Chapter 47 A Letter from the Ministry of Magic

Wentworth walked back and forth in front of the wall three times, muttering to himself, "I need a place to practice magic, I need a place to practice magic, I need a place to practice magic!"

Suddenly, a wooden door appeared on the empty wall. Wentworth smiled, pulled the door handle and walked in.

After today's duel, Wentworth developed a sense of urgency. Looking at the familiar people around him, each of whom could cast various spells so skillfully, Wentworth felt anxious, as if in his previous life, everyone had agreed not to study, but when the exam started, the students around him all handed in their papers half an hour in advance, leaving only him.

At that time, Wentworth was thinking that as a time traveler, it was really embarrassing to end up like this!

But compared to the classmates around me who grew up in the magical world, perhaps my only advantage is my understanding of the future and some special objects and places.

For example, the Half-Blood Prince's Notes obtained before, for example, the Room of Requirement in front of us.

Therefore, Wentworth came to the Room of Requirement tonight in order to get extra time and opportunity to practice spells. For this purpose, Wentworth even took the Half-Blood Prince's notebook. After all, compared to other people, his body had a full ten-year blank period.

Wentworth thought he had done everything perfectly, but he overlooked one point: the headmaster's office of Hogwarts, like the Room of Requirement, was located on the eighth floor of Hogwarts Castle.

Just moments after Wentworth entered the Room of Requirement, two figures slowly appeared in front of the door of the Room of Requirement.

"Room of Requirement? Principal Dumbledore, Wentworth actually knew about such a hidden room? You know, many students don't know there is such a magical room in Hogwarts even after graduation."

Professor McGonagall asked in surprise, looking in the direction of the Room of Requirement.

But Dumbledore said without any hesitation:

"It's nothing. Perhaps someone from the wizarding party once studied at Hogwarts and told him the location of this room. Or perhaps he discovered it by accident after coming to school. It's even possible that it was a talent from Grindelwald's bloodline."

Seeing that McGonagall had a puzzled expression, Dumbledore continued to explain:

"Gellert Grindelwald was a famous prophet in the wizarding world. This was due to his blood talent, which can be seen from his unique eyes."

“Although Wentworth did not show any talent in this area before, this does not mean that he does not have this talent. Perhaps the sudden flash of inspiration he had was a glimpse of the future for him.”

After listening to Dumbledore's explanation, Professor McGonagall took a deep breath and sighed:

"What a terrifying family, what a terrifying opponent!"

Dumbledore on the side quickly corrected:

"No, no, Minerva, we are no match for Wentworth, at least not for now! Well, let's go back. What did you just tell me? Did you receive a letter from the Ministry of Magic?"

Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall walked towards the headmaster's office as they spoke.

"Yes, Principal Dumbledore. We just received a letter from the Ministry of Magic, saying that they will come to Hogwarts to check whether the students' safety is not guaranteed while they are at school! This is outrageous! This is naked suspicion and distrust! Where do they think this is? This is Hogwarts!"

Dumbledore picked up a piece at random, put it in his mouth, and then stretched out his hand to signal Professor McGonagall.

"Try the cake I got from Filius. I have to say that our Professor Flitwick's talent in appreciating desserts is slightly inferior to his level of magic, but it wins in terms of novelty, isn't it? You should try it too."

Professor McGonagall saw that Dumbledore seemed indifferent to what she had just said, and she frowned and said in a deep voice:

"Principal Dumbledore, I think you haven't understood the meaning of this letter yet! Someone is questioning Hogwarts. In fact, they are questioning you! Over the years, the Ministry of Magic has never given up the plan to expand its influence to Hogwarts!"

As for Professor McGonagall's reminder, Dumbledore waved his hand nonchalantly and said, "Okay, Professor McGonagall, don't be so nervous. Let me guess who the letter is from. If I'm not mistaken, it should be the head of the Auror Office, Thomas Revault, right? Let me think, hmm, he should be a graduate of Slytherin."

Hearing Dumbledore's guess, Professor McGonagall was shocked and asked involuntarily: "How do you know, Dumbledore?"

Dumbledore smiled confidently and said:

"Not only can I guess that it was Thomas who came, I can also guess that this must be Thomas's personal behavior, and the Ministry of Magic is unaware of it."

Seeing that Professor McGonagall seemed to be about to raise a question, Dumbledore did not wait for Professor McGonagall to speak and said directly: "Because Fudge has just come to power, he still needs my support so that he can sit firmly in the position of Minister of Magic of the United Kingdom. As for what will happen after he sits firmly in the position of Minister, I don't know, but at least now, he dare not come to Hogwarts to provoke me!"

When Dumbledore said this, he was calm but domineering, and his words revealed a meaning: without my consent, Fudge could not sit in the position of Minister of Magic! "How do you explain the letter tonight?"

Professor McGonagall took out a letter, which was delivered by an owl not long ago. Professor McGonagall was on her way to find Dumbledore with the letter when she met the sneaky Wentworth and informed Dumbledore.

Dumbledore took a look and said nonchalantly, "Minerva, I think you are overthinking things. You seem to have forgotten that Thomas Revault is Cassandra Revault's father! He is just a father who heard that his beloved daughter was slightly injured at school and wanted to come and see her. He also wanted to use his identity to put some pressure on the school. That's all!"

"Did he say when he was going to come?"

Dumbledore asked.

"The letter says that he will finish his official business tomorrow morning and come over in the afternoon."

Professor McGonagall replied.

Dumbledore smiled and said:

"He hasn't been back for so many years. Would he come back empty-handed to visit his teachers?"

Hearing Dumbledore's words, Professor McGonagall also laughed, which was rare.
