Qin Sui’an woke up naturally, finding herself alone in the spacious bedroom.
She no longer felt afraid.
Emerging from her cozy bed, her petite figure reached for the pink mobile phone on the bedside table and skillfully dialed a video call.
Upon hearing the commotion, the old man floated in from outside the window.
"Oh my, Ann is awake!"
"Good morning, old man," Ann’s voice was still a bit muffled, holding the phone and waiting for the person on the other end to answer. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
"Good morning," the old man approached her, not disturbing her further, and looked at her affectionately.
Qin Haochen had just left not long ago, heading to the Qin Corporation.
He received a video call from Little Ann before he could even press the answer button, and a smile began to form at the corners of his mouth.
The screen flickered, capturing the adorable and drowsy appearance of Little Ann when she had just woken up.
He chuckled, "Ann, good morning."
"Good morning, Daddy," Qin Sui’an pressed her face against the screen, "Ann is awake."
"Your Second Brother is outside the bedroom," Qin Haochen had instructed Qin Yanyi to take care of Little Ann when he left.
Holding the phone, Qin Sui’an lingered in bed for a while.
When her stomach growled, she ended the video call and climbed out of bed with a playful demeanor.
Instead of immediately leaving the bedroom to find her Second Brother, she went to the washroom first, diligently brushing her teeth and washing her face before stepping out of the bedroom.
Qin Yanyi sat in the living room outside the bedroom, engrossed in reading medical books.
When he saw her emerge from the bedroom, he quickly stood up, furrowing his brows in regret.
"Ann is awake? I was too absorbed in my reading and didn’t notice."
"Second Brother," Qin Sui’an was still wearing her cute pajamas, with a large water stain on the front of her collar from brushing her teeth and washing her face.
Qin Yanyi gently touched it, feeling the dampness.
In the past, he might have been a bit germophobic, but now he couldn’t help but smile, not minding at all.
He lifted Ann up in his arms.
"Let’s change clothes first."
Taking her back to the bedroom, Qin Yanyi helped her put on a clean little dress.
Then, carrying her out of the room, they walked downstairs to the dining room for breakfast.
Qin Fujia had been taken by Qin Fujia to meditate and chant scriptures, while the others were still asleep.
Qin Sui’an drank her milk and obediently ate the food fed by her Second Brother.
She was extremely well-behaved.
Before they could finish breakfast, the sound of an engine could be heard from outside.
Qin Sui’an’s little ears perked up, and she swallowed the food in her mouth, speaking in a childish voice, "Fifth Brother is back home!"
Qin Yanyi glanced outside and indeed saw the figure of his fifth brother, Qin Yaoyu.
Qin Yaoyu had been busy with a good cause these past few days, finally accomplishing his task and maximizing the value of one billion dollars.
He strode into the villa and asked the nearest bodyguard, "Is Ann awake?"
The bodyguard respectfully replied, "Master Yaoyu, Miss An’an is awake and in the dining room."
Qin Yaoyu turned and quickly walked towards the dining room.
"Ann, I’m back!"
"Good morning, Fifth Brother," Qin Sui’an held up her milk bottle and greeted him happily.
"Haven’t seen you in a few days, Ann seems to have gained a little weight," Qin Yaoyu leaned closer to her, patting her small head and then her cheek, "Not bad, not bad.
Eat more, being chubby is cute!"
"Yes," Qin Sui’an earnestly agreed, taking big gulps of milk with her pacifier.
Qin Yaoyu pulled out the chair next to her and looked at the second person in the dining room.
"Second Brother, are you not busy today?"
"I cleared my schedule for today," Qin Yanyi fed Ann some other food, "Sixth Brother said you made a fortune."
Qin Qianyi had mentioned once, that the NYC project had earned him quite a bit.
"Second Brother, you wouldn’t even care about this amount of money," Qin Yaoyu took out his phone and opened a page, "Second Brother, I’ve found another opportunity. Are you interested? This time, it will increase by ten times compared to last time!"
