Chapter 90: Intimidation
"Little rascal!"
Anno was fiddling with the new mecha toy that Lokin had bought for her when she heard a familiar, crisp sound.
She turned around and saw Tuka and Huo Yin walking quickly toward her.
After being a few steps away from her, Tuka could no longer hold back and lunged at Anno. However, before she could get close to Anno, Bai Zhou grabbed her by the back of her collar and lifted her up, leaving her to flailing her arms and legs in vain.
Tuka only recognized Anno and Login Tangting. Looking at the person who was dragging him along, he extended sharp claws from his fingertips and scratched at Bai Zhou, "Put me down!"
Bai Zhou held her up with one hand and grabbed her hands with the other, bringing them close to her face to sniff. "Where did this little fox come from?"
His gaze shifted from her swaying tail to the cluster of fox ears atop her head. "Still a black fox..."
Tuka: "So what if you're a black fox! I can still bite you to death!"
After speaking, Tuka suddenly stopped, her nose twitching as she sniffed Bai Zhou repeatedly. Hmm? That familiar scent of her kind...
She suddenly looked up at Bai Zhou, "You're a fox too!"
A smile appeared in Bai Zhou's eyes. "Yes."
Tuka said "Oh," and then asked, "What breed are you? Red? Yellow? Black? Purple?"
Bai Zhou: "Guess."
Tuka looked him up and down, then down behind him. "You're a beast, just look at your tail and I'll know!"
Bai Zhou flicked her forehead with his finger, "What kind of beast would reveal its true form at your age?"
As soon as he finished speaking, a loud "Awoo!" came from the side.
It was Peach Joy chasing after a transforming ball, running quickly on the ground with her hands and feet clattering down, her animal ears and tail peeking out.
She is a year older than Tuka.
Bai Zhou's lips twitched involuntarily. Their Tao Tao Le felt like a newly awakened beast, always grinning foolishly.
Tuka covered his forehead and grinned at him, "Who are you? You're so annoying, touching me like that."
If it weren't for the little one being there, she would have already taken a bite out of anyone else.
“I am Hicks’ younger brother, and Nono’s third older brother.”
Tuka paused, then pursed her lips, "Hicks is such a gentle person, you're not like his brother."
Bai Zhou let go of her. "Little fox, you don't understand me, and not everyone has the same personality."
Standing next to him, Otta said, "If you knew him, you'd find him even more annoying."
Bai Zhou smiled as he looked at his good younger brother who was undermining him.
Ota ignored him and looked at the little boy standing in front of Xiaoqi.
He grabbed Xiao Qi's hand and pressed it against his face, instantly setting off alarm bells in the minds of Ota, Bai Zhou, and the others.
"Ahhh, you're not allowed to grab Xiaoqi's hand!"
When Tao Tao saw a strange little boy with his face pressed against her sister's hand, she immediately dropped the ball in her hand and rushed towards him.
Huo Yin didn't even glance at her. He raised his tail and slapped her to the ground, making her roll a few times. He knew she was Anuo's family, so he didn't use much force. Otherwise, with the power of his tail, Tao Tao would have suffered some minor injuries, if not broken bones.
Tuka was immediately displeased to see Huo Yin getting close to the cub before her. She ran to Anuo, squatted down, and wagged her tail frantically, looking at her with incredibly expectant eyes.
When Anno saw Tuka, he pulled his hand away from Huo Yin's and hugged her head, patting it gently.
Tuka also reached out and hugged Anuo tightly, nuzzling his head against her chest.
Ah, I really want to turn into a beast and roll around on the ground, wanting to hide the little cub under my belly and rub it against me.
When Tao Tao Le and Ota saw Anno holding Tuka, the smiles on their faces vanished instantly.
Xiaoqi didn't let them hold her!
Xiao Qi actually took the initiative to hug that little fox!
Tao Tao puffed out her cheeks in anger and plopped down on the ground.
Ota's eyes darkened, and his face became colder than usual. Bai Zhou smiled, but the smile didn't reach his eyes.
Baroque looked at Tuka with envy.
Tuka nestled happily in Anno's arms, but when she felt a cool breeze coming from behind her, she stiffened slightly and released Anno.
Ugh, why does racial oppression exist? Every time Huo Yin exudes the aura of a dragon, she feels an inexplicable fear.
Anno also sensed the aura emanating from Huo Yin and said to him, "Don't scare Tuka."

Seeing the expressions on their parents' faces, Luo Jin and Tang Ting, fearing they might misunderstand, immediately said to them, "This is the child adopted by the Hailier family. Both he and the baby were brought back from Casa Star."
He then brought Tuka to them, saying, "This is Tuka, the child Hicks rescued from the Casa Arena. Hicks specifically instructed us to take good care of him."
Upon hearing that Tuka was rescued from the Casa Star Arena, a hint of surprise flashed across Bai Zhou's eyes, and his gaze softened as he looked at her.
He knew what Casa was, and he knew that its arena was a place even worse than hell.

With Locke's introduction, Tuka got to know the Hicks family one by one.
Finally, she couldn't help but say, "You have so many family members."
The family that adopted her consisted of five people in total: her adoptive parents, an older brother, and an older sister.
Watching Tuka greet her family members, she looked at Huo Yin beside her. Huo Yin's gaze was fixed on her the whole time, and he didn't even glance at anyone else.
He seemed to have an even harder time fitting into the new environment than she did.
"Huo Yin, how are you now?"
Anno's sentences have improved a lot recently, and he can express basic meanings, but there are still some differences between his sentences and their normal conversations.
She wanted to ask Huo Yin how his health and new family were.
Huo Yin pulled her away to another place, saying, "My body is fine, my energy won't surge anymore, my new family is great, and I can stay with you from now on."
Anno: "You don't need to stay with me. You can go do other things."
Huo Yin stopped and looked down at her: "Don't you want me to stay with you? I just want to be with you."
