Chapter 107: Didn’t you do anything excessive?

Chapter 107 Didn’t You Do Anything Excessive?

Yun Zheng placed her hands on Fu Linghe's chest, the muscles under her palms rising and falling slightly with her breathing, as if touching the undercurrents of the ocean.

She slightly widened the distance between them, the peach color still lingering at the corners of her eyes.

"I haven't eaten the little cake you bought me yesterday yet." The end of her voice swirled in the morning light, with the softness of someone who had just woken up from a hangover.

Fu Linghe scratched her red nose with his fingers, and the sandalwood cufflinks brushed against her hair, making a rustling sound.

"I just remembered to eat it now. Why didn't I eat it when I bought it yesterday?"

Yun Zheng lowered her eyes feeling guilty, not daring to look him in the eye again.

She was so full from being jealous yesterday that she had no room for cake.

Fu Linghe knew that his wife was shy, so he stopped teasing her.

He stood up first, and when he helped her stand up straight, his fingertips seemed to accidentally brush across her lower back, and Yun Zheng straightened her back as if she had been electrocuted.

"I put the cake in the refrigerator for you. Have breakfast first and I'll get it for you after you finish."

Yun Zheng nodded obediently.

Fu Linghe naturally took Yun Zheng's hand and went to the restaurant together.

The young couple sat next to each other, and Yun Zheng could meet Fu Linghe's fiery gaze as soon as she looked up.

"Last night... you picked me up." Yun Zheng bit her lower lip lightly and asked tentatively.

Fu Linghe raised the corners of his mouth slightly, a hint of mischief flashed in his eyes, and he teased her deliberately, "What's the matter, Madam, are you drunk?"

"Yeah." Yun Zheng nodded with a red face, and did not deny that she had blacked out due to drinking.

Now she only remembered going out for drinks with Cen Lian'an last night and ordering a room full of male models. She couldn't remember anything else.

Oh, no, male model!

If Fu Linghe went to pick her up, wouldn’t he have seen everything?

She probably just drank and didn't do anything excessive, right?

"Last night..." The porcelain spoon made a clear sound as it hit the edge of the bowl. Yun Zheng stared at the wolfberries floating on the surface of the porridge. "Were you the one who brought me back?"

Fu Linghe pushed over a plate of gilded bone china, with icing sugar piling up like a snowy top on the crepe. "Madam, you're a little too drunk."

He suddenly leaned forward, and the scent of pine wood enveloped him. "He also said he wanted to tattoo me with a toad's blood."

The silver fork clanged to the ground. The veins on the back of Yun Zheng's hand, where she clutched the tablecloth, shone faintly, and fragments of memory suddenly flashed through her mind.

I sat astride Fu Linghe's legs and tugged at his shirt. The crystal chandelier was shaking, and his gold-rimmed glasses were pushed up to the top of his head...

"I'm polite to others." Fu Linghe slowly wiped the milk foam from the corners of her lips, his fingertips lingering on her lips for half a second. "It was when you pulled my tie and said, 'I want this top brand for the whole year'..."

He suddenly grasped her trembling hand and pressed it against his neck. "Two buttons were pulled off."

Yun Zheng pulled her hand back as if she had been electrocuted, but he grabbed her ten fingers with his backhand.

The leather chair back pressed against her lower back. She watched Fu Linghe's Adam's apple slide in the morning light. "Mrs. Fu, would you like to check... the other buttons?"

The phone rang at this moment.

Yun Zheng's thoughts instantly returned to her senses and she quickly answered the phone.

Cen Li'an's nervous voice instantly pierced through the receiver, "Zheng Zheng, did Fu bully you last night?"

"No...no." Yun Zheng explained hurriedly, but caught a glimpse of Fu Linghe playing with the lost mother-of-pearl button with a triumphant smile on his face.

He just propped up his head and listened to her video call quietly, pushing the iced chestnut cake in front of her.

The wine-stained cherry embedded in the tip of the cream trembled slightly, just like the sweat bead between her collarbone that was about to fall when he leaned over her last night.

"Try it." He scooped up a spoonful and brought it to her lips. The silver spoon made a crisp sound on the porcelain bowl.

"Yesterday you said..." Warm breath suddenly brushed against my earlobe, "When you wanted to feed me cherries, you were much braver than you are now."

Yun Zheng's already rosy cheeks were now even redder than the wine-stained cherries in front of her.

Cen Li'an didn't hear Fu Linghe's words, but he noticed that Yun Zheng's face was red and something was wrong, so he asked with concern, "Zheng Zheng, why is your face so red? Did you catch a cold last night?

The copper bell by the window rang in the morning breeze. Yun Zheng felt the hair by her ear stirred by Fu Linghe's breath. "Do you have a fever?"

He deliberately got close to her and made a lot of noise.

"It's really okay!" Yun Zheng hurriedly pressed down her throbbing temples and replied to Cen Lian.

Fu Linghe's fingertips were drawing circles along her spine, and the tingling sensation spread from her tailbone to the top of her head.

"You drank too much last night and held Fu Linghe tightly, I couldn't help it." Cen Li'an's tone was filled with worry, "He didn't do anything to you, did he?"

Yun Zheng listened to Cen Lian'an's words and glanced at Fu Linghe in panic. She saw that he was staring at her with a mischievous look on his face, a smirk on his lips, and his hands did not stop moving. His fingertips were circling her spine, making her feel weak all over.

She took a deep breath and tried to make her voice sound calmer. "He...he really didn't do anything to me. He just brought me back and took care of me for one night."

Yun Zheng said this and immediately turned off the video camera, fearing that Fu Linghe would make some noise in front of Cen Lian'an.

"Zheng Zheng, why did you turn off the camera? I can't see you anymore." Cen Lian on the other end of the phone spoke anxiously.

"The signal isn't very good, let's just make a voice call." Yun Zheng's voice carried a hint of guilt.

Fu Linghe wanted to tease his wife as she tried to hide her guilt. He leaned close to her ear and whispered in a voice only the two of them could hear, "You really didn't do anything? Madam, think about it carefully. You did a lot of things to me last night that you shouldn't have done."

Yun Zheng's face flushed instantly. She elbowed Fu Linghe hard on the waist and warned him in a low voice, "Don't talk nonsense!"

Cen Lian said suspiciously on the other end of the phone, "That's not right, Zheng Zheng, why do you sound so guilty? Don't hide it from me, if he bullies you, I will go and settle the score with him right now!"

Upon hearing this, Fu Linghe reached out and took the phone from Yun Zheng's hand, and smiled heartily into the receiver: "Ms. Cen, don't worry. I love Yun Zheng so much, how could I bully her?"

When Cen Li'an heard Fu Linghe's voice, he was like a cat with its fur standing on end. "Yun Zheng, Fu Linghe is by your side."

Yun Zheng glanced at Fu Linghe and could only answer truthfully, "Yes, he's here."

"Yun Zheng, I think you've forgotten the pain after the wound healed, right? Didn't you see him carrying you on his back and shopping with another woman yesterday?"

Cen Lian'an's voice was filled with anxiety and anger, and the volume unconsciously rose, and the sound coming from the receiver was a bit sharp.

Fu Linghe's smile froze for a moment, then returned to normal. He spoke calmly, "Ms. Cen, you misunderstood. That's my aunt..."

Cen Li'an snorted coldly, clearly not being easily persuaded. "Aunt? Do you think I'm a three-year-old kid who can just make up an excuse to get away with it? How can an aunt go shopping hand in hand with her nephew? And look carefully at the age of the woman in the photo. It's far-fetched to say she's your sister, let alone your aunt."

She spoke sharply and questioned him in a barrage of questions.

Yun Zheng listened to the conversation between the two and felt anxious and confused.

She quickly grabbed the phone and explained anxiously, "An An, it's true! I just met my aunt."
