Celestial Moon Palace Undercover Room 4

Celestial Moon Palace Undercover Room 4

When Biluoji heard that Xie Guijin had turned into a jade rabbit, she immediately snatched Xie Guijin from Chang'e's hands and hugged him in her arms, stroking him while laughing and complaining that Xie Guijin never came to see her.

After hearing Chang'e explain her purpose, Biluoji felt a pang of sorrow and shed tears, saying, "Such a thing has happened, but Xue Linchuan has never been to the Demon Palace, otherwise I would definitely know."

Xie Guijin believed what Bi Luoji said. Although it lacked demonic power, it was the location of the demon's spiritual vein. After awakening, its perception was superb, and every move, flower, and blade of grass in the demon's palace was within its perception range.

Xuan Tangjin added from the side, "I will search for him in the demon realm, and I will let you know as soon as I have any news."

After bidding farewell to Bi Luoji and Xuan Tangjin, Xie Guijin and his party headed to the Judicial God Temple at the mouth of the Guanjiang River. Unfortunately, Erlang Zhenjun was out subduing demons, but fortunately, Xie Guijin's old acquaintance, Broken Star Lord Wu Long, was guarding the temple, so there was no need for further explanation.

Chang'e first introduced Xie Guijin to Wu Long, who is now the Jade Rabbit, without mentioning Xue Linchuan's disappearance or other matters.

Wu Long's eyes widened slightly as he looked Xie Guijin, who was in rabbit form, up and down, and said, "So you've finally met your match?"

Xie Guijin bared her teeth and bristled: "Squeak squeak squeak!"

Chang'e quickly hugged her and covered her figure with her sleeve, then apologized to Wu Long, saying, "Miss Xie has just become a jade rabbit and is not quite used to it yet. Please forgive her, Star Lord."

Wu Long clearly didn't believe it, but he was willing to give Chang'e, the mistress of the Moon Palace, face, so he didn't argue with Xie Guijin.

Chang'e quickly explained her purpose, and Wu Long summoned the divine general that Xue Linchuan had once possessed, but the divine general showed no abnormalities.

Wu Long sent a message to Erlang Zhenjun, who ordered Wu Long to search in the divine realm.

“If the True Lord has given the order, I will do my best. I will send you a message as soon as I have any news, how about that?” Wu Long said to Xie Guijin.

Xie Guijin thanked Wu Long, but was still not satisfied, and begged Chang'e to go to the place where the four ferocious beasts were sealed.

The goddess recognized the jade rabbit as Xie Guijin at first glance and said happily, "I have heard that you are making waves in the Ghost Realm and that the recent commotion in the Demon Realm is also due to your efforts. However, I am stationed here and cannot leave easily, so it is a pity that I could not see you in person."

Xie Guijin tilted her head back and cried out a few times in Chang'e's arms.

Chang'e said to the goddess, "Miss Xie said she understands the goddess's duty, please don't worry about it."

Then Chang'e told the goddess everything about Xue Linchuan.

"I wonder if the goddess has ever seen Young Master Xue?" Chang'e asked Xie Guijin.

Upon hearing this, the goddess shook her head and said to Xie Guijin, "I have never seen it, but since the Temple of Justice has taken action, it must have left nothing out, so you should not worry too much."

Xie Guijin nodded.

Having searched the Five Realms without finding Xue Linchuan, Xie Guijin slumped weakly into Chang'e's arms.

Chang'e kissed the rabbit's ears and said, "Think if there's anything we've missed. I'll go with you."

Upon hearing this, Xie Guijin felt like crying, not for Xue Linchuan, but because she was moved by Chang'e's thoughtfulness towards her.

She nuzzled her head against Chang'e's chest, and a sudden thought struck her. She realized that in order to seal the ferocious beast, she and Xue Linchuan had briefly stayed in places such as Cixi Town and the suburban villa of Luojin City, and had developed feelings for each other. Could it be that Xue Linchuan had gone to those places?

Just as Xie Guijin was about to say the location, two celestial messengers from the Xuanlu Tianshu Palace suddenly appeared before them and said, "Hou Yi, how dare you parade around with the Jade Rabbit, who should be punished in the Moon Palace! Hurry up and come back with us."

Hou Yi opened his mouth to explain.

The two immortals rebuked, "You don't need to explain yourself to us. You can explain to the Palace Master when we return to the Xuanlu Tianshu Palace."

Then, without further ado, they forcibly took Hou Yi, Chang'e, and Xie Guijin back to the Heavenly Realm.

The system complained, "Host, you've met your match this time. This guy is really unreasonable. With subordinates like this, the Palace Master must be no good either."

"No, no," Xie Guijin said calmly, "Without rules, there can be no order. This time, we were the ones who made the mistake. If other criminals in the Immortal Realm were to travel freely through the Five Realms with the accompaniment of celestial officials like Xuanheng Lang and Jishu Lang, it would be a misfortune for the Six Realms."

The system scoffed, "Hmph, I bet this so-called Palace Master is just a piece of trash who abuses his power and tries to make things difficult for others with the slightest bit of authority. Host, you're just waiting to be proven wrong this time."

Xie Guijin yawned, neither refuting nor agreeing.

With tears streaming down her face, Chang'e pretended to throw herself into Hou Yi's arms, sobbing, "Hou Yi, I'm sorry, it's all my fault for dragging you down."

Hou Yi immediately took a big step back, flicked his long sleeves, and cupped his hands, saying, "Palace Master, please don't say that. In the end, there is another reason for this matter. I am here on behalf of Miss Xie and Young Master Xue, and it has nothing to do with you, Palace Master."

Chang'e was struck dumb, frozen in place, only tears falling like beads from a broken string, a breathtaking sight of pear blossoms in the rain.

The two celestial officials kept their eyes down, seemingly oblivious to everything around them, as if they hadn't seen or heard anything.

The system and Xie Guijin couldn't help but shed a tear for Chang'e.

One person, one rule, and they secretly gossip. I wonder what excuse Chang'e will use to convince herself this time: that Hou Yi did this because he loves her.

"Host, do you think it's possible that Chang'e will stop deceiving herself this time?" the system asked expectantly.

Xie Guijin scratched behind her ear with her hind paw and said, "Probably not, it's hard to kill someone with a love-struck mind."

During the conversation, they arrived outside the Xuanlu Tianshu Hall.

The guards seemed to have been notified in advance and immediately allowed passage without any hindrance.

Xie Guijin finally met the Palace Master of Xuanlu Tianshu Palace.

Hou Yi and the celestial officials bowed, and Chang'e, in a daze, followed suit and curtsied.

Xie Guijin, relying on the fact that she was a rabbit, did not bow but instead raised her head high and looked at the palace master sitting in the main seat.

Xie Guijin hesitated before asking the system, "Don't you think it looks a bit like the Empress?"

The system lacks human visual nerves; it can only perform facial data scanning. It stated methodically, "Host, according to the scan results, it shares 65.78% similarity with the human empress."

"So precise," Xie Guijin muttered, shaking her head. "Over 60%? But to me, it doesn't seem that close, does it?"

The palace master, who was being lectured by one person, didn't listen to Hou Yi's explanation at all. He slammed his hand on the table and shouted, "You audacious Hou Yi! How dare you disregard the law and act out of personal favoritism! Immortal, take him down and lock him in the Heavenly Prison!"

"Lord, it has nothing to do with Hou Yi," Chang'e said, coming to her senses. She first tried to hug Hou Yi but was dodged, so she had no choice but to stop the law enforcement immortal and burst into tears, saying, "I forced him to do it all. If you want to punish me, then punish me."

The Palace Master remained unmoved and said coldly, "Fairy Chang'e, you are the mistress of the Moon Palace, please do not lose your composure."

After he finished speaking, a celestial enforcer stepped forward and pulled Chang'e away, and Hou Yi was taken away.

As soon as the immortal who was holding Chang'e let go, Chang'e's legs went weak and she knelt on the ground, sobbing uncontrollably.

"Fairy Chang'e, as the master of the Jade Rabbit, you have failed in your supervisory duties and are also suspected of releasing it privately. You must be punished," the Palace Master said matter-of-factly.

Chang'e said sadly, "I am willing to be punished, I only ask that the Palace Master release Hou Yi."

"Nonsense!" the Palace Master roared in anger. "He has his sins, and you have yours. Each should bear their own. How can you lump them together? Is the fairy instigating me to break the law?"

Chang'e lowered her head and whispered, "I wouldn't dare, Chang'e had no such intention, but Hou Yi..."

Before Chang'e could finish speaking, the Palace Master waved his hand and ordered the Enforcement Immortal to take Chang'e away and imprison her.

"Host, look, look, it really is trash," the system said smugly at first, then worriedly added, "You'd better be careful. If both accomplices are like this, your punishment will definitely be more severe. How are you going to complete the house-selling task? How are you going to find Xue Linchuan?"

Xie Guijin sighed inwardly and said, "It is somewhat troublesome."

The temple master made a hand seal and lifted the restriction that prevented the Jade Rabbit from using magic.

Xie Guijin could speak human language using her magic, so she immediately asked, "May I ask the Palace Master, will you interrogate Hou Yi and Chang'e again and determine their punishment based on the actual circumstances?"

"Hmph, I'm very busy, I don't have time for that. The evidence for their crimes is conclusive, and they deserve their punishment," the Palace Master sneered.

Xie Guijin said righteously, "The Palace Master is in charge of the Heavenly Realm's justice; how can he arbitrarily punish without asking the reasons?"

"You, a mere mortal, have quite the audacity," the Palace Master mocked. "The affairs of my Immortal Realm are none of your business, a mere mortal."

"What does this have to do with whether I am a mortal or not?" Xie Guijin was not surprised that the Palace Master could see through her identity. She insisted, "The judiciary should be just, fair, and transparent."

"How dare you be disrespectful to me!" The Palace Master teleported in front of Xie Guijin, bowing his head and looking down at her.

Xie Guijin struggled to straighten up. Well, even when the rabbit stood upright, it didn't reach the Palace Master's knees. He raised his head, his imposing manner undiminished, and said, word by word, "Right is right, and wrong is wrong."

"As expected of an otherworldly visitor who can stir up the winds and clouds in my entire Six Realms, you are quick-witted and fair-minded," the Palace Master said, his murderous aura dissipating as he nodded. "Come with me."

Xie Guijin crouched down warily without moving, her ears turning into airplane ears.

"Weren't you looking for Xue Linchuan? Aren't you going to look for him now?" The Palace Master asked, amused by Xie Guijin's actions.

Xie Guijin frowned and asked, "How did you know I was looking for him? Do you know where he is?"

"Heh, if I wanted to harm you, I would have just done it. Why would I need to deceive you?" The Palace Master said with a smile, "I'll take you to see him."

“Even if the Lord takes me to see him, your punishment of Hou Yi and Chang’e is still wrong,” Xie Guijin said, with an air of “I’m not buying your sweet talk.”

"Yes, I know," the temple master said calmly as he stepped out of the temple.

Xie Guijin had no choice but to hop and skip behind it.

Whether the temple master did it on purpose or not, he walked away very quickly.

Xie Guijin could barely keep up, and was so out of breath that she could no longer speak about Hou Yi and Chang'e being punished.

The immortal and the human arrived at an inconspicuous room in the rear hall of the Xuanlu Tianshu Palace, one after the other.

Lying on the bed inside the room was a burly male immortal with a weathered face.

The temple master said, "This is Wu Gang, the immortal that Xue Linchuan possessed this time."

“It’s unconscious,” Xie Guijin said, jumping to the bedside and examining it closely. “How can you be sure it’s Xue Linchuan?”
