"Who are you?"
Anunu asked a question.
"Karina".
Karina placed her hand on his head and patted him. "I'm your second sister."
After she finished speaking, Anunu continued to focus on the snowman in her hands and didn't pay any more attention to her.
Karina didn't force her to call her; she had returned in a hurry and hadn't prepared anything.
She thought that Xiao Qi wouldn't call her if she didn't prepare a gift.
After she went inside, Anunu looked up at her again.
That evening, the Luo family said they would stay up all night to welcome the New Year. The family sat in the living room with snacks and toys scattered all over the floor. The children who said they would stay up all night were the first to fall asleep.
Anunu, who usually goes to bed earliest, was still awake, but she was already sitting there dozing off.
She would doze off as soon as she woke up and continue to concentrate on playing with the model in her hands.
Hicks and the others watched her do this several times and didn't know why she kept holding on. No matter how fun the toys were, she would still sleep when she was supposed to.
Karina couldn't stand it anymore and snatched the toy from her hand. "Go to sleep."
Anunu shook her head and tried to grab her toy, "I'm not sleeping!"
Karina held her hand up, refusing to give it to her.
Lokin quickly picked up Anunu and asked her, "Anunu, we don't need to stay up all night anymore, shall we go to sleep?"
Anunu, however, was very stubborn: "We must protect it, as promised."
It turned out that they had just talked to the children about staying up all night on New Year's Eve, and that they had to stay up until the next day. Anunu kept this in mind, so she insisted on staying up until dawn.
Karina, having learned the reason, returned the toy to Anunu and brought her other toys, saying, "I'll play with you, but we'll play in the room."
Anunu nodded in agreement.
Half an hour later, when Lokin entered Anunu's room, he found her asleep on Karina's lap.
Lokin wanted to tidy up the toys on the bed, but Karina raised her hand to stop her, "Put them away later, when she's asleep a bit more."
"Let me carry Anunu, you must be tired from rushing back..."
"Mother, are you going to send Anunu to the Special Administration Bureau?"

During the Lunar New Year holidays, no one from the Special Administration Bureau came, and Anunu happily spent the holiday with them.
After Tang Ting's parents came to stay for a few days and then left, Karina realized that she hadn't prepared anything for Anunu when she returned, so she took Anunu out to buy a gift.
Anunu wasn't as close to her second sister as she was to her other older brothers and sisters. She hardly ever spoke to her, and Anunu was usually quiet and didn't ask her questions. But when doing something, she would just pull Anunu along, and Anunu didn't resist.
Seeing Karina take Anunu out, Logan thought the two sisters could get closer, so he didn't let anyone else go with them.
Karina drove Anunu to the mall. Anunu sat in the passenger seat, playing with a Rubik's Cube, glancing at Karina every now and then.

Karina could feel Anunu's gaze without even looking. She saw that Anunu had already solved all the Rubik's Cubes and was now swinging her legs listlessly.
As soon as she spoke, Anunu turned her face to the window.

Anunu beckoned to her, signaling her to squat down. Karina paused for a moment, then squatted down in front of her.
Anunu placed the fluffy little round hat on her head. "Here you go, this way you'll be safe."
Karina had learned about Anunu's background from Hicks and knew that the hat would make her feel safe. However, she did not expect Anunu to give her the hat. It seemed that Anunu did not like her, his second sister, very much.
In the few days since she returned, she hadn't heard Anunu call her "second sister" yet.
"What kind of hat do you like? Your second sister will buy it for you."
Anunu shook her head and picked up another hat for her.
Then, she wandered around the store and gave her a pair of sunglasses.
"If you wear it, you won't need to wear that anymore."
Karina looked at the sunglasses Anunu handed her, then suddenly seemed to remember something and asked uncertainly, "Xiao Qi, do you know something?"
Anunu covered her mouth, "I won't tell."
Karina: "......"
She pulled Anunu close to her and whispered in her ear, "Tell me quietly."
Anunu hesitated, "I...I can't beat you."
The two were practically talking past each other, and Karina felt she was about to find out why Anunu had been behaving so strangely towards her these past few days.
"I won't hit you, I'm your second sister." Karina assured Anunu repeatedly before Anunu finally told her, "You, you have a very strong aura."
"I'm... a little scared."
Anunu didn't know how to describe herself, and she spoke haltingly. She couldn't even speak Yugoslavia fluently to begin with, but Karina understood her perfectly.

"If you're scared, why did you give me a hat and sunglasses?"

Upon hearing this, Karina immediately understood. It turned out that Anunu had seen her asking her mother to help her dye her hair that night.

Karina held out her hand. "Like this."
Under Anunu's gaze, Karina's slender and beautiful hands were covered with white scales, and her knuckles began to elongate, with sharp claws winding from her fingertips.

After learning why Anunu was avoiding her and showing Anunu her original form, her relationship with Anunu became noticeably closer.
The main reason is that Anunu was willing to get close to her after she knew that Anunu wouldn't hurt her.

Anunu is never picky about food and will eat whatever is given to her, but today she has something she really wants to eat: "I want to eat McDonald's."

They would fight over food, the big ones taking from the small ones, the ones with more food taking from the ones with less.
However, thinking that she had enough to eat now, Anunu quickly ate half of the hamburger and gave the other half to the child.
