Chapter 221: Duel
As soon as Anno stepped out of the portal, he was stunned by the sight before him.
Before her lay an underwater city. Unlike their deserted ancient city, this city was much more bustling and brighter.

Theodore snorted coldly, pulled his hand back, and rubbed his wrist, saying, "Since you've already started a duel, do you think you can leave here alive?"
He glanced at the girl being held in Mingxi's arms; in time, this beautiful little spark would be his.
King Charles said to Mingxi, "You want to start a duel? Do you know the rules?"

Then, his gaze fell on Anno. "You returned to the tribe for her sake. If you want the throne, then let's see what you can do."
Charles said to the person below him, "Open the arena."
Inside the arena's preparation room, Anno asked Mingxi, "What are the rules of the arena? Are you going to fight the king alone?"
Mingxi said, "No, you have to fight against everyone else first, and then it's the king's turn."

The sound of war drums had already begun to sound outside. Mingxi picked up a weapon and led her out to swim.
The circular arena was already filled with merfolk who had come to watch the duel.
