Chapter 178: The Melodious Voice of Ann!

Qin Sui’an was delighted that her grandparents didn’t find fault with the big white goose.

She still remembered when she went to the Shao family to ask for little apples, Mrs. Shao loudly remarked that the big white goose was dirty, and she overheard it.

But the big white goose wasn’t dirty at all!

The big white goose was clean, its whole body was pure white!

Qin Sui’an looked at the big white goose and asked, "Is the big white goose hungry?"

"Ga! Not hungry."

It was a little hungry, but it didn’t bring its food along, so it would be quite troublesome to eat.

After all, what it ate was different from what humans ate.

But it didn’t matter, they would soon return to Bay Villa, so it wasn’t a big problem!

The big white goose wanted to remind Ann that they had been away from Bay Villa for several hours and should go back.

However, when it looked up and saw Ann’s happy expression, it couldn’t bear to dampen her spirits.

Forget it, it wouldn’t hurt to let Ann be happy for a little while longer!

Ye Yanzhi’s appetite today was beyond the ordinary.

Not only did he finish the leftover lunch on the table, but he also ate the remaining half of the bread that Ann had left.

He felt too full to sit still, so he stood up and paced back and forth in the living room.

Old Madam Ye looked at him with amusement and said, "If you can’t eat anymore, don’t force yourself. Isn’t it better now?"

After laughing, she sent a message asking Lucy to bring some digestive tablets.

Ye Yanzhi was in a good mood, even though his stomach was uncomfortable, his lips still maintained an upward curve.

Qin Sui’an had just woken up before lunch and wasn’t sleepy at all.

She followed her grandfather playfully, taking small steps.

Seeing this, Ye Yanzhi’s smile deepened. When Lucy returned with the digestive tablets, she saw this scene: Ye Yanzhi walking slowly into the living room with Young Lady by his side, while Old Madam Ye sat on the sofa, watching them with a smile.

This warm and relaxed scene hadn’t appeared in the Ye family for several years.

Lucy suppressed the sourness in her nose, placed the digestive tablets on the table, and poured two cups of warm water.

She picked up the bag that Old Madam Ye had brought and skillfully took out the pill dispenser, placing it on the table.

After doing all this, Lucy quietly left the sick room.

Old Madam Ye tapped the water cup with the back of her hand and then looked at her husband, "Take your medicine first."

Ye Yanzhi hesitated for a moment, bent down and rubbed Ann’s head, then sat down on the sofa.

While he was taking the digestive tablets, Old Madam Ye also took her medicine.

Qin Sui’an curiously looked at her grandfather and then at her grandmother, "Are Grandpa and Grandma sick too?"

Old Madam Ye remained calm and smiled as she replied, "Your grandpa ate too much and needs to take some digestive tablets, and as for me, it’s just because of my age, I need to take some vitamins to supplement my body."

Ye Yanzhi paused for a moment and echoed her words, "Yes, some vitamins."

Qin Sui’an suddenly remembered something and immediately brought her piggy backpack over, flipping through it.

"Oh no..." She put down the piggy backpack, "Second Brother forgot to bring Ann’s medicine."

Her Second Brother Qin Yanyi was a skilled doctor.

Both Ye Yanzhi and Old Madam Ye’s expressions changed abruptly, and they asked in concern at the same time, "Is Ann sick?"

After asking in unison, Old Madam Ye got up and came to Ann’s side, anxiously looking her up and down, "Where does it hurt, Ann?"

Ye Yanzhi also stood up and walked towards the door, preparing to have his assistant call the doctor to personally examine Ann.

"Ann is not sick, Grandma and Grandpa, don’t worry."

Qin Sui’an quickly shook her little head and waved her hand, explaining earnestly, "Just like Grandma, Ann is taking vitamins! and calcium tablets!"

Old Madam Ye immediately breathed a sigh of relief and smiled helplessly, "So that’s it."

Ye Yanzhi stopped in his tracks and turned back, asking, "Should we still have the doctor come and prescribe some vitamins and calcium tablets for Ann?"

Old Madam Ye pondered for a moment and nodded, "Invite Professor Yuan Bing to come."

Professor Yuan Bing was a pediatric specialist.

Qin Yanyi had already prescribed vitamins and calcium tablets, so there was no need to repeat the prescription to avoid any conflicts.

But they could also have Professor Yuan Bing give Ann a simple check-up.

Ye Yanzhi agreed with her idea, opened the door to the sick room, and instructed Jie Hansi to bring Professor Yuan Bing over.

Jie Hansi acted quickly, and with the direct elevator, it didn’t take much time.

Ten minutes later, he brought Professor Yuan Bing to the sick room.

Perhaps due to long-term contact with children, Professor Yuan Bing had a kind smile on her face.

When she saw Ann sitting obediently on the sofa, her special patient for today, her smile widened, and the wrinkles around her eyes became more pronounced.

"Old Madam, Sir," Professor Yuan Bing greeted Old Madam Ye and Ye Yanzhi briefly.

Then, she approached Ann, bending her knees and tilting her head slightly to look at her.

"What is your name, little one? Can you tell Grandma?" She asked.

"Of course," Qin Sui’an replied in a sweet and gentle voice, "Doctor Grandma, Daddy said that Mommy and Daddy hope for Ann to be safe and sound every year, so they named me Qin Sui’an."

Her response took everyone present by surprise.

Old Madam Ye and Ye Yanzhi had heard their daughter, Ye Chaosi, explain the meaning behind naming Ann this way.

After more than three years, hearing it explained by Ann himself, they couldn’t help but become teary-eyed simultaneously. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Old Madam Ye took a deep breath and suddenly stood up, walking towards the restroom.

Ye Yanzhi’s worried gaze followed her until the restroom door closed.

Qin Sui’an noticed the subtle change in the adults’ emotions.

She pursed her lips and asked softly, "Grandpa, did Ann say something wrong?"

"No, Ann did great. Your mom and dad indeed wish for you to be safe every year,"

Ye Yanzhi gently embraced her small body.

"Your grandma just has a stomachache and went to the restroom."

Professor Yuan Bing timely interjected, "Little one, can Grandma also call you Ann?"

"Sure," Qin Sui’an nodded her little head.

Since Old Madam Ye temporarily left, Professor Yuan Bing didn’t rush to examine Ann’s health.

Instead, she casually chatted with her, saying, "Ann, tell Grandma, how many bottles of milk do you drink in a day?"

"Five bottles!" Qin Sui’an replied without hesitation.

"Second Brother gave Ann many, many cows, and Ann can drink lots and lots of milk in a day."

Ye Yanzhi was taken aback.

"Cows?"

It seemed that there was such a thing.

It was said that the Qin family had purchased hundreds of cows and kept them in their Bay Villa.

So, it was true?

"Yes, big, big cows," Qin Sui’an gestured with her hands, "They are so big, even bigger than Ann."

Her innocent words made both of them burst into laughter.

Ye Yanzhi didn’t oppose the Qin family’s approach.

Milk produced and consumed by themselves was indeed more reassuring than buying it from outside.

Professor Yuan Bing noticed the small milk bottles placed aside.

The bottles were no bigger than an adult’s palm.

Considering that she drank five bottles a day, it would only amount to around 500 milliliters of milk.

She gently held Ann’s hands, squeezing her palm.

They were chubby but not overly fat.

With five bottles of milk a day, along with regular meals, her nutrition would be more than sufficient in the long run.

She had more weight than just this little amount.
