Chapter Twenty-One: First Aid
Just as the long sword was about to strike him, Hicks rushed over and shoved Lokin aside. Lokin swung out the long whip wrapped around his waist, and the whip, glowing with blue light, extended and flew towards Hicks, wrapping around him. Lokin then pulled himself towards Hicks with all his might, and the long sword slashed a large gash in his body.
Hicks whimpered in pain, rolled several times on the ground, and splattered blood everywhere.
Seeing this, Lu Sien pounced on Luo Jin and bit her, but he couldn't break through her defenses and threw her several meters away.
Seeing that Locke had been thrown off, Hicks got up from the ground and ran forward with Luce.
Lokin landed lightly on the ground, watched Hicks and the others escape, sheathed his sword, and turned to walk towards Anno.
Not far away, Bazel lay prostrate in the snow, his gaze fixed intently on the Federation members.
When he chased after them, he saw the Blackthorn people fighting with the Federation people. He even tried to snatch the seed back, but he could barely sense the seed's energy anymore. He saw the seed being held in someone's arms with her eyes closed, her face pale and her breath weak, indicating that her physical condition was very bad.
Seeing her like this, Bazel gradually calmed down.
The seed is very fragile; even a seed that has been carefully tended by a dedicated person can perish. At such times, the seed cannot withstand any further disturbance.
Bazel had to admit that he couldn't give her a better life than the Federation, and that taking her in and caring for her was just wishful thinking.

Luo Jin took Anuo from Wu Sui's arms and strode towards the spaceship, with Wu Sui following behind with the other beast cubs.
Anno sensed a very familiar energy and opened his eyes with some difficulty from his sleep.
Seeing that she was awake, Lokin was somewhat surprised. She was so weak that she shouldn't have woken up for a while after being injected with the drug.
As soon as Anno woke up, she stirred in Luo Jin's arms, trying to sit up and look in a certain direction.
Sensing her intention, Luo Jin picked her up and gently comforted her, "Be good, baby, we'll take you to your new home soon."
Anno weakly wrapped his arms around Lokin's neck, rested his chin on her shoulder, and looked ahead.

Logan took her onto the spaceship, and the cabin doors slowly closed, cutting off her view.
After watching the waiting spaceship disappear, Bazel plunged into the snowstorm.
He now needs to make good preparations so that he can find a way to see the seeds again in the future, and he will eliminate those who covet the seeds one by one.
Compared to the Federation, Blackthorn is the one who truly wants to snatch the cubs and take them back to use; he needs to keep a close eye on them.
After the small rescue spaceship connected with the starship on the outskirts of Casa, Logan carried Anno and flew towards the medical bay.

At the medical control panel, Chief Physician Eric was adjusting her medication dosage. In just a short while, beads of sweat appeared on his forehead. The assistant physician beside him, seeing that the Fire Seed cub's physical data showed no signs of improvement, began to tremble slightly.
They had performed emergency treatment on other Sparklings, and there were cases where Sparklings in slightly better condition than this one had not survived. The sight of her blood-red body data sent chills down the spines of the medical staff.
They were among the best medical staff, having seen all sorts of cases, and knew better than Locke and his team just how dire the condition of the Sparkling cub was.
The physical attributes of the Fire Seeds are only relatively weaker than those of beasts and alien species. As long as they are properly cared for after the cub stage, their bodies will become much stronger because the energy in their bodies will increase and protect them. The Fire Seed cub in front of us is too small, and its energy is almost depleted.
Energy is the last line of defense in the Fire Seed's body. Without energy protection in this situation, those life-saving drugs would be too potent for her given her rapidly deteriorating health.
Her body is now so fragile that it would break at the slightest touch.

Seeing her discomfort, Locke said to Eric, "Can't we give her a painkiller injection?"
"No, if she falls asleep now, she won't wake up."
As soon as Luo Jin finished speaking, a magnetic and steady voice came from behind him.
A tall, slender figure in medical attire entered the medical pod, followed by several medical personnel whose uniforms differed from those of Eric and his group.
Upon seeing the person who arrived, Eric's voice was somewhat excited, "Dr. Downing!"
Luo Jin was slightly taken aback: "Tang Ting?"
How did he get here? Wasn't he doing research on Muyun Star at this time?

Tang Ting took out his personal testing pen to check the cub's physical reactions. After carefully checking each aspect and finding no problems, he put the testing pen in his coat pocket, handed over the other work to his medical team, and turned to look at the group of medical personnel who had come to the rescue.
"Why not do a blood test on the cubs before administering the medication?"
Tang Ting questioned Eric and the others in a calm tone, but his gaze was as deep as a still pool.
