Qiu Mei: "Si Yan, don't pay attention to her. Cat is just a sand cat that's always getting angry."
The cat glared fiercely at Qiu Mei again, and then she sneezed.
The shaman grabbed a handful of medicine and handed it to the cat, saying, "You've caught a cold, and you're still not calm. Catching a cold in this hot weather will make you feel terrible."
The cat lowered its head and whispered, "Thank you, Aunt Yang."
Si Yan actually found ginger in the medicine.
Is it really ginger?
I'm not sure, I'll think about it some more.
Si Yan: "May I take a look at this medicine?"
The cat looked at Si Yan with confusion, then quickly handed her the medicine.
Si Yan took the medicinal herbs. She saw not only ginger, but also dried red peppers.
The witch doctor, Aunt Yang, laughed and said, "These are all things that ward off the cold; you can just boil them and drink them."
The cat frowned again. "It doesn't taste good. I'm biting my lip."
Aunt Yang tapped her on the head: "These are all precious medicines. No matter how good or bad they taste, you have to finish them."
The cat sat there innocently, appearing very obedient to the witch doctor. "I understand."
After saying that, she snatched the medicine from Si Yan and hugged it to her chest. She was very agile and disappeared in the blink of an eye.
Si Yan was very interested in the medicinal herbs at the shaman's place. "Aunt Yang, may I take a look at the medicinal herbs here?"
The shaman nodded, and Si Yan discovered some pleasant surprises among the medicinal herbs filling the room.
A string of garlic hanging by the door, dried red peppers laid out to dry, and pieces of ginger...
Si Yan and her two children looked at these precious treasures with the joy of discovering some priceless gems.
The sight of the six children, one big and two small, with their eyes shining, truly amused the witch doctor. She laughed and said, "If you like them, I'll give you some."
Si Yan became reserved. "That's so embarrassing. I... I'll find something to replace it for you."
As soon as she finished speaking, Si Yan ran back to her cave, grabbed her backpack, and opened it.
"I have some snacks here, do you want some?"
Qiu Mei and the witch doctor looked at her bag with curiosity.
Wu Xie and Wu Yang immediately became anxious. They protected Si Yan's bag and nudged it.
Wu Xie: "Sister, we can wait for Uncle Wang to hunt some prey to exchange for it. The things in here are too precious, don't take them out."
Wu Yang was also very eager: "Mmm."
These are all their precious snacks, very, very precious.
Si Yan: "But I can't just take Wang's prey for free."
Wu Xie: "You can take it, you can take it!"
Wu Yang: "Mmm!"
The way Wuxie and Wuyang guarded their food amused the females there, and the witch doctor didn't make things difficult for them. She grabbed a handful of ginger, dried chili peppers, and garlic, saying, "No need to exchange, these are for you."
Holding the gift from the witch doctor, Si Yan felt the kindness of this world, and her face flushed slightly.
Just then, a commotion broke out in the village. Qiu Mei ran out, and Si Yan and the others followed to see what was going on.
Outside, orcs were shouting, "The sand monster has appeared! Quick, quick, adult male orcs, come with me and drive the sand monster away!"
Then, tall male orcs came running out from all directions of the village. The orcs transformed into their animal forms and ran after them.
Qiu Mei said, "The sand monster is back again. It's been appearing so frequently lately."
Before Si Yan could even find out what a sand monster was, she suddenly saw a small, agile little fellow following her out of the village.
“The cat has gone out again,” Si Yan said.
Qiu Mei scoffed: "She goes every time. After all, there's a chance she might see Little Wolf."
Si Yan was a little curious, so she asked, "Can we take a look from a distance?"
Qiu Mei's eyes lit up, and she grabbed her hand, pulling her along, "Of course. Let's go."
The Green Sand Tribe was not far from the desert. Si Yan led her two cubs to the vicinity of the battlefield but did not dare to approach. When she watched the males of the beast world fight desperately to protect the females and their cubs, even though she knew that these males might not win, she felt a strange sense of security towards the males of this world.
There's a kind of heroic spirit in it: "If I live, everyone else can live. If anything happens to the elderly woman or the children, it's only my death that matters."
Wu Xie pointed to a small figure: "Sister, look! That's Sister Nekota!"
Si Yan and Qiu Mei followed and looked over. Not far ahead, the cat was hiding behind a tree, gritting its teeth as it watched the battle unfold.
Si Yan asked, "What kind of monster is that?"
Qiu Mei: "You mean the Sand Monster? You don't even know that?"
Si Yan shook her head.
Qiu Mei explained: "These are spirits and monsters formed from the natural elements of the beast world. There are water monsters in the ocean, and sand monsters in the desert."
Si Yan seemed to understand, but not quite.
Qiu Mei pointed to a person and said, "Look at that one, that little guy, that's Little Wolf."
Si Yan followed Qiu Mei's gaze and saw two males there. One had silver hair standing on end, and his eyes were also silver, mysterious and brilliant like the Milky Way. He was handsome and tall.
A boy who looked like he was only a teenager had fierce eyes and was hunched over, ready to attack at any moment.
Wu Xie and Wu Yang's eyes lit up instantly, "Uncle Tyson! It's Uncle Tyson!!"
Tyson?
Si Yan turned around and asked, "Do you know each other?"
Wu Xie and Wu Yang nodded frantically.
Wu Yang: "Uncle Tyson is our mother's guardian spirit, he's family."
Wu Xie smiled, her eyes crinkling. She really liked the fluffy Tyson, or rather, all six of them really liked Tyson.
"Sister, there's nothing to be afraid of with Uncle Tyson around. He's very strong."
