Extra 1

Extra 1

Two years later.

Imperial Starfield, a certain planet.

"Your Highness, everything is ready," the steward said.

"Okay, let's go." Yu Si said calmly, and boarded the starship without looking back.

His tone was indifferent, as if he didn't care. Others might really think so, but the butler who had been by his side for many years would not think so.

His Highness has been staying on this small planet for two years, basically isolated from the world. This is the first time he has "emerged from seclusion" and returned to the public eye.

The journey from here to the capital city isn't far, but they still got stuck in traffic.

The starships stopped at the entrance to the Imperial Capital Star. As far as the eye could see, there were huge starships everywhere. Whether they were in front of or behind them, they were all luxurious starships. Anyone who saw them would recognize that these starships had come from the United Kingdom.

They all rushed over to attend the Imperial Prince's second birthday banquet.

The butler couldn't help but step forward and say, "Your Highness, should we inform the officers? It might take a long time to get here."

The pale-faced youth had a faint expression.

Even the butler who had been with him for many years couldn't guess Yu Si's answer at this moment.

Yu Si didn't rush to speak. He stood on the starship's control panel, looking out the window at the starships lined up in front of him. He recognized some of them, but not others. He and his group were stuck in the middle. Apart from them, all the other starships here had come from the United Kingdom.

The starships at the port of entry moved slowly, and the Imperial Army carried out security checks at a leisurely pace.

Looking at the uniforms of the Imperial Army, Yu Si suddenly felt as if he had been transported to another world. A smile appeared on his face, and he was about to say something to the butler when he felt a tightness in his lungs. Before he could react, several violent coughs rang out from his lungs.

The steward's expression changed drastically, and he quickly helped Yu Si up, "Your Highness!"

Yu Si shook her hand, her face pale, and said, "It's nothing."

It's probably because the surrounding air is too thin, or because I've been standing for too long.

Compared to his previous condition, he is much better now.

"Shouldn't we at least let the military know? You've finally recovered, and we've been waiting here for so long—"

Before the butler could finish speaking, Yu Si said calmly, "Yes, go ahead."

The butler was taken aback, not expecting Yu Si to agree so readily this time. He was momentarily stunned and stared blankly at Yu Si before quickly saying, "Yes! I'll send someone over right away."

Yu Si lowered his eyes and stopped looking at the scenery outside the window.

He probably wouldn't have done this before.

He didn't want to use his identity as the Imperial Prince, but two years was both a long and a short time.

Many things I couldn't understand before, I suddenly understand now.

Yu Si was helped to the sofa by the butler. He stared at the silver ceiling of the starship. For some reason, some images suddenly appeared in his mind. These were the dreams he had every night during his two years of recuperation. Sometimes they were continuous, and sometimes they were very unfamiliar scenes and things.

In the dream, he was still Yu Si, but some things were suddenly different.

In the dream, Hughes failed to ascend the throne. Instead, at the most crucial moment, he clashed with the Council of Elders because the Pope possessed Elder Gao and killed him. However, the Council of Elders unanimously believed that Hughes was behind it, in order to undermine the Council's power.

One conflict after another occurred, and the empire began to descend into internal strife; Hughes even went mad.

What's even more special is that girl...

It's different from what I dreamed about.

The image of Xia Qian appeared in the young man's mind.

Xia Qian is different from the Xia Qian in the dream. Her face is the same, but her eyes and expression are completely different, as if she has become a completely different person. She also led Hughes to another ending, a completely different ending from the one in the dream.

"Your Highness, we have arrived."

The imperial palace stood solemnly and tall. Stepping inside, one could see maids bustling about, while imperial ministers received distinguished guests from various countries, and laughter filled the palace.

The palace seemed unchanged, yet it also seemed to have changed a lot.

As you walk further in, you can vaguely see children playing, and the air seems to be filled with a faint milky aroma.

"Mommy! Mommy, hug me!"

A soft, childlike voice came from not far away. Yu Si looked in the direction of the sound and was caught off guard by this scene: a woman with long hair reaching her waist, wearing a long dress—it was Xia Qian.

She was holding a tiny, soft, white baby in her arms, like a little dumpling. Was this Hughes and Xia Qian's son? The little star of today's birthday party?

As Yu Si looked at the little dumpling, the little dumpling noticed him too, and said in his childish voice, "Mommy, there's a stranger watching us."

As soon as the little dumpling finished speaking, everyone who hadn't noticed before looked over in the direction of the little dumpling's gaze and saw Yu Si standing there. The maids quickly bowed their heads and said, "Your Highness!"

The little boy frowned, his tiny head completely bewildered as to why so many older girls recognized this stranger, yet he had no recollection of him whatsoever.

“This is Dad’s older brother, your uncle,” Xia Qian said.

The little dumpling politely greeted, "Hello, Uncle!"

Xia Qian pinched his cheek. "He's Dad's older brother, not his uncle."

"Hello, Uncle!" The little boy frowned, seemingly finding the way to address him quite troublesome.

The little bun has black hair and black eyes, a delicate little face, and bright black eyes. Just standing there, it looks nine-tenths like Hughes, like a mini version of Hughes, exactly like Hughes when he was a child.

It's easy to see how many girls' hearts this little dumpling will steal when he grows up.

But the little baby didn't exist in my dream.

In the dream, Heus died alone.

Yu Si pursed his lips, his eyes lowered, his long bangs obscuring his gaze, making it impossible for anyone to see his eyes clearly.

He looked at Xia Qian, his voice hoarse, "Is it convenient for us to talk further?"

He had never told anyone, nor did he intend to, but the dream felt incredibly real, completely unlike any he had ever had before, as if it had actually happened...

The other maids, with their keen senses, quickly withdrew and stood guard at a distance. At the same time, the little dumpling in Xia Qian's arms spoke up in a soft, sweet voice, "The other maid sisters have all left, so I'll leave too."

The little dumpling clutched the toy in its hand, saying, "I'm going to go play with Pombe and the others."

No sooner had the words left her mouth than the little dumpling took its first two steps, but then turned back and said, "Mommy, Uncle, I'm leaving!"

"But," the little dumpling paused, recalling her father's appearance, narrowed her eyes, exuding a dangerous aura, even revealing her two sharp little baby teeth fiercely, and warned, "Uncle, you can't bully my mom when my father and I aren't here. I'm very strong. Super fierce!"

The baby's voice was soft and childish, as if the baby had just been soaked in a baby bottle.

Yu Si chuckled, silently bent down, and looked the little dumpling in front of her at eye level. "I wouldn't dare to bully your mother."

The little dumpling turned its head away, "Hmph, that's for the best."

"Dad said that Mom is our family's little darling."

Xia Qian's face flushed red. Before she could say anything, the little dumpling quickly and scurried away.

It really is!

What does Hughes usually teach?

When she catches him, she'll definitely interrogate him about what he's been teaching their son.

"You must be wondering why I came to you, right?" Yu Si's voice suddenly rang out, extremely clear in the quiet surroundings. "I had a dream. I dreamt that I fell in love with someone. For that person, I was willing to turn against the Empire, and even if my parents objected and disapproved, I didn't care."

Xia Qian was taken aback.

This is the original plot!

Yu Si dreamed about the plot of the original work!

"I find it so strange." The young man suddenly lowered his head, his pale, handsome face reflected in the pool. Looking at his own face, he said in a low voice, "My mother was attacked when she was pregnant with me, and her vital energy was severely damaged, so I've been sickly and weak since I was a child. But my parents didn't despise me; they loved me very much, and I've always been very filial to them since I was little, I..."

His voice paused, utterly bewildered, "I don't understand why I became like that, turning against my parents and brothers for a woman."

He looked up at Xia Qian and asked, "Aren't you curious about who that person is?"

His gaze was inquisitive. "After having that dream, I always had this inexplicable feeling that you seemed to know something."

"What could Xia Xia possibly know?" A deep voice suddenly rang out, startling both Xia Qian and Yu Si. Before they could react, a tall, slender figure had already landed in front of them. The deep voice continued, "This is your own dream, brother. What could she possibly know?"

Xia Qian stared in astonishment at the suddenly appearing Hughes. What was he doing here? Shouldn't he be in a meeting in the main hall at this time?

"How did you end up here?" The meeting never seems to end this early.

"I came to see you," the young man said, his large hand around her waist. "I need you to come with me to meet a guest."

"Oh," Xia Qian replied.

Yu Siji tactfully excused himself, saying, "Then I'll head to the banquet first."

As they said this, the brothers' eyes met, as if they were communicating silently. But in an instant, they looked away from each other without saying another word and parted ways.

Yu Si turned and left, the doubt and confusion that had been hidden in his eyes when he came over vanished in that instant.

He looked up at the sky and suddenly realized that he had gotten the answer he wanted. Hughes said it was a dream, and it was just a dream.

There's no need to dwell on this dream anymore.

At the same time, the couple watched Yu Si's departing figure. Just then, Hughes's long, slender hand moved from her waist to take her hand, saying, "Xiaxia, come and accompany me to meet a distinguished guest."

"Wait! Did you also dream about something?"

Yu Sidu dreamed about it, and as the absolute protagonist of this world, it was impossible for Hughes to have no reaction at all.

He must have dreamed about something too.

But if that happens, what will he think of her?

Yu Si noticed her difference, so what about Xiu Si?

A large hand suddenly touched the top of her head. "What's wrong? Why aren't you saying anything all of a sudden?"

"Did you dream about it? The dream he was talking about?"

"Mm," the young man replied in a low voice.

Xia Qian felt like she was going to die!

Her little head unconsciously lowered even further.

"Even Yu Si thinks I'm strange, don't you think so?" Xia Qian clenched her little hands, looking at her toes, and inexplicably recalled how she felt on the first day she came into this world.

Afraid of being discovered.

She was afraid of being discovered to be different from the original person.

So at first, she was very worried every day, but over time, after staying by Hughes's side for so long, he didn't notice and gradually forgot. In fact, if Yu Si hadn't reminded her, Xia Qian wouldn't have remembered at all.

She is not from this world.

What's even more frightening is, when did Yu Si dream of this? Two years ago? Or even earlier?

If Hughes also dreamed about it, then did he discover it long ago?

So it wasn't that she didn't slip up, but that Hughes didn't say it.

She's so stupid!!

How could she be so stupid!

Are you scared?

He lowered his brows, his gaze seemingly fixed on her, his long, slender hand stroking the top of her head. "Why be afraid? I noticed a long time ago that Xiaxia was different from before, but so what? I love you the way you are now."

"Having that dream won't change anything. I don't like celestial music. I didn't like it before, I don't like it now, and I never will."

I really have no feelings for her.

It has nothing to do with the Celestial Maiden's faction; it's just that I have no feelings for this person and don't like her.

“But I like Xiaxia,” he said, bending down in a low voice.

He wrapped his arms around her waist, his cold lips pressed against her earlobe, and what's worse, the hand on her waist slowly moved upwards.

"Xiu, Xiu Si—"

"This is a garden!"

Someone could walk by at any time! They might see you.

She nudged the young man's shoulder and said softly, "Aren't we going to see the guests? If this continues, the guests won't be able to wait any longer."

But the other person didn't care at all, instead hugging her even tighter and biting her small earlobe with his lips, "I was just kidding, there were no guests."

“But now I have one.” Hughes said in a low voice as he listened to the shouts not far away and the increasingly close footsteps. “Help me hide from an important guest.”

What distinguished guest?

Xia Qian was taken aback. Before she could turn around, she was led away by Hughes.

When she realized what was happening, her back was against a tree, which completely obscured their figures.

A familiar child's voice slowly drifted over, "Mommy! Mommy!"

The soft footsteps spread around, and who else could it be but their son, bouncing around on his short little legs calling out to people?

They were hiding behind the giant tree, and from this angle, no one could spot them.

The murderer even relaxed and nestled on her shoulder, his chin lightly touching her ear. Not only that, but he also went too far by touching her lips, saying, "Xiaxia, you can't make a sound."

They were so close that their breaths sprayed onto her, making Xia Qian's body go limp. But Hughes touched her lips, preventing her from speaking.

Happy second anniversary.

Xia Qian was taken aback.

Before she could react, Hughes' lips were already on hers, pressing against hers. He didn't rush to go deeper, but instead gave her a light touch, followed by his burning gaze, as if he wanted to devour her whole.

“I like you very much today too,” Hughes said.

And it will be the same in the future.

Happy second anniversary.

There will be many more anniversaries in the future.

over.
