Chapter 26 His Singing 2

Of course, Chris wouldn't fake accidentally killing Jora. That method was too clumsy and wouldn't fool Yarlen. What Chris wanted to do was use his SSS-level mental power to silently destroy Jora's brain, turning him into a complete idiot.

The next whip came with the sound of wind, but Qingyun gritted her teeth and didn't utter a sound, nor did she turn her head to dodge. She just looked at Chris defiantly.

He was now burning with rage, his eyes gleaming, but the edges of them were also wet with tears from the physical pain.

Despite being stared at so intently by those eyes, Chris remained completely unmoved. The curve of his lips did not change at all, and his hand holding the whip remained as steady as a mountain.

Another lash struck the boy's chest, the barbs tearing open his black shirt and revealing his pale skin, making the bloodstains on his body all the more shocking.

Qingyun remained silent, a trace of blood appearing on her tightly pursed lips, clearly indicating that she had accidentally bitten her lip while enduring the pain.

Chris glanced down at the blood-soaked boy, a hint of surprise flashing deep in his cold silver eyes. He was surprised that Jorah had managed to hold on this long; he had expected Jorah to cry and beg for mercy after the first lash.

After all, the Jorah he knew did not possess all the admirable qualities of resilience and strength.

Qingyun opened her eyes wide and glared back defiantly. Her eyes were extremely bright, as if an indomitable faith burned within them.

Chris raised an eyebrow almost imperceptibly.

Those eyes are very beautiful.

The boy raised his chin defiantly at him again, as if using his persistence to mock him, this "traitor" from the Federation.

But Chris was not careless. His mental energy was always ready to be unleashed. If the boy showed even the slightest weakness or evasion, he would not hesitate to release his destructive mental energy.

However, Qingyun's subsequent behavior surprised everyone. He did not beg for mercy with tears streaming down his face as the surrounding pirates and prisoners had expected, nor did he faint from exhaustion.

The boy seemed to be sustained by some extremely important belief, his gaze unwavering as he gritted his teeth and endured the whippings. Perhaps displeased with the flippant reaction of the others after he had made a sound last time, the boy remained completely silent throughout the subsequent interrogation.

That's such a pity.

Seeing such a cute and alluring body being torn apart before their eyes, everyone stared at the boy on the gallows with irresistible fascination.

The more resolute and unyielding he was, the more it fueled the vicious space pirates' desire to torture him. Each of them eagerly awaited the boy's opening of his mouth, his cries of pain, or even his pleas for mercy.

But their desires are destined to remain unfulfilled.

The space pirates were already short-handed, and with the Federation's artillery fire coming again, everyone in the interrogation room had no choice but to leave, and Qingyun finally had a chance to catch her breath.

Before leaving, Yabren instructed the space pirates beside him: "To treat our little darling with just a whip is far too perfunctory. Find something else for us tomorrow, like a mental shock device or something..."

Before leaving, Chris glanced back. The boy hung from the gallows, head bowed, his expression unreadable.

He wasn't using an ordinary whip; the moment it was swung, barbs would pop out and hook hard into the skin of the person being interrogated, followed by an electric shock that stimulated the nerves around the wound, making the person's senses more acute.

In short, this is not the kind of pain an ordinary Omega should be able to endure.

But Jorah's insistence was futile. This was only the first day of torture; the space pirates would soon inflict every cruel method upon the boy.

In Chris's view, an Omega from an art academy does not possess the qualities to withstand such torture.

The interrogation room door slowly closed in front of Qingyun, and the surrounding walls rose again, cutting off Qingyun's communication with the prisoners behind her. The interrogation room became pitch black; using darkness to torture prisoners was an old trick.

Qingyun's eyes gleamed in the darkness as he stared intently at the closed door.

He absolutely has to kill these people.

Looking down at his injuries, Qingyun painfully drew some energy from his soul to repair his body. He wasn't afraid of pain, but this body was far too weak; one wrong move and he could die. Qingyun had to be extremely careful.

Fortunately, his body, having been injured and repaired, would gradually become stronger; otherwise, he would have suffered a huge loss this time.

If the energy returned by this world after completing its mission does not satisfy Qingyun, he will not hesitate to crush this world!

A little while later, Chris, who had just left, suddenly reappeared in front of the interrogation room.

He opened a small, square window from the outside and looked inside; his good eyesight allowed him to see clearly even in the dark.

The boy was resting, his head bowed and his breathing regular, but his injuries were clearly causing him distress. Even in his sleep, he was in pain, occasionally letting out soft groans of discomfort.

It turns out, he wasn't immune to pain.

Chris, who was preparing to take advantage of the situation to make Qingyun stupid, suddenly hesitated. He frowned, closed the window, and turned to leave.

It's not too late to take action tomorrow. If Jorah gets into trouble tonight, it might arouse Boren's suspicion.

Chris walked silently, his right thumb lightly brushing against the second joint of his index finger, the spot where the boy had bitten.

Just a few hours later, the interrogation room was reopened.

Qingyun opened her eyes immediately, avoiding the embarrassment of being woken up by being splashed with water.
