Chapter 430 He is like you, emotionally stable

The sun gradually sets in the west, and the master bedroom is quiet.

Fu Linghe woke up first. Just as he was about to get up, Yun Zheng suddenly opened her eyes and asked, "Is the baby crying?"

Fu Linghe held her shoulders and said, "No, they are still sleeping." He kissed her forehead gently and said, "You should sleep a little longer."

Yun Zheng shook her head, threw back the quilt and got out of bed. "Little Yunshu needs to be fed. She'll be waking up by now."

Sure enough, as soon as she reached the door of the baby's room, she heard little Yunshu's subtle humming.

Before the confinement nanny could react, Yun Zheng had already quickly walked to the crib and picked up her daughter.

"Mommy is here, baby, you're hungry, right?"

Yun Zheng skillfully unbuttoned the front of her pajamas, and little Yun Shu instinctively searched for her nipple, eagerly put it in her little mouth, and began to suck hard.

When Fu Linghe followed in, he saw his wife sitting in a rocking chair, looking down at their daughter in her arms, her eyes so gentle that tears could drip from them.

The sunlight shone through the gauze curtains onto her, outlining a soft outline.

"How do you know she's awake?" Fu Linghe asked softly, squatting beside the rocking chair and gently stroking his daughter's little face.

Yun Zheng smiled and said, "All mothers are like this. They can sense any movement of their children."

She frowned and adjusted her posture. "This little girl is really strong."

Fu Linghe noticed the flash of pain between her eyebrows, "Is the skin broken again?"

"It's okay." Yun Zheng said casually, but her feeding posture was obviously a little stiff.

In the crib on the other side, little Yunyi also woke up and was quietly playing with his fingers.

Fu Linghe picked up his son and checked his diaper. "This kid is easy to take care of. He doesn't make a fuss even when he wakes up."

"He's like you, emotionally stable." Yun Zheng looked at the father and son tenderly, "But it's time to feed him soon. Go warm up the breast milk in the refrigerator first."

Little Yunshu ate so quickly that he started burping after a while.

Yun Zheng patted her back gently. The little girl squinted her eyes in satisfaction, and her little hands unconsciously grabbed her mother's clothes.

"Change side?" Fu Linghe asked, having already prepared a clean nursing towel.

Yun Zheng nodded and carefully adjusted her posture.

When they switched sides, Fu Linghe saw that her chest was obviously red and swollen, and his brows immediately frowned. "Is it inflamed again?"

"It's just a little milk blockage." Yun Zheng said lightly, "A warm compress will be fine."

Fu Linghe didn't say anything, but just kissed the top of her head with heartache.

He knew Yun Zheng's determination to breastfeed. Even though the doctor said her milk might not be enough for the twins, and even though she broke out in sweat in pain after each breastfeeding, she never complained.

After little Yunshu had eaten her fill, Yun Zheng handed her to Fu Linghe to burp her, and then she took over her son and started feeding the other side.

The way little Yunyi sucked milk was completely different from her sister. She sucked slowly and would stop from time to time to smile at her mother.

"This kid doesn't eat much." Yun Zheng looked at her son with some concern. "Is it because I don't have enough milk?"

Fu Linghe held his hiccuping daughter in one hand and placed his other hand soothingly on his wife's shoulder. "The doctor said his weight gain is normal, don't worry. I'll make him some milk powder later."

After feeding the two children, Yun Zheng was obviously relieved, but her face was a little pale.

Fu Linghe noticed that she was secretly rubbing her lower back, and immediately put the two children back into the crib and helped her stand up.

"Go lie down for a while, I'll watch them." His tone left no room for refusal.

Yun Zheng shook her head, "I'll need it later..."

"Zheng Zheng." Fu Linghe interrupted her, his voice gentle but firm, "They are all full. I'll just watch over them. You go and rest, good boy!"

Yun Zheng opened her mouth to retort, but suddenly felt dizzy and had to hold onto the railing of the crib.

Fu Linghe picked her up without saying a word and carried her back to the bed in the master bedroom.

"I'll get you some hot towels and some anti-inflammatory medicine." He tucked her in, "Don't get up."

Yun Zheng nodded weakly and closed her eyes.

Fu Linghe stood by the bed and looked at her for a while, his chest tightening with heartache.

Ever since giving birth, Yun Zheng has been like a woman with radar. No matter how tired she is, she will wake up immediately as soon as the baby hums.

The stress of breastfeeding twins left her rarely getting more than four hours of sleep at a stretch.

He tiptoed out of the room and happened to meet the confinement nanny who came over with hot tea. "Sir, I made some tongcao tea for Madam. It's good for the mammary glands."

Fu Linghe took the tea tray and said, "Thank you. The two children have just been fed. Please take care of them. I will go take care of the lady."

When I returned to the master bedroom, Yun Zheng was already half-sitting and flipping through her phone.

Fu Linghe handed her the tea and asked, "What are you looking at so seriously?"

"Breastfeeding forum." Yun Zheng frowned. "Someone said lecithin can relieve milk blockage..."

Fu Linghe took her phone and said, "I've contacted the best lactation consultant and she'll come to my house tomorrow morning."

He paused. "Now, drink this tea and go to sleep."

Yun Zheng drank her tea obediently, and as she lay down, she couldn't help but ask, "Xiao Shu and Xiao Yi..."

"The confinement nanny is watching over us. She'll call us if anything happens." Fu Linghe lay beside her and held her in his arms. "Go to sleep, just for an hour."

Yun Zheng curled up in his arms and finally relaxed.

Fu Linghe patted her back gently, coaxing her to sleep like a child.

In less than five minutes, her breathing became even and long.

Fu Linghe got up carefully and returned to the baby room.

Both children were awake, and the confinement nanny was holding little Yunyi and playing with her.

"Let me do it." Fu Linghe took his son over. "You ask the chef to prepare dinner. It should be light. Madam needs to replenish her nutrition."

After the confinement nanny left, Fu Linghe held her son in one hand and gently rocked her daughter's crib with the other.

Little Yunshu looked at his father and kicked his calves happily.

"You two little rascals," Fu Linghe said softly, "you've exhausted your mother."

Little Yunyi seemed to understand, and suddenly pouted, looking like he was about to cry.

Fu Linghe quickly comforted him, "Dad doesn't blame you."

He kissed his son's little face and said, "Mom loves you too much and can't bear to let you two only eat milk powder."

Little Yunshu babbled in baby talk and stretched out his little hands towards his father.

Fu Linghe picked up his daughter as well, and sat them on each side of the rocking chair.

The two little guys were surprisingly quiet, as if they were understanding their parents' hard work.

An hour later, Yun Zheng was awakened again and sat up suddenly, "Baby!"

She rushed to the baby room and saw Fu Linghe holding two children and reading a colorful cloth book.

The sunlight shone through the window onto the three of them, and the scene was so warm that it made her eyes warm.

"Awake?" Fu Linghe looked up and smiled. "Just in time, these two little guys are hungry again."

Yun Zheng walked over and took her daughter. This time breastfeeding was obviously much smoother and the pain was much less.

She glanced at her husband with gratitude, knowing that he had done something while she slept.

"Hot compress and massage." Fu Linghe said casually, "My confinement nanny taught me."

Yun Zheng looked down at her daughter in her arms, and suddenly a tear fell on little Yun Shu's face.

The little one blinked in confusion, let go of the nipple and looked at his mother.

"What's wrong?" Fu Linghe immediately became nervous. "Does it hurt again?"

Yun Zheng shook her head, her voice choking with sobs. "No, I just feel so happy."

Fu Linghe put his son in the crib, walked over, knelt on one knee in front of his wife, and gently wiped away her tears. "Zhengzheng, you are an amazing mother."

After little Yunshu had eaten her fill, she yawned contentedly. Yun Zheng handed her over to Fu Linghe and prepared to feed her son.

This time, the breastfeeding process went much more smoothly. Little Yunyi ate quietly and touched his mother's face with his little hands from time to time. The angel baby was so cute!
