Chapter 16 Sailing Carnival 16
"Master Fu, I've actually always had an immature little idea." Fu Anan said as he obediently dragged the corpses to the door. His eyes drifted over the heads of the two corpses, trying his best not to look at the intestines and internal organs that flowed out after their stomachs were cut open.
Fu Yizhi: "If it's immature, then don't say it."
Fu Anan: ...Then I have to say it.
"I've counted the zombies outside, a total of 169. It's certainly a lot, but not so many that we can't control them. If we find a way to turn our defense into an offense...is it possible to kill 20 zombies a day?"
"That's a good idea. Go by yourself."
"I...you can't say that!" Fu Anan widened his eyes.
"If you can convince those guys in the kitchen to come out and fight together, then this plan might be okay."
As soon as Fu Yizhi finished speaking, there was a sudden burst of noise outside the door.
"Damn it, there are still people alive in this cabin! They've attracted all the zombies here!"
Fu Anan was startled when she heard the voice inside and turned to look at Fu Yizhi, "You just threw a phone, right? Where did you throw it?"
"Just threw it casually, it seems to be heading towards the kitchen." Fu Yizhi said lightly.
Fu Anan: ...There is no chance of alliance.
Fu Anan no longer dared to get too close to the door. She sat in the room listening to the movements in the kitchen until she heard running sounds outside the door. After several screams, it was quiet outside again.
"Did you throw it on purpose?" Fu Anan looked at Fu Yizi.
"The fourth rule of the survival game: This is an individual game. Don't easily form an alliance with anyone, and don't trust any outsiders." Fu Yizhi stood up, picked up the backpack beside him and put the two bottles of water on it.
Fu Anan looked at him like this and asked, "Are you leaving?"
"What else? Share a bed with you?" Fu Yizhi raised the corner of his mouth slightly and smiled contemptuously.
How does this person speak?
Fu Anan took a deep breath and said, "This is for you."
Fu Yizhi looked at the instant noodles that Fu Anan handed over and took it. "One last reminder. I suggest you don't be too kind."
It's not like she's kind to everyone.
Fu Anan was about to retort when the room was empty. She glanced at the open vent and decided it was better to leave. At least she wouldn't have to be on guard against an outsider at all times.
Bang, bang—
The sound of zombies crashing came from outside again. Fu Anan looked at the zombie corpses sitting in a row at the door. Because the zombies were still evolving, they might break in at any time, which made people nervous.
Day 23 of Sea Survival
The zombies banged on the door three or four times. Fortunately, the smell of the zombie corpses at the door prevented them from persisting. However, this also caused Fu Anan to stay awake almost all night.
However, the smell of living people in the kitchen was more attractive to zombies than her. The frantic banging on the door could be heard almost every moment outside the kitchen. It was unknown how much longer the people inside could hold out.
But there was one thing Fu Anan was quite sure of at this moment - she wanted to leave this cabin!
After working as a food delivery girl on the ship for a few days, she had a good understanding of the structure of the entire freighter, so it should be no problem for her to avoid the zombies and get to the deck.
There was a sharp sound of nails hitting the door. Fu Anan frowned uncomfortably, stood up and began to prepare equipment to go out.
First, I dismantled a table and wrapped the kitchen knife with tape. The half-meter-long handle, combined with the large kitchen knife used for chopping bones, gave people the illusion of an axe.
It felt pretty good, Fu Anan waved it and then put it aside.
After these days of consumption, two of the six spaces have been vacated. Fu Anan looked around the room and took whatever he could use.
