Bai Yajing led her people to the corner of the train station entrance.
He shoved the person into the alley.
"You attempted murder. Are you going to come with me to the police station to stand in jail, or are you going to apologize and pay compensation?"
When the man heard that he was going to see the police, his legs started to tremble. This was no small matter like yesterday's; it was an attempted murder!
He acted impulsively, and now he's starting to feel scared.
He backed away in terror, waving his arms wildly, shouting, "No! No, I don't want to go to the police station! I don't want to be locked up!"
The old woman also chased after them, and upon hearing this, she was so frightened that her legs went weak. She slapped her thigh and let out a loud howl.
"Oh my god! Isn't this bullying my old woman and her family? You're perfectly fine, why are you being so vicious?"
If my son were to be confined to a hut, our whole family would starve!
The young woman rushed over and pleaded, "Girl, please, have mercy on him! He knows he was wrong and really won't do it again!"
If the head of the household goes to jail, how will the mother and son survive?
Bai Yajing scoffed, her eyes full of mockery. "He was trying to kill me! I'm lucky I'm alright!"
I said, if you don't want to go to jail, you'd better pay compensation and apologize!
As soon as the old woman heard her agree, she quickly got up. She hadn't heard the whole thing; she had only heard "squat down" and had panicked, so she hadn't heard the rest of what she said.
"Girl, girl, we apologize, we apologize to you, just let my son go!"
As she spoke, she pulled the man down and made him bend over to apologize.
"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, little sister! Please forgive me! I'll never do it again!!"
The tall man was now completely terrified, his mind filled with thoughts of not wanting to squat in the fence...
The old woman and the young wife kept bowing and apologizing.
Bai Yajing gave a mocking smile. They were scared now because they didn't want to see the police. If they could beat her and escape, they definitely wouldn't be so obedient.
"Hmm, give me a hundred, and I'll let it go, as if this never happened."
One hundred is definitely a sum this family can afford. Although they are from the countryside, that chubby little boy's physique isn't something that's easy to achieve, so they're clearly well-off.
If we say too much, they might not be able to come up with anything and might just fight her head-on, resulting in a lose-lose situation.
The three people opposite them froze, exchanging bewildered glances, their eyes filled with pain and conflict...
Before the old woman could speak, Bai Yajing, already impatient, glared at her and said, "Give it to me or not? If not, come with me."
As she spoke, she reached out and pressed the man down again. The man kept backing away, but there was a dead end behind him, and he couldn't escape at all. The old woman quickly grabbed him.
In his excitement, his eyes almost popped out of their sockets. Seeing that she remained unmoved, he had no choice but to grit his teeth and nod, since he couldn't beat her or escape.
"Here you go! I'll give it to you, okay?!" She glared at her son. Why did he have to mess with this shrew?
After saying that, he shakily pulled a money pouch wrapped in a handkerchief from his bosom.
She peeled back the layers one by one, took out a money bag she had embroidered herself, opened it, counted the money over and over, and reluctantly handed it over before Bai Yajing's patience ran out.
Bai Yajing reached out to take it, but after tugging twice, she couldn't budge it...
"Cough cough!"
The old woman trembled when she heard her voice, and finally let go of her hand, her eyes filled with reluctance.
Bai Yajing took the money and left without saying a word.
She was also afraid that they would realize what had happened, and there would be no witnesses or physical evidence...
