Fu Anan stood in front of the door and continued to observe the zombies outside through the peephole.
The new zombie mutation took four hours, shortening the time again.
In addition to the gradual shortening of mutation time, Fu Anan also discovered something extremely important - the ability of sound to interfere with zombies seemed to have decreased.
The zombies were initially attracted by the thumping music at the rear of the ship, but quickly dispersed. As if guided by something, they gathered most in the kitchen and in front of her door.

The impact was so severe that other zombies swarmed in.
Fu Anan hurriedly moved away from the door, took out the toilet water, and sprinkled the whole bottle on the door.
The zombies continued to move, and the furniture blocking the door was shaking, as if the zombies were about to break in at the next moment.

Fu Anan took a kitchen knife and moved the table under the ventilation duct.
He happened to meet Fu Yizhi who had just returned from outside.
"What are you doing?"

Even though the door was blocked by the cabinets and sofas, the gap in the door was enough for one person to enter and exit. The zombies smelled the smell and squeezed into the room frantically.
Fu Anan followed Fu Yizhi, holding a kitchen knife. "Master Fu, be careful. I'll cover your rear!"
Fu Yizhi's pistol, silenced, fired a few times, followed by a muffled thud, and the zombie in front fell. The next moment, Fu Yizhi reached out and pulled the long table across the doorway, kicking the zombie at the entrance. The zombies behind him fell back like dominoes.
Fu Anan watched Fu Yizhi throw something outside and close the door in one smooth motion.
The loud music briefly attracted the zombies' attention. Fu Anan took out another bottle of insecticide and sprayed it at the door.
"What's going on?"
Fu Yizhi smelled the smell and took two steps back.
"These zombies are evolving!" Fu Anan looked at the two corpses at the door with lingering fear, and sprayed insecticide on Fu Yizhi.
Seeing that he was disgusted, there was nothing I could do. "Just make do with it. I'm out of toilet water, so I can only use this to cover up the smell."
"Have they evolved their sense of smell?"
"Yeah." Fu Anan nodded. "I think to be more precise, this virus has been evolving."
Fu Anan took out her notes and said, "It's not just the sense of smell that has become stronger. According to my records, it took Brother Li two and a half days to be infected by the virus, and less than two days to infect Doctor Song and Master Zhu. The further back in time, the shorter the time it takes for the virus to mutate, and now it's been less than four hours."
Fu Yizhi took the record written by Fu Anan and looked at it. "You wrote it very carefully."
