Chapter 249: Not a Cub
"No, you need to cut it into smaller pieces, otherwise I'll eat the whole thing later."
In the kitchen, Sitar was preparing a stew for Anno.
He had just learned how to cook, having learned a lot from the consciousness network and the quantum brain, but knowing how in one's mind and knowing how in one's hands are two different things.
Anno watched as Sitar diligently chopped the meat into small pieces with a cleaver, then threw them into a pot, added water and seasonings.
Although not yet proficient, it is very meticulous.
"Why aren't you wearing an apron? It'll get oily." Anuo took an apron off the wall and put it on him.
When she was tying his apron, she was so close that she could "smell" his unique male insect king scent.
It made her want to stick it on.
Sitar replied without turning his head, "You can hug me."
Anno snorted, "No hugging, still angry."
Two seconds later, Sitar felt a soft, warm touch pressed against his back.
The corners of his mouth curved into a barely perceptible smile.
Anno rested her head on his shoulder, hugged his lean waist, and couldn't help but pinch the flesh on his waist. "Why do you seem to have gotten even stronger?"
Sitar tilted his head and nuzzled her cheek. "Yeah, it keeps growing."
Anno sighed, "You've grown up so fast, I can't keep up. Are you still a little bug?"
Sital: "No."
Anno was taken aback: "Huh?"
Sitar spoke calmly, “The Queen and the King took me to the temple and connected me with the consciousness of our ancestors. There are no results yet, but we can confirm that I am not a cub. I have just been waiting for you all these years.”
He has grown too fast, both physically and mentally.
This already shows that he was already growing inside the egg, but his growth was suppressed because he hadn't yet met his queen beetle.
Even if it was just hatched from an egg, it cannot be counted as a normal offspring.
Looking at his youthful and handsome features, Anno said, "Then I still prefer little Sitar."
Sitar is growing up so fast, she really can't keep up.
She is Ying Shuo, and she naturally grows slowly.
Sitar paused in his chopping motion. "Okay."
Anno smiled. "You always say yes."
Sitar put all the ingredients into the pot, lit the fire, washed his hands, and cut a plate of fruit for Anno.
As soon as I handed it to Anno, Anno said, "I want some juice."
He then found a juicer and made her a large glass of juice.
Anno took a sip of her juice and, seeing him looking at her, offered him the juice.
Sital took a sip and commented seriously, "Sweet, seven-tenths sweetness."
Anno: "Besides sweet, are there any other flavors?"
Sitar read out the names of the fruits he had just mentioned.
Seeing that he still didn't seem very interested in the food, Anno sighed inwardly, sat down on the sofa, and waited for Sitar's stew.
The house fell silent, save for the sounds of boiling water in the pot on the kitchen stove and the crackling of burning wood in front of the fireplace.
Anno was reading a book on the sofa. After sitting for a while, she started to lie down, and then she simply lay down on Sital's lap.
Sitar remained seated, flipping through a book in his hands.
After flipping through the book for a while, Anno felt sleepy. She shifted on Sitar's lap to find a comfortable position, closed her eyes, and mumbled softly, "Wake me when the stew is ready."
This was the first time Sitar had cooked for her, and she was determined to eat it.
Sitar stopped turning the pages. "Okay."
Soon after, Anno fell into a deep sleep.
Sitar put the book aside and looked down at Anno.
He raised his hand and flicked his finger lightly towards the stove, and the fire immediately went out.
Anunu needs to sleep for about eight hours. The stew will be ready in two hours by simmering it over low heat. Let's continue simmering it when she's about to wake up, otherwise it won't taste good.
Anno slept soundly and woke up in bed on the second floor. She walked to the second-floor railing and looked down. Sitar was in the kitchen preparing food.
The aroma of stewed meat filled the entire house.
Although it was Sitar's first time cooking, his skills were excellent, and Anno almost finished the whole pot of stew.
Sitar wasn't very interested in the food, but he ate a small bowl with Anno, barely managing to finish it.
After staying in the cabin for two days, Anno returned to the palace.
Augustus and Sevier acted as if nothing had happened, and when they saw Anno return to the palace in high spirits, they both smiled and sighed.
Augsis said, "Anunu is too easy to coax."
He thought Anunu rarely got angry and would at least ignore Sitar for a few days, but he coaxed him back in one night.
They wished their precious Anunu had a bigger temper, big enough to turn the palace upside down.
But her personality is too gentle. However, she is still young, and there is still a long time for her to change gradually.
Hearing the hint of envy in Augustis's voice, which seemed to carry a hidden meaning, Sevier smirked coldly, "You're envious?"
Augustus feigned ignorance, "What's there to envy?"
Sevier reached out and lifted Augustis's chin. "Looks like I've wronged you."
Augustus immediately put his arm around Sevier's waist and kissed her. "How could that be, my queen?"
Sevier gave a soft snort and pushed him away.
Augustus leaned closer and whispered in her ear, "Your Majesty, may I sleep in the bed tonight?"
Sevier glanced at him sideways but didn't say anything.
But Augsis's expression brightened, and his spine whip spread out from behind him.
Sevier grabbed his whip. "You have one hour."
Augustus looked troubled: "It's too short."
An hour of torture for him.
Sevier: "Do you want to?"
Augsis gritted his teeth and said, "I want it!"
In the inner hall's long corridor, Anno and Sitar, in the courtyard of the Crystal Tree, heard their father's loud voice and peeked out, their faces full of curiosity. "Father seems very happy. What are he and Mother doing?"
She saw the two of them walk past, and her mother seemed to be grabbing her father's...spare tire? The direction they were heading was towards their room.
It's 7 p.m. now. It seems that my parents are relatively free today and don't need to stay in the conference hall.
Then she can go to them. She's been out these past two days and hasn't told them anything.
Upon hearing Anno's idea, Sitar pulled her back, "Don't go."
Anno asked in confusion, "What's wrong?"
Sitar felt it wasn't time to tell her yet.
She hasn't reached adulthood yet, so she can't smell the mate scent of male insects.
However, male insects can smell each other.
He led her to the crystal tree, held her hand and pressed it against the tree, saying, "Let's sense the planet's energy together."
As he spoke, he gently stroked her cheek with his hand.
With his handsome, expressionless face, it was both intimate and restrained.
Anuo felt a surge of warmth in her heart and smiled, "Okay."

"170 centimeters."
Sitar leaned against the wall, and Augustus drew a line above his head, instructing his servants to record it.
Anno sat to the side, resting her chin on her hand as she looked at him.
In just one month, he grew from 160cm to 170cm.
And she is still only 160cm tall.
According to the Zerg's growth pattern, her current height is normal, considering she is only seventeen years old.
But Sital is only one month old.
One month!
Why does he grow so fast?
And it's getting faster and faster.
These days, his father also sends him to the brooding nest, where there is the energy most suitable for his growth.
Seeing Anno's depressed expression, Augsis smiled and patted her head. "Anunu, don't be sad. Sital is special. He's different from the usual little queen beetles."
Anno asked curiously, "Dad, have you already figured out Sitar's situation?"
Augsis nodded. "It's not entirely clear yet. In a few days, I'll take you and Sitar to the temple to listen to the voice of our ancestors."
Anno watched as Sitar went out, then quickly came back in, carrying a doll that was half the height of a person.
"Here you are, little Sitar."
Anno took the doll and looked at the cabinet on one side of her room.
In the past month, Sitar has made more than a dozen Sitar dolls of various sizes for her.
His doll-making skills are becoming more and more proficient, and he can make one in no time.
She placed the doll next to the sofa, and Sitar picked it up and put it on her bedside table.
Then she put the dolls on her bed on the cabinet.
Anuo's cheeks flushed when she saw his actions. How could he put his doll on her bed!
"Sitael, don't replace my doll! I don't want yours on my bed!"
Sital: "You think so, I heard you."
Anno: "...Could you please not say that?" Father has other family members here!
Sital: "Okay."
