Bang--
A loud bang.
The enormous female Wildflower, however, resembled an angry bird, flying from one place to the other.
"..."
The beastmen of the Green Sand Tribe fell silent.
Si Yan was also a little confused. She looked at her fist.
When I fought those beasts before, I only felt that I was relatively strong, but I never expected that I was this strong.
With that much strength, what's there to be afraid of?
She can probably open all the doors to the Zoldyck family now!
Si Yan suddenly became arrogant, feeling invincible. She even thought she could punch that male named Wang away with a single blow.
The male and female beastmen of the Green Sand Tribe were speechless.
They even developed a sense of awe towards Si Yan.
In the Beast World, most orcs have a mentality of admiring the strong; the stronger the orc, the higher their status.
Moreover, the one in front of us is only a female.
"That's unreasonable."
A female lizard stared intently at Si Yan with bright, sparkling eyes.
"It doesn't make sense, but he's so handsome."
The orcs dispersed.
But the female lizard did not leave.
Si Yan led her two children in practicing Tai Chi to exercise, while the two children, one big and two small, began to draw watermelons in a disciplined manner.
After completing a round of Tai Chi, the female lizard still did not leave.
So Si Yan performed another set of Eight Pieces of Brocade on the spot.
The group of one adult and two children performed the Eight Pieces of Brocade very well.
Even after I finished performing a section of the Eight Pieces of Brocade, the female lizard still didn't leave.
So Si Yan stepped forward and asked, "Is there anything else?"
The female lizard shook her head.
Si Yan was just about to leave.
The female lizard said, "Siyan, would you like to take a look around the tribe? I'll show you around."
The female lizard was named Qiu Mei, a cheerful girl. After Si Yan learned that the other's animal form was a lizard, she glanced at her a few more times.
I'm not sure if I'm remembering correctly, but lizards are cold-blooded animals, right?
She remembered that Wang had said he was a cold-blooded animal, and the place where she met him was not far from the Green Sand Tribe.
So, is Wang a lizard beastman?
Si Yan immediately imagined a very cute little purple lizard in her mind.
So cute!
Her face flushed slightly.
Si Yan felt she had figured out the truth, and therefore smiled at Qiu Mei.
"What's that noise over there?" Si Yan asked, pointing in a direction.
After looking around, Qiu Mei replied, "That's the cave of our tribe's shaman. This noise might be... the noise of the cat demon."
"Nekota?"
Qiu Mei: "The cat is a female sand cat."
"A cat?" Si Yan's eyes lit up.
She loves these fluffy little animals.
If a cat were to become a human, and a female at that, she would surely be a captivating and alluring woman.
"I want to see it! Take me there quickly!" Si Yan said excitedly.
Qiu Mei led Si Yan to the entrance of the witch doctor's cave, where they saw a young female, about ten years old, with her back exposed.
An elderly female was scraping her back with a black stone.
The young female's back was covered with red welts.
Her figure was completely different from Huang Ying's; she was slender and had smooth lines. She resembled Si Yan somewhat.
The witch doctor appeared to be performing gua sha on the little female.
Qiu Mei said, "The cat is thin and small, malnourished and not very healthy. But she has a particularly fiery temper and will get angry and fight at the slightest provocation. She is somewhat atavistic, with sharp and long nails that scratch people and hurt a lot. The males in the tribe don't like her; she is a female that no male wants."
Si Yan was puzzled. While secretly peeking at the little female inside the cave, she asked, "Even Huang Ying is a heartthrob, so why isn't this little cutie liked by the males?"
Qiu Mei looked at Si Yan as if she were an idiot. "In the desert, the most important thing is to survive. Look at the size of this cat, how many meals can it go hungry?"
She crossed her arms and said, “Females who tend to store fat are more likely to survive in this food-scarce desert. Males prefer to mate with fat females, because their survival depends on the females' survival. If the female dies, the contracted male will suffer a severe blow.”
Si Yan suddenly remembered that she seemed to have heard in college that the reason why modern people are prone to obesity is because in the long history of ancient times, disasters helped humans to carry out countless gene selections. Those who were fat survived, so the genes that made them prone to obesity were preserved.
Qiu Mei said softly, "Cat didn't have any males to take her, so she ended up picking up a desert wolf with a broken leg. That wolf was incredibly fierce, and the leader, Huang Jiang, repeatedly told Cat to banish the little wolf, but Cat wouldn't allow it. She kept that crippled little wolf as her mate."
"But she herself was already struggling to survive, and she had a cripple who was even more struggling to survive. The tribe had a problem with the cat, and after a meeting, the tribe decided that if the cat was unwilling to exile the wolf cub, they would cut off the cat's food."
As Qiu Mei spoke, a hint of envy appeared in her eyes.
"Guess what? The cat didn't abandon the crippled wolf. She bravely went out hunting on her own and managed to raise herself and the wolf."
The story of the cat deeply attracted Si Yan, Wu Xie, and Wu Yang.
Three pairs of curious eyes looked at Qiu Mei.
"Aunt Qiu, what happened next?" Wu Xie's eyes sparkled.
Qiu Mei patted Wu Xie's little head: "You call Si Yan 'sister,' but you call me 'auntie.' Does that make me sound old?"
Wu Xie shook her head, her chubby pink face making her very cute.
Qiu Mei said, "The cat has a bad temper and often quarrels with the little wolf, but even so, the cat still brings water and meat to the cave for the little wolf to eat. But..."
A hint of regret flashed in Qiu Mei's eyes. "Perhaps it was because the cat was too thin and small, and had a bad temper, so the little wolf ran away after it recovered from its injuries."
Si Yan and Wu Xie were both taken aback.
Qiu Mei: "Even if she's crippled, I don't want Nekomaru. Nekomaru is devastated. She often runs into the desert, supposedly to find Little Wolf. But how could that ungrateful wolf let her find him? She always comes back alone, covered in wounds."
Si Yan looked at the female sand cat in the cave with some sympathy, but at that moment, the female sand cat glared back fiercely.
For a fleeting moment when their eyes met, Si Yan was somewhat surprised.
Anger flashed in the eyes of the female before him.
However, beyond this anger, Si Yan also saw strength, resilience, indomitable spirit, and courage within it.
Those eyes... typical of a cat.
"Qiu-mei, if you're going to talk badly about someone behind their back, then say it to my face!"
She straightened up slightly and stepped forward, revealing a large expanse of her cleavage.
The cat seemed to sense the coolness on her chest, and feeling a little uncomfortable, she grabbed a piece of animal skin and wrapped it around her chest.
She straightened up, sat cross-legged, and frowned, saying, "It wasn't that Little Wolf abandoned me; it was that I didn't want Little Wolf."
Qiu Mei said, "Don't lie to me. With your habit of putting the best meat in his bowl every day, who would believe you don't want Little Wolf?"
The cat angrily retorted, "I don't want to keep it anymore, no way!"
