stairs, and the toilet was at the corner of the first floor. Jian Yunxi's eyes were completely dark at this moment, and she seemed unable to stand steadily. She couldn't see where Chen Shasha was either. She could only hold on to the wall and try to touch the handrail of the stairs based on her memory. She finally touched the handrail, but heard Shasha shouting "Yunxi!" and then she lost consciousness.
In her daze, she seemed to see Ms. Li Meiling riding a bicycle past her, but she was not sure.
"Your mother was so scared that she cried when she received the call from the teacher. She quickly called me and asked me to come back from the county town. She didn't find you at school, and heard from your classmates that you were sent to the hospital by the teacher. As soon as she opened the door, she saw that your head was full of needles. She thought something happened to you and fainted. You are also on an IV drip now!"
Jian Yunxi twitched the corners of her mouth, wanting to laugh but feeling that she shouldn't. She looked at her father again, and it turned out that her father six years ago was still very young, just as she remembered.
"Xixi, come home after you finish the drip. I've asked your teacher for leave, so you can go home and rest for a few days."
Jian Yunxi nodded. She was feeling very confused and not mentally prepared for rebirth. She had to go home and think about it, as well as how to face it when she returned to school.
As she was thinking, she sighed again, "Xixi, where are you getting the IV drip?" She saw an old lady running and looking for her.
"Mom, Xixi is here. It's a good thing you're here. I'll go see how Meiling is doing."
Jian Yunxi watched her grandmother run towards her, holding her hand, touching her head, pinching her legs, and seeing another piece of dirt on her pants, she brushed it off vigorously, "Granddaughter, are you still in pain? Is your head still dizzy? Is your arm hurt? Is your leg okay?"
Hearing her grandmother's caring tone, Jian Yunxi couldn't help but burst into tears. Her grandmother was at a loss when she saw her crying. "My dear granddaughter, please don't cry. Grandma is so heartbroken. My dear granddaughter has suffered so much."
