Chapter 11 Witnessing Death

Xuan moved quickly through the tribe. He was covered in black and was small in stature, making him inconspicuous in the tribe full of wild beasts and adult orcs.

He knew that running out was a very risky move, but he also knew that all the sub-beasts and cubs who were escorted back were escorted to a safe place because they happened to meet orcs who were not entangled by wild beasts.

In such a chaotic situation, no orcs would go out of their way to look for the sub-beasts and cubs scattered throughout the tribe, nor would they have the time to do so.

Father Beast and Uncle Yang are not here. If I don’t come to find them, no one will go out of their way to look for them.

He also has confidence in himself. Since he started training at the age of 4, he has clearly realized that he is much stronger than the orcs of the same age.

Xuan ran quickly along the shade of the trees and the shadows of the ruins. The smells were so mixed that he could only see with his naked eyes.

He avoided the wild beast and ran back to his home first.

There was no trace of Chiye left in the house.

They are not at home!

He immediately turned around and ran towards Yanghe Chiye's home, which was closer to the outside of the tribe.

It is also the closest place to the invasion of wild beasts!

If An An and Chi Ye were there, then...

Xuan didn't dare to think further.

He carefully avoided the orcs and beasts, crossed the square from the side, and headed straight for Chiye's home.

When he arrived, he saw a mess. Chiye's house had been ravaged by wild beasts.

Instantly, he felt his limbs freezing cold, as if his blood had frozen. He immediately ran inside, but he didn't see Chi Ye and An An inside, and fortunately, there was no trace of their blood either.

He carefully distinguished the smell, and soon he locked on a direction.

He ran in that direction, and several times wild animals discovered him along the way, but he used his familiarity with the terrain to shake them off.

For a 12-year-old orc, if they are discovered by a wild beast, it will be difficult for the beast to keep them as long as they want to run away. And Xuan, his strength is about the same as that of a 12-year-old orc.

Xuan followed the scent of Chi Ye and An An, but before he got far, the scent was covered by the thick smell of wild beasts and orc blood. A large-scale fight had taken place here, and the smell was so complex that he could not distinguish it.

Xuan hid under the ruins and looked around anxiously. There were too many wild beasts and orcs nearby. If he went further, he would be at the main battlefield.

If he ran over rashly, he would be in danger. He was so anxious that he scratched his head and tried to find a solution.

Finally, the orcs who went out hunting came back.

Their roars shook the sky, filled with endless rage, as if they were going to tear the sky apart.

When the orcs who were still fighting in the tribe heard this, they felt like they had been given a shot of adrenaline and roared in response, many of which were more childish than those of adult orcs.

Xuan knew that they would be safe soon. All the orcs who had gone out had returned, and he became even braver.

It would take time to clear out all the beasts, so he decided to continue looking for them and protecting them. He could fight with the beasts and buy time until the adult orcs came to rescue him.

He climbed to a high place and looked around. Uncle Chiye had red hair and was very eye-catching. As long as he climbed to a high place and looked for them, he would definitely find them.

Xuan discovered Chiye. Near the warehouse, there was a huge gray-black beast attacking them. Chiye was knocked down by the beast. The food stored in the warehouse had been turned out and piled on one side, and on the other side.

Xuan's pupils suddenly contracted. It was... many... corpses of sub-beasts and their cubs, also piled up in a heap.

The beast used its sharp claws to poke at Chi Ye who was lying on the ground from time to time, trying to turn him over. He held An An in his arms, protecting An An tightly under his body, allowing the beast to leave wounds on his back.

It seemed to find Chiye's reaction very interesting, gently wagging its tail and making excited noises. Every time it pokes Chiye, it leaves a wound on his body, but it doesn't kill him.

Chiye tried to get up several times and run away with An An in his arms, but was knocked down by the beast every time. The beast then bit his back and legs as if to vent its anger.

Soon Chiye turned into a bloody man, but the beast was not satisfied and was not ready to kill him.

Xuan's eyes were red as he watched all this. He ran towards them like mad, and a low growl of extreme anger came from his throat.

Suddenly, the beast stopped moving, raised its head and looked provocatively in another direction, then it lost interest in torturing Chiye, and it bit Chiye to death with one bite.

Then Xuan heard a heart-wrenching roar, and Yang rushed out from that direction and attacked the beast.

After dodging Yang's attack, the beast used its claws to knock Chi Ye's corpse off the ground, and it landed heavily near the pile of sub-beast corpses.

Xuan saw that Chiye was still holding An An tightly in his arms.

Xuan saw that Yang rushed towards the beast like mad and attacked it desperately.

Xuan saw the disdain and teasing in the beast's eyes.

He witnessed all of this, and saw that Yang was no match for the beast and was almost killed by it several times.

He couldn't help, so he could only roar towards the sky, calling on the nearby orcs to come and help.

Yang was still fighting with the beast. With his strength, even if he couldn't defeat the beast, he would have no problem saving his life. However, he saw with his own eyes his partner being slaughtered by the beast in front of him, and he was unwilling to leave.

Soon, some orcs heard Xuan's roar and rushed over here.

It was Xia and three orcs from the hunting team. Seeing that Yang was no match for the beast, they immediately joined the battle.

The beast was very powerful, more powerful than they had ever seen before, and the five beasts in their prime had a slight advantage.
