Chapter 55: Happiness

Chapter 55: Happiness

Fearing that the gray otters might accidentally injure Anno, no one dared to step forward. Lokin and the guards had already disengaged their weapons, ready to take down the gray otters as quickly as possible if things went wrong.

However, judging from how the gray otters surrounded Anno, they were probably attracted by her energy.

Most creatures in the Northern River system are attracted to the energy of the Fire Seed. Even the fiercest beasts will become docile in the presence of the Fire Seed. However, few creatures would surround her like Anno and prevent anyone from getting close.

Seeing that the guards following them had taken out their weapons, and fearing that she would be hurt by these gray otters, Anno had no choice but to move step by step toward Lokin.

Although the large gray otter held her tightly, it didn't forcibly restrain her from leaving. Seeing that Anno wanted to leave, it reluctantly nuzzled her in its arms before placing her in front of Lokin.

It knew that Logan was the mother of the little cub.

Seeing that the gray otter leader had put Anno down, Logan breathed a sigh of relief and quickly picked Anno up.

She originally wanted Anno to play with these docile little animals, but she didn't expect them to react so strongly to Anno.

The gray otter, a gentle and adorable animal, also exists on several other planets, though the species are slightly different. However, their personalities and lifestyles are the same, and they are deeply loved by the Fireseed.

No one has ever encountered a situation like Anno's before.

Anno was hugged and petted by the big gray otter, and the soft touch of it still lingered on her body. She thought to herself that it was quite comfortable and she didn't feel any discomfort.

Seeing that Anno showed no fear, Luo Jin said softly, "There are also gray otters on Tianhe Star. I'll take the baby to see them then."

Anno nodded. "Mm."

She pointed to the hat lying on the beach, "The hat."

Tang Ting arrived just then, picked up her hat, brushed the sand off it, and put it back on her.

When he put the hat on Anno, he caught a subtle expression on Anno's face, as if she had breathed a sigh of relief and looked at him with a sense of peace.

It seems she really likes hats because they give her a sense of security.

Tang Ting looked at the gray otters. They had dispersed and returned to their lazy state, basking in the sun and rolling around on the beach.

He knew these creatures wouldn't harm Anno, and although they wouldn't attack her intentionally, there was a possibility she might have been accidentally injured in the situation just now, as she was still too young. However, to prevent a repeat of what had just happened, he carried the beast-controlling device on his person.

The two took Anuo onto a small white boat that could be used for boating on the lake, and the boat slowly headed towards the center of Baisha Lake.

Anno lay on the side of the boat, watching the silver flying fish swimming with them in the water. Their long, translucent tails were like layers of thin gauze, very dreamy and beautiful.

I never imagined that such beautiful creatures could be born on a desert planet.

Luo Jin put his arm around Anuo's waist to prevent her from falling into the lake, and Tang Ting gave her some fish food and taught her how to feed the fish.

Anno scattered the fish food, and the silver flying fish that had been following her jumped out of the water. Its long tail brushed against her hand. The silver flying fish spread its fins in the air, paused for a moment, and then fell into the water. Then it jumped out of the water again and touched Anno's hand.

Anno couldn't help but smile and grabbed another handful of fish food, scattering it down.

Seemingly sensing Anno's happy mood, the silver flying fish in the water suddenly leaped out of the water. Luo Jin and Tang Ting quickly hugged her and shielded her from the splashing water.

The silver flying fish leaped out of the water with a "plop!" as they spread their fins and glided and flew across the surface.

Anno held onto Lokin's arm, her eyes sparkling as she gazed at the magnificent and beautiful scene before her.

Seeing these silver flying fish up close was even more breathtaking than the day she first arrived on Canghai Star.

As beautiful as they were, the splashes from the fish flying out of the water soaked them all. Even though Luo Jin and Tang Ting helped her shield herself, she was still mostly wet.

Some smaller silver flying fish deliberately spat water at them and teased Anno with their tails, as if they wanted to play with him.

Once one is done, another will follow, and many silver flying fish will imitate it, constantly spitting water at them.

Anno felt the cool water splashing on her face and the ticklish sensation of the silver flying fish's tail brushing against her skin. She couldn't help but laugh and used her hand to block the silver flying fish's tail that was brushing against her.

At that moment, she felt a long-lost, pure joy.

Hearing Anuo's clear laughter, Luo Jin and Tang Ting exchanged a smile, their eyes filled with relief.

They just wanted to make Anno happy.

After playing with her for a while, we went back to shore to change her wet clothes so she wouldn't catch a cold.

The two led Anno to the rest area, opened the prepared bag, and packed two sets of spare clothes for Anno inside.

After changing her wet clothes, Tang Ting borrowed a hairdryer from the staff, untied her tied-up hair, and dried it.

"It's noon now, I'm going to make some formula for the baby."

Luo Jin handed Anuo to Tang Ting to hold, then rummaged through his bag for the baby bottle and formula to get hot water to make the milk.

Anuo watched as Li Yue and Wu Sui led Tuka and the others to the rest area. Tuka and the others were covered in water and sand from playing, and the two adjutants took them to take a bath.

Tuka had wanted to come over and get closer to Anuo, but she was soaking wet, so she just waved to her and was pulled away by Li Yue.

Luo Jin tested the temperature of the prepared milk and handed it to Anuo. He then took out the baby food and put it in Anuo's special small bowl to brew and stir.

Anno watched as Lokin sat down in front of her and extended a hand to her.

Now she has let her guard down around Tang Ting and is gradually accepting him as her father, but psychologically she still wants to stick with Luo Jin more.

Seeing her reach out to him, Luo Jin smiled and hugged her.

At home, the children preferred to stick close to Tang Ting, who had a gentle and meticulous personality and spent more time taking care of the children at home.

Anuo felt sleepy after drinking her milk. Children naturally need a lot of sleep, and she would feel sleepy and want to take a nap every day at noon.

Tang Ting saw that she was sleepy, so she took the baby food and prepared to feed her. She had to make sure that the baby food was finished before she fell asleep.

As soon as he held the spoon to Anuo's lips, Anuo automatically took it, still not liking to be fed.

Luo Jin had no choice but to take the bowl from Tang Ting's hand and place it in front of her so that she could scoop the food out herself.

She fell asleep while holding her spoon after eating only half of the meal.

Lokin carefully took the spoon from her hand and carried her upstairs to her room.

As soon as the two entered the elevator, Anuo drowsily opened her eyes and looked in a certain direction. A figure wearing a hat walked past the elevator, and the elevator doors closed, blocking her view.

Feeling that familiar energy again, Anno couldn't help but feel a little puzzled.

She was just too tired and fell asleep again with Luo Jin's gentle patting.
