Qin Qianyi pretended to carry Ann into the villa.
Qin Yanyi stepped forward to stop him, saying, "Put Ann down, let me check on her."
Qin Qianyi couldn’t refuse and had no reason to refuse.
Reluctantly, he squatted down and gently placed Ann on the ground.
Qin Yanyi carefully examined her and after a while, came to a conclusion, "Ann is hungry."
Qin Sui’an’s eyes immediately lit up, and she nodded her little head, saying, "Second Brother is amazing!"
Qin Yanyi couldn’t help but laugh. It was just about mealtime, so it was natural for her to be hungry.
He didn’t expect Ann to be so innocent, looking at him with admiration and sparkling eyes.
Qin Haochen walked over from behind and bent down to pick up Ann, saying, "Let’s go, let’s have dinner first."
In the dining room, the table was filled with delicious and fragrant food.
Qin Sui’an sat in a children’s high chair, curiously looking around, and then asked in confusion, "Where are Grandpa and Grandma? Are they not at home?"
Everyone fell silent for a moment, and all six of her brothers turned their heads to Qin Haochen, giving him the authority to answer.
Qin Haochen was momentarily speechless.
What filial children they were.
Seeing her brothers looking at their father, Qin Sui’an followed suit and looked at him with her round eyes, patiently waiting.
Qin Haochen handed her a bottle and softly said, "Your grandmother is feeling a little unwell and resting in her room. Your grandfather is with her."
Qin Sui’an didn’t rush to drink the fragrant milk.
Her little eyebrows furrowed nervously as she asked, "Is Grandma sick?"
"Your Second Brother has checked on her, and it’s nothing serious, but she needs a few days of rest."
Qin Haochen gently patted her small head to comfort her.
Qin Sui’an held her breath and understood.
Her baby voice automatically turned into a soft tone as she said, "We mustn’t disturb Grandma."
The others immediately nodded and followed her lead, lowering their voices.
During dinner, with the arrival of Ann, the atmosphere became harmonious and warm.
However, everyone spoke in hushed tones, trying not to raise their voices.
Although they knew that the villa had good soundproofing, and their grandmother resting upstairs wouldn’t be disturbed by them, they still followed Ann’s words obediently.
After finishing dinner, Qin Sui’an immediately climbed up to the second floor.
Lan Jin and Qin Huo’s room was also on the second floor.
She tiptoed carefully, approaching their room.
The room door was not tightly closed, leaving a small gap.
Qin Sui’an dared not make a sound, afraid of disturbing her grandmother’s rest.
She gently pushed open the door with her little hand and peeked inside with her small head.
In addition to the bedroom, her grandparents’ room was quite spacious, with a living room and a reading area next to it.
At this moment, a middle-aged woman was sitting in the living room, resting with her eyes closed.
Qin Sui’an curiously looked at her, her round eyes filled with confusion.
She was someone she had never seen before.
As if sensing something, the middle-aged woman opened her eyes and turned her head towards the door.
She saw a delicate Ann hiding behind the door, blinking her round grape-like eyes, staring at her with a puzzled expression.
The middle-aged woman was momentarily stunned, then stood up and smiled as she softly called out, "Miss An’an."
Qin Sui’an initially found the voice familiar, then suddenly realized and softly said, "Oh, you are Grandma’s family doctor."
During the first phone call with Grandma, someone was speaking beside her, and she remembered that voice.
"Miss An’an is so clever," Han Ning, the family doctor of Lan Jin, showed surprise.
This was the first time Han Ning had seen Qin’s granddaughter.
If she didn’t know that the Qin family only had one precious daughter, she might not have guessed the identity of Ann.
But Ann immediately guessed who she was.
Qin Sui’an usually walked silently, but now she deliberately tiptoed, quietly entering the room.
She worriedly furrowed her little eyebrows and glanced towards the bedroom, asking softly, "Doctor Sister, is Grandma feeling better?"
Han Ning immediately replied, "Old Madam is much better now, Miss An’an can rest assured."
"That’s good," Qin Sui’an breathed a sigh of relief, patting her little belly, and continued, "Doctor Sister, you can continue sleeping, Ann will go see Grandma."
Han Ning initially wanted to follow her, but upon hearing her words, she sat back down.
"All right, Miss An’an."
Qin Sui’an approached the bedroom door stealthily, just like before, first poking her little head out and peering inside.
The bedroom was quiet, with only a layer of soft gauze curtains drawn.
Occasionally, a gentle breeze blew in through the window, causing the gauze to flutter lightly.
Lan Jin lay on the bed, and Qin Huo sat by her side, occasionally using the back of his hand to touch her forehead.
Sensing someone approaching, Qin Huo turned his head and saw Ann.
He was momentarily stunned, then smiled, "Ann?"
"Grandpa," Qin Sui’an called out in a childish voice.
Qin Huo saw her standing at the door and not moving, so he waved his hand, "Come over quickly."
Immediately, he saw Ann skillfully tiptoeing, walking into the bedroom adorably and cautiously.
The smile on Qin Huo’s lips unconsciously widened a bit.
"Ann, you don’t have to be so careful. Grandma won’t be easily disturbed by you."
Ignoring his words, Qin Sui’an slowly approached the bedside, lowering her childish voice, she said seriously, "Grandpa, please speak softly. Daddy said Grandma needs to rest."
Qin Huo cooperated by lowering his voice, "All right, all right, Grandpa will speak softly."
Qin Sui’an looked at her sleeping grandmother and pouted softly, "Is it because of Ann that Grandma is feeling unwell?"
The clever and sensitive Ann had sensed it before.
Grandma’s poor health was because of her, as she had gone far away to take care of herself.
Now that she had returned home and heard that Grandma was unwell, she immediately thought it was because of her.
"How could that be?"
Qin Huo immediately shook his head, comforting her, "Your Grandma has this old ailment. Whenever she gets excited, it happens. Resting for two or three days will make her better."
Qin Sui’an sniffled quietly, extended her little hand, and held Grandma’s hand.
"Ann won’t do this again next time. Grandma, please get better soon."
On her wrist, the silver bracelet emitted a faint light that was invisible to the naked eye, gradually enveloping their joined hands.
Lan Jin’s fingertips moved gently, and after a while, she slowly opened her eyes, "Ann..."
Qin Sui’an looked up, her expression slightly dazed, then quickly asked, "Did Ann wake Grandma up?"
"No..."
Lan Jin shook her head slightly, her gaze falling on Ann’s reddened eyes, and she asked with concern, "Why are you crying? Ann, who bullied you?"
