Ye Rongyuan’s dark circles weren’t from sleeping on the couch. He had slept on the couch the night before, and despite feeling sore all over and uncomfortable, he was surprisingly spirited.
Upon hearing little one’s concerned question, Ye Rongyuan felt warm inside. Happily, he moved closer and took the opportunity to hug her, "Wuwuwu, Ann cares about me the most."
Old Mrs. Ye couldn’t help but roll her eyes at his teasing.
Just as little one had finished eating, she was worried that her younger son might not control his strength well and spoke up, "Don’t squeeze Ann too tight."
"Exactly! Mom, you only care about Ann." Ye Rongyuan pouted childishly and then carefully released his hold on little one. He didn’t squeeze hard, but considering how small little one’s arms and legs were, it wouldn’t be good if he accidentally hurt her.
After checking to ensure little one was unharmed, Ye Rongyuan explained to her, "I slept well last night originally, but Ou Yangfu seemed to have drunk too much and went crazy, calling me multiple times and disturbing my sleep."
Qin Sui’an’s big eyes glanced around. The name "Ou Yangfu" matched with "Uncle Crazy." She suddenly realized and said in her sweet voice, "Oh, Uncle Crazy went crazy~"
"Haha..." Ye Rongyuan chuckled at her earnest tone and nodded in agreement, "Yes, you could say that."
Just as he finished speaking, his phone suddenly vibrated several times.
He had delegated all his work to his assistant these days, or postponed handling it. Ye Rongyuan wondered if Ou Yangfu was sending him more messages again.
He took out his phone, opened the new message, and as he had guessed, it was from Ou Yangfu. However, the content had nothing to do with Ou Yangfu. It was two photos: one of Old Mr. Ou drinking milk from a transparent cup, and another of him standing in the dairy farm with the cows behind him.
[Ou Yangfu: My dad insisted I send you these two photos. Please show them to Ann. [Shrugging emoji]]
Ye Rongyuan didn’t waste time replying and simply responded with "Okay." He then opened the two photos and handed the phone to little one beside him, "Ann, Grandpa Ou specially took these two photos to show you."
Qin Sui’an took her uncle’s phone with both hands and looked down at the screen, her eyes lighting up, "Grandpa Ou is so good at drinking milk!"
"Yes, he really likes the gift you gave him. He went to the dairy farm early in the morning." Ye Rongyuan smiled when he saw her smile.
"That’s great~" Qin Sui’an giggled happily. Knowing her gift was appreciated made her feel very content.
Ye Rongyuan’s phone vibrated again a few times, and it was indeed messages from Ou Yangfu. However, Qin Sui’an didn’t understand the characters she knew, so she didn’t understand what he had sent. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
Ye Rongyuan bent down, still letting little one hold the phone, while he checked the messages himself.
After reading them, his brows furrowed, "Is he pushing his luck?"
Ye Liyuan noticed his expression wasn’t right and asked, "What’s wrong?"
"Ou Yangfu says his dad wants to be Ann’s godfather and acknowledge Ann as his goddaughter," Ye Rongyuan clearly didn’t quite agree.
Old Mrs. Ye and Old Mr. Ye glanced at each other simultaneously, understanding each other’s surprise.
Ye Liyuan raised an eyebrow slightly and then calmly analyzed, "The Ou family has always produced sons. It’s no wonder Old Mr. Ou, after seeing Ann, wants to acknowledge her as his goddaughter."
