Chapter 226: Weakness
Anno returned to the island where she lived, which was a hotel.
Karina breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that she had returned safely.
Seeing that she hadn't replied to the message, she and Mingxiao hacked into Skynet and used the global satellite system to search for her.
Although the mermaid is Caesar's alter ego and won't harm Xiaoqi, she could be in any danger if she can't be contacted.
This is not their time and space, after all; any subtle changes are uncertain.
When Upper Crescent Moon and Fu Quan saw that Anuo had been found, after confirming the number of people who would return to their original timeline with them, the two of them opened a time tunnel somewhere on the island.
A portal to another dimension appeared before them.
"Alright, let's go..."
As soon as the crescent moon finished speaking, the portal in front of them suddenly began to distort.
Upper Crescent Moon and Fu Quan's expressions changed, and they quickly withdrew their abilities.
A spatial portal appeared behind Anno, disrupting the frequency of the portal.
A pair of hands quickly reached out from behind her and pulled her into the portal before anyone could react.
Sevier, who was closest to Anno, quickly reached out to grab her hand, but only managed to catch a bracelet.
Karina, standing opposite Anno, drew her long sword from her waist and threw it at the person behind Anno the instant the portal closed.
"Anunu!"
"Your Highness!"
The entire event took only two seconds. The spatial portal opened with perfect precision, almost right next to Anno, perfectly separating her from her entourage behind her.
Sevier looked at the Anunu bracelet in her hand, her grip slowly tightening, and then she looked up at Caesar with a cold gaze.
"It is you in this time and space."
Overwhelmed by Sevier's aura, Caesar knelt down on one knee.
Sevier took a few deep breaths to calm herself down. She glanced at Anno's few followers and sighed inwardly, "Still too young."
Karina asked her, "Your Majesty, if that person was Caesar from this timeline, why couldn't you suppress him?"
Sevier said, "Because the Zerg's consciousness network is very independent and self-contained, with a unique frequency. No two leaves in the world are the same. No matter how similar they look, there will be subtle differences."
Although they can connect to the Zerg consciousness network in this spacetime, it is only temporary, similar to receiving signals; they cannot use other functions.
It's not that we can't make the connection, it's that we can't.
Given the Zerg's social structure, the consciousness originating from another independent consciousness network will cause confusion among the Zerg's familiars in this spacetime.
The Zerg can only have one reigning Queen. If we compare the Zerg consciousness network to a network, the Queen's consciousness is the main system that controls the entire Zerg and cannot be replicated.
Even in ordinary time and space, the same person may have different life experiences, and they are not exactly the same. It is these subtle differences that, if consciousness is connected, will cause consciousness and memories to mix together, making it impossible to distinguish oneself from people in another time and space.
Caesar and the other four were aware of this problem, so they consistently grouped their consciousness together to actively block out the Zerg consciousness network in this spacetime.
The reason why Sevier and the others cannot connect to Anno's consciousness now is because she has exceeded the range of consciousness they can connect to.
It must have left the Riot system at least.
Tanvel said to Sevier with a worried look, "Your Majesty, could it be that Her Highness has already been taken back to the main planet?"
Sevier: "Given Caesar's abilities, he might have been taken back."
As she spoke, she looked at Caesar, who was still kneeling on the ground, and was unable to move because she was holding him down.
"Get up." She withdrew her oppressive aura and released Caesar.
“I just noticed some changes in the magnetic field of the space gate. I suspect the location of Caesar II has changed,” Karina said.
She activated her lightning ability the moment she threw the longsword, and although it only lasted for a split second, it still caused some disruption.
After she finished speaking, Sevier and the other four members of her household looked at Caesar.
Now, only Caesar can be directly located.
He can follow the trajectory of the portal to find Anno and Caesar II.
They haven't moved yet because Caesar at this stage has created too many clones, and his consciousness is at its most chaotic, almost to the point of madness, making him extremely dangerous.
Sevier and Anno, as the Queen Insects, can suppress him, but he will lose control of his own behavior.
They worried that if they clashed with him, the harm caused by his uncontrollable behavior would affect His Highness.
Caesar had to pinpoint his location precisely and subdue him before he could either flee with the prince or go berserk.
Now, all they can do is wait patiently.
Caesar closed his eyes with a somber expression, the insect patterns on his body emitting a faint glow. He raised his hand, activating his ability to sense the remaining magnetic field trajectory of the spatial gate.
Exoplanets
Claw Star.
Air quality: Excellent
Humidity 66%
Weather: Sunny
The nearest supply station is 50 kilometers away; the optimal route has been calculated for you.
If you require transportation, we can make an appointment for you. Have a pleasant journey!
Anno stared in silence at the planet recognition projection that automatically popped up on his personal computer.
She never expected that she would actually end up on Claw Planet.
This planet was one she had searched before; it was just a relatively primitive, ordinary planet, not belonging to any star system, but merely a supply transit point on interstellar routes.
There are only some staff and a small number of immigrants on the planet.
A fluffy, palm-sized ball of fur ran to her feet and lay still on them.
Another furry ball, much larger than hers, ran over, stuck out its tiny head, opened its mouth, grabbed the little furry ball, and dragged it away from her feet.
She looked in the direction of the two fluffy balls and saw a dozen or so little fluffy balls lined up obediently. After their mother dragged the little fluffy balls that had strayed back, they followed behind their mother and continued moving forward.
She turned her gaze to Caesar, who was leaning against a large rock.
At this moment, his eyes were closed and his face was pale. His long, silver hair was casually scattered and looked somewhat messy.
He revealed his original form, with a pair of black horns on his head, one of which was broken in half.
A long sword pierced his chest, severing half of the most important spinal whip on his back.
He would be in danger if his partner also cut off contact.
This is my second sister's knife, made from a special ore. It is incredibly hard and sharp, and it also contains her lightning powers. Right now, tiny sparks are crackling on it.
Anno frowned slightly as she looked at his weak appearance.
The Caesar in this timeline is somewhat different from the Caesar she knows.
Although the second sister's sword was sharp, Caesar, as the highest-ranking member of the family, had exceptionally tough outer armor. Moreover, since the sword was thrown out in an emergency by the second sister, much of the force would be dissipated.
How could he be so weak?
Anno knelt down in front of him and carefully examined his condition.
She dared not draw the knife carelessly, for the blade was stuck along the spine, and she feared that if she exerted force, she would sever the other half of Caesar's spinal whip.
The only thing we can do is use our abilities to stabilize his life and energy, and help him recover.
When she examined his energy, she found that he was indeed extremely weak, with his energy surging erratically within his body, lower than ever before, already below normal levels.
She slowly unbuttoned his combat suit, revealing his upper body, and discovered that he had many wounds on his body. The wounds looked very fresh, all of which were recent injuries.
The original form of the outer armor was partially exposed, with a rift extending outwards from the chest.
Seeing the crack, Anuo realized that it was no wonder his second sister's knife could pierce through his body; he already had a wound there.
How could you have gotten yourself into such a mess?
Anno spoke softly, placing her hand on his chest and using her abilities to help heal the other wounds on his body and stabilize the disordered energy within him.
A round, blue bird perched on Caesar's shoulder, tilting its head to look at Anno.
Several fluffy little animals of different shapes also surrounded Anuo, curiously circling around her.
Another round little bird landed on Anno's shoulder and gently pecked at her ear.
Anno's ears were tickled by its pecking, and she couldn't help but laugh out loud.
She teased the chubby little bird with her finger, watching it rub its head against her finger repeatedly.
The animals on this planet seem to be completely unafraid of life.
She was teasing the chubby little bird when Caesar in front of her slowly opened his eyes.
Seeing the girl smiling before him, Caesar remained stunned for a long time.
Sensing his gaze, Anno turned her head and met a pair of beautiful golden eyes.
