Chapter 274: Going to the Art Exhibition

To Qin Sui’an, as long as she was with her family, she was happy to go anywhere. The little one nestled into her grandmother’s embrace, her small face happily rubbing against her. "Ann can go anywhere~"

"Ann, don’t try to save money for grandma. Grandma has plenty of money," Old Mrs. Qin said with a smile, her heart filled with her granddaughter’s sweet little voice.

Qin Sui’an lifted her small face earnestly, "Grandma, Ann has money too!"

She hadn’t spent any of the money she had won from competitions, nor the money her brothers and uncles had given her. Although she didn’t know exactly how much she had, she knew she had money too. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Old Mrs. Qin gently ruffled her little head, "Then let grandma think about where to take Ann to play."

When Qin Haochen came downstairs, the little one was playing a second game of chess with her grandfather. This time, there was no bet. The grandfather and granddaughter were simply practicing their chess skills, with the little one occasionally teaching her grandfather how to lose a little slower.

Qin Sui’an was the first to hear footsteps and immediately looked towards the living room door. A few seconds later, she saw her handsome father walk in.

She immediately stretched out her little hands towards him, "Daddy~"

"Ann." Qin Haochen quickly approached, bending down to pick up the little one from the sofa.

Old Mrs. Qin moved aside to make room for him on the sofa and asked, "All done with work?"

"Yes, all done." Qin Haochen nodded lightly and then looked at the little one in his arms, his expression full of tenderness. "Ann, are you sleepy?"

"Not sleepy yet~" Qin Sui’an earnestly shook her little head, her big round eyes looking at her father as she asked in a sweet voice, "Daddy, are you sleepy?"

"I’m not sleepy either, just like Ann." Qin Haochen smiled and kissed her on the forehead.

Seeing that his granddaughter was now focused on her father, Old Mr. Qin stopped playing chess. He noticed He Yan just coming downstairs and asked, "Was there something tricky? You and Assistant He were upstairs for quite a while."

"Not really tricky." It was just that it concerned the little one, so Qin Haochen tended to spend more time on it.

Thinking of this, Qin Haochen gently held the little one in his arms and softly asked her, "Ann, do you remember the artist who wanted to meet you?"

After the Ye family had informed him about it, Qin Haochen had also told the little one’s grandparents. Now that there was a result, he wanted to discuss it while the elders were present.

Qin Sui’an blinked her round eyes and quickly remembered, "Yes, it’s Mr. Zhu Xiulin~ the very good artist~"

"Ann is so smart." Qin Haochen smiled and continued, "This teacher is having an art exhibition in A City recently. Shall we go see his exhibition tomorrow?"

The little one had never been to an art exhibition before. She vaguely understood that it was related to painting, so she quickly nodded and agreed, "Okay~"

"Great, then daddy will arrange it." Qin Haochen took out his phone and sent a message to He Yan.

Old Mrs. Qin and Old Mr. Qin exchanged a glance. Then she looked at her son, Qin Haochen, "Why the sudden decision to see this teacher’s exhibition?"

Qin Haochen explained, "Mr. Zhu Xiulin is looking to take on a student. He wants to take Ann as a disciple. I thought Ann is still young and hasn’t had much exposure to painting. We should take her to see Mr. Zhu Xiulin’s exhibition first."

As for whether they would meet Mr. Zhu Xiulin afterward or let the little one become his disciple, they would decide based on her interest in painting and her liking for his works after the exhibition.

This was a well-thought-out plan by Qin Haochen. Old Mr. Qin couldn’t find fault with it and looked at him approvingly, "Good, that’s a wise decision."

Looking at her son’s face, Old Mrs. Qin had another concern, "Haochen, Mr. Zhu Xiulin might recognize you."

Although Qin Haochen usually kept a low profile and mostly appeared in financial newspapers, he still couldn’t escape being recognized as the president of Qin Corporation.

Qin Haochen wasn’t worried about being recognized himself; he only cared about any trouble it might bring to the little one. He furrowed his brows, "Mom, what do you suggest?"

"How about this: since your father lost the bet to me and I haven’t decided where to take Ann yet—"

Old Mrs. Qin glanced at her husband and then slightly bent down to look at her granddaughter, "Ann, how about grandma takes you to the art exhibition tomorrow?"

Hearing the adults’ conversation, the little one showed a serious expression. Her clear, glass-like eyes looked at her father holding her.

Qin Haochen ruffled her little head, giving her an encouraging look, "Ann decides, daddy is okay with anything."

Qin Sui’an turned to her grandmother and, after a moment, nodded her little head, "Okay~ Ann will go to the art exhibition with grandma~"

"Good girl, it’s decided then." Old Mrs. Qin happily pinched her soft little cheek and said to her son, "I’ll take Ann. It’ll be a fun outing."

Qin Haochen nodded, "Alright, then you go tomorrow. I won’t go."

If Old Mr. Qin hadn’t lost the bet, he would have wanted to go too. Now he could only sigh with regret and remind, "Little Jin, be careful."

"I’ll bring a few more bodyguards." Old Mrs. Qin wouldn’t take any risks. Without sufficient security, she wouldn’t take her granddaughter out.

Zhu Xiulin’s art exhibition was held in a bustling part of A City, with timed slots for visitors and even a limit on the number of attendees. Considering the little one’s rest, Old Mrs. Qin chose the afternoon slot so the little one could have her nap before heading out.

The dark green Rolls-Royce left Bay Villa, watched by her grandfather, father, and six brothers.

Old Mrs. Qin looked back at the line of people standing at the castle gate and couldn’t help but chuckle, "Ann, look at them. They’re all eager to go to the exhibition with us."

Qin Sui’an turned her little head to look back, her round eyes curved into crescent moons. "Grandma, is the art exhibition fun? Why does everyone want to come with us?"

"An art exhibition is just about looking at and buying paintings." Old Mrs. Qin tapped her little nose with her finger, "They just want to be with Ann."

Qin Sui’an smiled, her cheeks flushing with shy red, "Grandma won, so it’s just grandma taking Ann out to play~"

"That’s right, so they can only watch us leave." Old Mrs. Qin’s smile deepened.
