Meng Youning pressed her chest hard, and her originally pretty face turned red.
She swallowed involuntarily, looking extremely uncomfortable.
After a long while, Meng Youning's expression finally relaxed a lot, and her coughing gradually subsided.
She leaned slightly to the side, and the tip of her nose happened to touch Qi Ran's cheek.
Feeling a strange sensation, Qi Ran subconsciously took a step back and touched the tip of his nose somewhat unnaturally.
If you look closely, you can vaguely see that the tips of his ears are slightly red.
He half-clenched his fist, brought it to his lips, coughed lightly, and said calmly, "Since... since you're fine now, I'll go first."
After he finished speaking, without waiting for Meng Youning to reply, he raised his foot and walked to the side on his own.
He quickly jumped onto the bed, grabbed the quilt beside him, and covered himself tightly with it.
The series of movements is exceptionally smooth.
His face was pressed tightly against the bed, and for a moment his ears were filled with dull sounds.
The feeling of that moment kept coming to his mind.
He bit his lip tightly, his right hand unconsciously touched the right side of his cheek, and his eyes deepened.
At that moment just now, he seemed to have been acupunctured and could not move at all.
This feeling seemed pretty good, and he didn't resist it.
Meng Youning, who witnessed all this, had a complicated expression on his face. After a moment of silence, he couldn't help but ask, "Prince, don't you need to take off your boots before sleeping?"
Qi Ran, who was laughing foolishly in the quilt, suddenly froze. He threw the quilt aside and shouted at Meng Youning without turning his head, "This prince likes it this way. Do you have any objection?"
Meng Youning was speechless, "No."
Immediately, she watched Qi Ran quietly take off his boots.
Meng Youning tilted her head slightly. What's going on with this person?
She shook her head, didn't think about it any further, turned around and lay down on the couch.
Although in front of Qi Ran and other outsiders, she pretended most of the time.
But there was indeed a vague discomfort in my throat, as if there was some foreign object in my throat that couldn't go up or down.
She closed her eyes slightly, folded her hands together, and placed them beside her ears.
After an unknown amount of time, Meng Youning fell into a deep sleep, and two even breathing sounds were heard in the room.
In an instant, the candlelight in the room flickered and a breeze blew in silently.
Qi Ran, who was lying on the side couch, couldn't help but frown and subconsciously buried his head in the quilt again.
His lips moved slightly, and he felt as if he was deeply immersed in a strange feeling.
"Xiao Ran'er, have you taken good care of yourself while I'm away?"
A slightly ethereal voice sounded.
Qi Ran's face was obviously startled. He looked up and saw that everything within his reach was covered with white mist.
The sound came from the white fog.
He could vaguely see a figure in the white mist.
Judging from its appearance, it vaguely resembles the figure of a woman.
But the woman had her back to him, so he couldn't see her clearly.
There was a voice in his heart telling him that this was a dream!
Qi Ran slightly turned his body and walked forward with bated breath.
However, he took a step forward, and the person in front seemed to follow him forward.
No matter how long he walked, the distance between him and the white mist would never change.
Suddenly, he seemed to realize something and said abruptly, "Sister Ling, is that you? Sister Ling?"
After realizing this, Qi Ran became visibly excited.
He ran forward tirelessly, shouting all the time.
Suddenly, the white fog around dissipated, and the figure in front became clearer and clearer.
Qi Ran paused and spoke again cautiously, "Sister Ling, I miss you so much, and I regret it so much. If I had been smarter at that time, you wouldn't have been tortured to death by those people."
He stretched out his hand slightly, his voice choked, "You...you still hate me, so I didn't even find your body."
He said a lot in one breath, but there was no response from the front.
Qi Ran just kept talking to himself.
After an unknown amount of time, the figure finally spoke, "Don't be sad, everything is fate. You must treat her well from now on."
Qi Ran exclaimed, looking confused.
At the same time, the white mist in the sky reappeared and gradually turned into black mist.
All the black fog slowly gathered together, and several thunderclaps burst out in the air, scaring Qi Ran so much that he couldn't help but shiver all over.
The thunder dissipated, and the front was boundless. The strong white light made Qi Ran a little dazzled.
Qi Ran suddenly said, "Sister Ling, you haven't explained clearly yet. What exactly did you mean by what you just said? Who do you want me to be nice to?"
Qi Ran looked anxious and wanted to move forward.
Suddenly, the figure in front turned around abruptly.
Qi Ran took a closer look, and his pupils suddenly widened. "Why is it you?"
Meng Youning muttered softly, and just as she turned around, she heard a very penetrating voice ringing in her ears.
As if realizing something was wrong, Meng Youning suddenly opened his eyes.
What a coincidence, my eyes met Qi Ran's dark pupils.
Almost subconsciously, Meng Youning kicked Qi Ran sideways, hitting him in the waist and knocking him down.
Meng Youning sat up suddenly, grabbed the quilt beside him, held it tightly in his hand, and stared at Qi Ran under the bed with a vigilant look on his face.
Qi Ran cried out in pain, covering his waist with one hand and supporting himself on the ground with the other as he slowly stood up.
