Chapter 18 Shura Field
When Zhu Fan arrived near the auditorium, a large number of people had already poured into it.
Those who came to watch the spectacle, those who joined in the fun, caused such a commotion wherever they went that it gave Zhu Fan a headache.
She adjusted her black baseball cap. "Mowan, could you give me a face mask? Thanks."
Meng Mowan took out a disposable mask from her canvas bag.
Zhu Fan exclaimed, "Your bag is like Doraemon's pocket."
Not only hats, but also face masks.
Meng Mowan waved her hand shyly, "It's too hot. My skin is very sensitive, and it gets red and peels if I'm in the sun for too long."
Zhu Fan put on his mask properly, "I'll return your new mask after this is over."
"Senior, you don't need to return the new ones to me. I still have two in my bag."
Meng Mowan smiled and said, "Senior, you're still easy to recognize even with a hat and mask on."
Her figure, demeanor, and clothing are too eye-catching.
Among the students, Zhu Fan, even with a hat and mask on, still couldn't help but attract attention.
Zhu Fan fell into thought, and finally his gaze fell on the black-rimmed glasses on Meng Mowan's nose.
"Can I borrow your glasses too?"
Meng Mowan rubbed her eyes. "Senior, my world is blurry as soon as I take off my glasses."
Zhu Fan gazed at the girl's small yet exquisitely full features, her eyes meeting the girl's beautiful almond-shaped eyes.
Those eyes looked into Zhu Fan's heart; even when they weren't smiling, they had a slight curve, like eyes that could smile.
She couldn't help but compliment, "You look so beautiful without your glasses."
Meng Mowan's face instantly turned bright red.
Few people praise her.
I felt a little embarrassed, but also a little happy.
Zhu Fan felt extremely dizzy after putting on the glasses, and it took him a while to adjust.
"Mowan, head up and chest out, let's go in."
Everything was already prepared in the auditorium.
"Yazhi, did you get through to Zhu Fan on the phone?"
Ming Yazhi looked up from her phone. "Afan will be here soon. Let's not rush her."
A girl wearing black denim shorts and a gray tank top walked straight towards Ming Yazhi, grabbed her arm, and pulled her behind the scenes.
"Was that latest trending post something you and Rong Lewei hired someone to post?"
Ming Yazhi put her index finger to her lips and said, "Shh."
"Yi Jia, this has nothing to do with you, don't get involved."
Yi Jia sneered, "Zhu Fan treats you like a best friend, but you treat her like an idiot."
Ming Yazhi clicked her tongue, "You two have already fallen out, why are you coming to me now to stand up for her?"
"You helped arrange the flowers this morning, and you seemed to enjoy it."
Yi Jia's face turned cold.
Ming Yazhi came to ask for her help under Zhu Fan's name, and even though she and Zhu Fan were still at odds, she still came.
Zhu Fan was unaware that Ming Yazhi and she were now separated by only a curtain.
The big screen is now on, displaying a line of bold, stylized artistic text: Let's witness a grand confession together!
The people working on the stage have gradually left.
Seeing someone operating a computer, I assumed the confession was about to begin.
Before Ming Yazhi, the planner of this confession, could even speak, they spontaneously stepped aside to await instructions.
Zhu Fan disconnected the computer from the screen.
She opened a new document and typed a line of text with lightning speed.
"Senior, let's unplug the USB drive first."
"All the portrait sketches you drew are on this USB drive."
Meng Mowan skillfully unplugged the USB drive and saw Zhu Fan highlighting a line of text in the document in red and bold: "Senior, I'll use a program to create a beautiful background for you."
Zhu Fan, unable to refuse, gave the computer to Meng Mowan.
"Fang Qibai is here."
The sudden silence in the auditorium made Zhu Fan raise his head.
The large screen emitted a blue light, making Zhu Fan's face, who was wearing a hat and mask, appear somewhat unreal.
Even so, she was still recognized.
"Ahhhh, the goddess is already standing on the stage."
Hearing the noise outside, Ming Yazhi stopped arguing with Yi Jia.
Lifting the curtain, she recognized Zhu Fan on the stage at a glance.
Fang Qibai put one hand in his pocket and stopped at the entrance of the auditorium, no longer moving forward.
Ming Yazhi smiled triumphantly.
The main characters have arrived; the show is about to begin.
She made a gesture towards the audience.
"Together."
"Together."
"Together."
The shouts and cheers brought this carefully planned confession to a climax.
Zhu Fan looked at Fang Qibai from a distance.
Their eyes met, and the man's gaze was distant and indifferent.
There were no surprises, only awkwardness.
Zhu Fan paused for half a second when she saw Fang Qizhou walking in lazily behind Fang Qibai, her hands having just removed her glasses and hat.
Wen Yuxing, who was following behind Fang Qizhou, had a face that looked like a spilled palette.
Zhu Fan is going to confess her feelings to Fang Qibai.
What was the meaning of that passionate kiss with Brother Zhou that morning?
And what's with that guy Zhou Ge, laughing so happily?
He was completely bewildered, looking at the robot behind him that was moving slowly. "Little robot, hurry up!"
The robot, about the height of a five or six-year-old child, deftly tosses a red apple. Unlike ordinary robots that are mechanically unsteady, its movements are so agile that it seems like a real person.
Fang Qizhou's arrival made the atmosphere in the auditorium tense and oppressive.
Zhu Fan picked up the microphone; there was no need for him to control the situation.
The audience spontaneously quieted down.
When Ming Yazhi saw that Fang Qizhou had also come to the auditorium, she couldn't suppress the smile on her lips.
What a chaotic scene!
Zhu Fan, you're in a difficult situation now.
Meng Mowan connected her computer to the large screen and gave Zhu Fan an OK sign.
Zhu Fan glanced sideways at the flowing Van Gogh Starry Night and the constantly changing particle effects on the back, then gave Meng Mowan a thumbs up.
Even from a distance, she could feel Fang Qizhou's gaze on her face.
With so many people around, her gaze involuntarily fell on Fang Qizhou.
Their eyes met, and for a moment, she felt as if she were being drawn into the man's dark gaze.
