Chapter 3 I have the final say in the Fu family!

Yun Zheng's eyebrows furrowed slightly, her mind a jumble of thoughts. After pondering for a moment, she slowly shook her head, "It's certainly not illegal, but this is a serious matter, marriage. How can we treat it as a joke?"

There was a hint of confusion and uneasiness in her eyes, and she was at a loss at the sudden proposal.

Fu Linghe leaned forward slightly, his deep gaze like stars in the cold night, staring directly into Yun Zheng's eyes firmly. "Miss Yun, for me, this is the most effective way to resolve the current dilemma."

His voice was low and steady, full of seduction and carrying an irresistible power.

"Of course, Miss Yun, marrying me will also benefit you."

Fu Linghe raised his chin slightly, with a hint of pride in his eyes, "Marry me and you will be Mrs. Fu in full legal standing. I will be your backer, and no one will be able to bully you."

Fu Linghe lowered his head slightly, and his slender fingers slowly adjusted his cufflinks. The exquisite cufflinks gleamed faintly at his fingertips.

He lowered his eyes to hide the complex emotions in his eyes. After a moment, he spoke again, his voice calm and steady, "After marriage, all the properties under my name will become our joint property. You have the right to control and enjoy them according to the law. Even if we divorce, you can get half of my property."

Yun Zheng felt her heart was in a mess and her mind was blank. She didn't know how to respond to Fu Linghe's surprising proposal.

Like a helpless little deer, she fell straight back onto the bed, pulled up the quilt, buried her head deeply in it, and briefly escaped from this upsetting reality.

The news that Fu Linghe was going to marry her was like pie in the sky, but why did this pie fall on her head?

She thought she must have drunk too much last night and was still not sober, so she was hallucinating.

After all, the story of the prince and Cinderella only exists in fairy tales, and she is just a fake daughter who was mistakenly adopted by the Yun family. How could such a good thing happen to her?

Yun Zheng curled up in the quilt, her heart like a dead leaf in the wind, surging up and down, unable to calm down.

She tried to calm herself down, but Fu Linghe's infuriatingly handsome face and the seductive teeth mark on his collarbone kept appearing involuntarily in her mind.

God damn it! What is going on in my head every day?

The room was filled with silence, as if time had stood still.

It was unknown how long it had passed before Fu Linghe's magnetic voice rang out in Yun Zheng's ears again, "Drink some hangover soup first and then think about it slowly. I'm not in a hurry."

His tone was gentle, as if he was soothing a frightened kitten.

Fu Linghe gently reached out and pulled Yun Zheng's quilt. His movements were cautious and his gentle tone was like poison wrapped in sugar, inexplicably addictive.

Yun Zheng hesitated for a moment, then gently pulled down the quilt, revealing only her innocent big eyes as she looked at Fu Linghe, with a hint of confusion still lingering in her eyes.

Fu Linghe raised the corners of his lips slightly, revealing a beautiful arc, and was the first to break the silence, "You don't have to rush to reply to me, take your time to think about it, I have plenty of time."

As he spoke, he placed the hangover soup on the bedside cabinet and pointed to the end of the bed. "There are clothes in the bag. Change first and drink the hangover soup. Then we can talk slowly."

After saying that, he turned and walked out of the master bedroom, closing the door behind him in one smooth motion.

After seeing the door closed, Yun Zheng endured the pain in her body and slowly crawled to the end of the bed to pick up the exquisite bag of clothes.

She opened the bag and took out the clothes.

The moment she saw the cheongsam, Yun Zheng was stunned for a moment. This cheongsam was not a traditional style, but a modified cheongsam in the new Chinese style. The fabric was xiangyunsha, which was cool and soft to the touch and very comfortable.

When she put on the cheongsam, she found that it fit her perfectly as if it were custom-made.

Yun Zheng was secretly amazed. It was no exaggeration to say that not only did Fu Linghe's face and figure suit her aesthetic taste, but even his taste in clothes was so consistent with hers.

Yun Zheng picked up the hangover soup and took a sip. The warm liquid flowed down her throat, making her confused mind a little clearer.

She began to seriously consider Fu Linghe's proposal.

The conditions proposed by Fu Linghe were indeed very tempting and no normal person could refuse them.

Everyone in the Yun family is now obsessed with Yun Ruzhu and has no room for Yun Zheng. They have already done their best by not kicking her out immediately.

As for the Zhou family, their attitude was very clear. They just wanted Zhou Yushen to marry the real daughter of the Yun family.

She had completely broken up with Zhou Yushen last night, and now she was alone and lonely.

No matter how miserable it is to marry Fu Linghe, it can't be worse than it is now, right?

Yun Zheng paced around the room and thought for a moment, then took a deep breath, mustered up the courage, opened the door and walked out.

Fu Linghe stood upright in front of the floor-to-ceiling window with his back to Yun Zheng. The sunlight shone on him, as if it had covered him with a layer of golden gauze.

He was wearing a simple white shirt with a slim fit. The fabric fit his chest and arms, revealing the outline of his muscles. The suit pants he wore had clean lines and fell along his straight and slender legs, making his posture look more upright.

The sunlight penetrated the thin shirt, casting a warm yellow on his back and waist, instantly highlighting the perfect proportion of broad shoulders and narrow waist. The haziness between light and dark was like a stirring string sound, quietly inducing endless reverie.

The slight noise made by Yun Zheng when she opened the door fell into Fu Linghe's ears. He turned around and his eyes instantly met Yun Zheng's slightly infatuated gaze.

The moment Fu Linghe saw her, a barely perceptible ripple appeared in his deep eyes, and something seemed to be gently touched in his heart.

He quickly came back to his senses, and a charming smile appeared on the corner of his lips. "You came out so quickly, it seems you have thought it through?"

Yun Zheng didn't deny it. She raised her head slightly, looked directly into Fu Linghe's eyes, and asked, "Why me? There are so many people who want to marry you. I'm not your best choice. To put it bluntly, I might even be the worst choice."

Fu Linghe walked slowly towards Yun Zheng, with calmness and confidence in every step.

He walked over to Yun Zheng and stood still, lowering his head slightly. The distance between them instantly shortened, and his breath gently brushed Yun Zheng's ears. "You are right, but our marriage is not just to solve my predicament."

He paused deliberately to whet Yun Zheng's appetite.

Yun Zheng's heart tightened as she waited quietly for his next words.

Fu Linghe's lips curled slightly, "It's also because Miss Yun has to take responsibility for what happened last night! I have a serious emotional mysophobia, and I'm not clean anymore. You are not responsible, and you want my Fu family to be extinct."

Yun Zheng paused slightly, a blush appearing on her face. She couldn't afford to bear this crime.

Although it was true that she was the one who took the initiative last night, in her opinion, wasn't it always the girls who suffered the most in such matters?

She was still somewhat unconvinced in her heart, "Mr. Fu, no matter what, I am just a weak woman. Even if I take the initiative to do something to you, if you refuse to obey, I will be unable to do anything to you, right?"

A trace of imperceptible surprise flashed across Fu Linghe's deep eyes, and he secretly praised in his heart, thinking that this woman was worthy of being the one he liked, and she was indeed very smart!

He looked at Yun Zheng, a playful smile on his face. "Okay, then even if we each bear half the responsibility, we both need to be responsible for each other, so the best solution is to get married."

After hearing what he said, Yun Zheng felt that something was wrong, but she couldn't put her finger on it.

It feels like I sold myself without knowing it and was foolishly counting money for others.

Fu Linghe narrowed his eyes slightly, with a hint of inquiry, but there was a faint smile at the corner of his mouth.

He moved a little closer to her, and the faint woody scent on his body quietly lingered around Yun Zheng, making her heart beat faster.

"If I'm not mistaken, Miss Yun went to the bar to get drunk last night because she was heartbroken, right? Then you should be single now."

He paused, his eyes fixed on Yun Zheng's, as if he wanted to see through her heart.

Then, he straightened up, folding his hands elegantly in front of him. A hint of anticipation flashed in his eyes, and his tone rose slightly. "You're single, and I'm single too. We'd be a perfect couple, wouldn't we? Or does Miss Yun have any other concerns?"

He tilted his head slightly, a questioning look in his eyes.

Yun Zheng's small hands tightly grasped the corner of her clothes, and her fingers turned slightly white due to the force.

She bit her lower lip and hesitated for a moment, with a hint of worry in her eyes, "I'm not the real Miss Yun. Marrying me... won't your family object?"

Fu Linghe's dark eyes were slightly startled, obviously he didn't expect her to ask this question.

He was silent for a moment, then he raised his head slightly, and when he spoke, his tone was full of arrogance, "I have the final say in the Fu family!"
