Xiong Nai, however, dismissed it, saying, "What's there to apologize for? They're just cold-blooded snake beastmen. It's not the first time they've stolen things. Who knows if the red earth fruits they have are stolen from someone else?"
Xiong Nai's contemptuous tone made Si Yan very uncomfortable. She turned to look at her two little ones and saw that Xi Qing and Bei Ji's lips were pursed into a line, looking aggrieved and stubborn.
Si Yan said angrily, "You're a grown female, after all. You accused those two kids of stealing, and after proving they didn't, you're so shameless that you didn't even apologize?!"
Xiong Nai: "I'm not apologizing! Anyway, if they didn't steal from me, they stole from someone else. Look, they're not saying a word!"
Si Yan said with a dark face, "You really aren't going to apologize?"
Xiong Nai stubbornly insisted, "I won't apologize! I absolutely will not apologize to the cold-blooded serpent beastman!"
Si Yan laughed in exasperation. She'd settle things with orc methods! She declared directly, "If you don't apologize, I'll beat you up!"
After saying that, Si Yan really pounced on Xiong Nai and started fighting. Xiong Nai was taller and stronger than Si Yan, but for some reason, she just couldn't beat Si Yan.
Si Yan beat Xiong Nai until his face was bruised and swollen, and her ferocity frightened the four bear cubs standing nearby.
After beating them up, Si Yan pulled Xiong Nai in front of the two children. Xi Qing and Bei Ji looked at her with complicated expressions.
"Apologize!" Si Yan said coldly.
Xiong Nai felt very wronged because all the red berries she had painstakingly dug up today were gone, and she even got a severe beating.
Si Yan: "I'll make you apologize!"
Driven to the brink, Xiong Nai quickly shouted "I'm sorry," then turned and ran away crying.
