Hearing classmates of Ann talk about the birthday party, the other children in the kindergarten looked eagerly at her. They were too shy to ask for an invitation, but their expressions revealed their true thoughts. Qin Sui’an initially thought the other kids were just envious of the toy she was playing with. After handing it over, she noticed they still looked at her with pleading eyes.
Not understanding their intentions, she used her Mind-Reading Skill and realized that everyone wanted to attend her birthday party. As soon as school was out, Qin Sui’an discussed it with her dad. When Qin Haochen learned of the situation, he didn’t rush to give her invitations but instead asked seriously, "Ann, are they nice to you?"
Being so young and kind-hearted, Qin Haochen didn’t want anyone to take advantage of her kindness and force her to do things she didn’t want. For instance, the kids wanting to attend her birthday party. More guests wouldn’t be a problem for Qin Haochen; Bay Villa could accommodate them.
With a confused expression, Qin Sui’an blinked her bright eyes. "Daddy, if they aren’t nice to Ann, do we not give them invitations?"
Qin Haochen hugged little one tightly, patiently using himself as an example. "Ann, if it were me, I wouldn’t like others demanding things from me, nor would I want those who are mean to suddenly be nice because of their interests."
Qin Sui’an listened intently, nodding as if she understood. She didn’t hide her thoughts, saying, "Daddy, the kids didn’t ask Ann for invitations. Ann heard their thoughts; they are nice to Ann."
Though they weren’t in the same class, the kindergarten had outdoor activities where everyone played together. Qin Sui’an was innocent but not foolish, especially with her Mind-Reading Skill; she knew very well who truly cared for her.
Qin Haochen gently stroked her little head. "So, Ann, do you want to invite them to your birthday party?"
He handed the choice to her.
Qin Sui’an pursed her lips, her little face serious. After thinking for a moment, she said, "Ann wants to; everyone can play together, lots and lots of people!"
This response was expected, so Qin Haochen wasn’t surprised. He leaned down and kissed the top of her head. "Okay, then Daddy will arrange it. You can invite as many as you want."
"Mm-hmm!"
Once the matter was settled, Qin Sui’an visibly relaxed, her round eyes sparkling. "Daddy, Ann is so excited! It’s Ann’s first birthday!"
Qin Haochen smiled gently. "There will be a second, a third, and many more." He would also make up for the birthdays little one missed in the first three years.
Until the day before the birthday, Qin Sui’an’s little backpack was filled with invitations, which she handed out one by one. In the days leading up to Ann’s birthday, Old Mrs and Mr Ye frequently visited Bay Villa, working with Old Mr. and Mrs. Qin to oversee every detail of the main venue, fearing any oversight.
Since receiving little Ann’s birthday invitation, the big white goose became busy as well, working hard to absorb more spiritual energy to prepare a birthday gift for her while keeping an eye on the venue alongside the two old couples.
As a goose, it was already plump and round, but compared to humans, it was still quite small and adept at spotting little issues. Old Mr. Qin noticed the big white goose suddenly darting toward a particular spot, immediately instructing the bodyguards to have paper and pen ready to hand to it. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
They weren’t Ann who could understand the goose’s honks, so they could only communicate this way.
