But soon, Wentworth reacted and said, "Of course, Principal Dumbledore, that's the Quidditch World Cup! It's held every four years! But, what does it have to do with me?"
Dumbledore looked into Wentworth's eyes and said slowly:
"Wentworth, you are still a child. Young people should do more things that young people should do. Don't let the future restrict your hands and feet. Otherwise, you will regret it in the future because you have missed a lot of things!"
"Your punishment today is to accompany me to watch the Quidditch World Cup final! What do you think?"
After hearing what Dumbledore said, Wentworth's first reaction was not surprise, but confusion! Although Wentworth was not very interested in Quidditch, he knew that being taken to the Quidditch World Cup by Dumbledore was like a pie falling from the sky on his head! But for Wentworth, who has an adult soul, the first reaction to the pie falling from the sky was, is this pie poisonous? He and Principal Dumbledore are not relatives, so there is no need for him to be so nice to an ordinary student! Could it be that Dumbledore discovered his secret as a time traveler? This doesn't make sense!
Thinking of this, Wentworth asked tentatively, "Principal Dumbledore, of course I like to go to the Quidditch World Cup, but it doesn't seem to be a punishment, is it inappropriate?"
Dumbledore said nonchalantly:
"How can it not be considered a punishment? You know, I am an old man over a hundred years old! Traveling far away is very tiring, and you are responsible for taking care of me on the road, so this is considered a punishment!"
Dumbledore's words were righteous, and Wentworth laughed inwardly.
God damn, you are over a hundred years old. You are over a hundred years old. I am afraid you are still the ceiling of the magic world! But since Dumbledore said so, Wentworth really had no other reason to refuse, so he could only say with a look of "surprise":
"Okay Headmaster Dumbledore, it's my pleasure! Let's get going!"
Just as Wentworth was about to turn around to help Dumbledore open the door, he was stopped by Dumbledore again! "Wentworth, you're going the wrong way, this way!"
Wentworth was stunned when he looked in the direction of Dumbledore's finger. He didn't know when a big fiery red bird appeared in the corner of the principal's office! Wentworth was sure that there was nothing there when he first entered the door! There was no doubt that this was Dumbledore's pet, the phoenix Fawkes!
Wentworth looked carefully at the legendary beast in front of him, and was amazed by its beauty. Just as Wentworth reached out his hand and wanted to touch it, his hand was suddenly held by Dumbledore.
"We should go, Wentworth, the game is about to start!"
As he spoke, Dumbledore placed his other hand on the phoenix Fawkes. With a phoenix cry, the two of them disappeared in the Hogwarts office.
When Wentworth felt grounded again, he and Dumbledore appeared at the edge of a meadow.
Right in front of the two people, beautiful fireworks were blooming in the sky, and under the fireworks there were countless tents pitched on the green lawn.
"Usually the Quidditch World Cup finals are held in August, which is before your school starts. Therefore, many Hogwarts students will come to watch. But unfortunately, this year's game has to be rescheduled to September due to weather reasons. I think many people in Hogwarts will have sleepless nights tonight!"
Dumbledore said as he led Wentworth towards where the crowd was gathering.
Wentworth followed Dumbledore closely and asked curiously:
"Principal Dumbledore, why don't I just Apparate and go in directly? Instead, why do I stay at the edge of the venue and then walk in?"
Wentworth stumbled involuntarily and said in surprise, "Principal Dumbledore, you don't have a ticket? How can we get in here?"
But Dumbledore said nonchalantly:
"It doesn't matter. Even though Dumbledore doesn't have a vote, the President of the International Confederation of Wizards does! What a coincidence! I'm the President of the International Confederation of Wizards!"
After hearing Dumbledore's explanation, Wentworth suddenly understood.
"I see. Others use ticket scanning, but we use face scanning!"
Just as Dumbledore and Wentworth were walking step by step towards the center of the venue, a large crowd of people appeared in front of them. Looking closely, everyone was dressed appropriately, and many of them were holding walking sticks in their hands, dressed like gentlemen.
The leader, a short and plump man, trotted towards Dumbledore with a smile on his face that was even a little flattering.
"Oh, Dumbledore, it's great that you can come! This will make tonight's game even more exciting! Before the game starts tonight, please be sure to say a few words!"
Dumbledore also said with a smile:
"Hello, Cornelius. Actually, I am only here with my students to watch the competition tonight. As for the speeches, it is better for you, Minister Fudge, to come and give them!"
After hearing what Dumbledore said, Fudge did not seem to feel regretful. Instead, his smile became even wider. He turned to look at Wentworth, his face still filled with a warm smile.
"It seems that this little wizard is not very old. Is he one of this year's freshmen? Seeing him reminds me of the days when I was studying at Hogwarts. It's really nostalgic!"
It was only then that Wentworth realized that the man in front of him was Cornelius Fudge, who had just been elected as the British Minister of Magic this year. Looking at his flattering expression towards Dumbledore, who could have thought that he would dare to turn against Dumbledore in the future.
And then, before Fudge could say anything more, many people behind Fudge could no longer hold back and came forward one by one. Some greeted Dumbledore very familiarly, while others wanted to introduce themselves first.
Wentworth was standing by, listening to their conversation with great interest, and also got to know many characters that appeared in the original novel.
For example, the man in front of you with long light blond hair, gray-blue eyes, and a slightly pale face - Lucius Malfoy.
Just as Wentworth was looking at Lucius with a playful expression, Lucius suddenly set his eyes on Wentworth.
"Principal Dumbledore, I rarely see you appear in public with Hogwarts students. I wonder who this little wizard is?"
Hearing Lucius' question, the people around turned their attention to Wentworth again.
