Gu Youran was slightly stunned. She didn't expect that the song she composed would become a testimony of someone else's love.
"No problem." She agreed readily.
Shi Heng's expression remained gloomy, but under Gu Youran's insistent gaze, he finally said in a deep voice, "I'll arrange security."
"Of course I should!"
Qi Mo nodded repeatedly, "The venue is at the Emperor Club, starting at 8pm."
Before leaving, he bowed deeply to Gu Youran and said, "This will definitely be the most unforgettable birthday gift my wife has ever received."
When the office door was closed again, the air seemed to suddenly freeze.
“Snap—”
Shi Heng slammed the pen in his hand on the table, and ink splashed on the edge of the document.
Gu Youran sighed softly and walked around behind the desk.
She put her hand on Shi Heng's shoulder and could clearly feel the taut lines of his muscles.
"Are you angry?" She leaned over and whispered in his ear.
Shi Heng didn't answer, but his jawline tightened even more.
He reached for the coffee cup, but found that the coffee in it had already gone cold.
Gu Youran reached out and held down his hand as he was about to press the intercom line. "Don't call the secretary."
She picked up the cup and walked out, "I'll make you another cup."
Two minutes later.
She came back with steaming coffee, and the aroma of Shi Heng's favorite Blue Mountain coffee beans wafted from the cup.
I also added two sugar cubes, which is the sweetness that Shi Heng only wants when he is in a bad mood.
“I’m just going to sing a song.”
Gu Youran placed the coffee next to him and said, "Besides, aren't you going to send bodyguards to follow you?"
