Chapter 26 His Singing 2

Yabolen strode up and grabbed Qingyun by the neck, his tone ruthless: "Tell me, where is Ramir?"

He was clearly getting impatient. The gene chip remained unbroken, and the Federation's military strength was by no means weak. Moreover, the Federation was also secretly relocating its personnel. Once everyone was gone, his successfully developed gene weapon would be useless. How could Yabron not be anxious?

"Want to know where the Doctor is?" Qingyun scoffed. "Go ahead and beg me."

He raised his head, his small, well-behaved face filled with arrogance and pride, his disdainful gaze seemingly looking down on people into the dust.

"Slap!" Yabo Lun slapped Qingyun away, but his tone suddenly turned unusually gentle, "Baby, look what I brought you today?"

Several space pirates carried in a huge device, which was the mental deterrent device that Yabo Lun had mentioned before. Before the development of mental drugs, this device was indispensable for interrogating prisoners.

With the psychotropic drugs in hand, these instruments of torture were basically useless. It took Yabo Lun quite a bit of effort to find them, but once one leads to another, Qingyun's days won't be so easy from now on.

"I'll say it again, a mental shock device is not something a delicate little thing like you can withstand. You'll have a mental breakdown and might not even remember that you're a human being. Just tell me where Ramir is, and I'll let you go, okay?"

Yabo Lun gently stroked Qingyun's still smooth face, "Look how lovely you are, you shouldn't have to suffer like this. The Federation is doomed to lose, your persistence is meaningless."

These words seemed to trample on the sacred realm in the young man's heart, and Qingyun's voice turned cold in an instant: "The Federation will not be defeated."

“Even without Chris…” Qingyun glanced at Chris and said sarcastically, “The Federation will still win without that traitor Chris.”

Upon hearing the boy's powerful words, the federal soldier sitting slumped against the wall behind him slowly turned his dazed gaze toward him.

Yabren laughed as if he had heard something funny: "The Federation will fail, that's a fact, just like you can't withstand the mind-shock device."

After saying that, he looked at Chris with a cold gaze: "Chris, hurry up and install the mental shock device on your little fan. Be careful, just connect it to a wire, don't break him."

Without any hesitation, Chris ripped a wire from the mental shock device and connected it to the back of the boy's head.

His face remained expressionless, but his mind was slowly racing. The reason the mental deterrent device was replaced by the mental potion was because its power was too great and difficult to control. Even though it was only connected by a single wire, it was enough to give Jorah a significant deterrent effect.

Chris secured the wires, and his mental energy extended its tendrils, constantly hovering around Qingyun's head. If anything went wrong, he would immediately destroy the boy's brain.

He turned to turn on the mental shock device, and as Chris did so, all the prisoners behind Qingyun focused their attention on him.

They watched the boy, who had endured a full day of interrogation, and wondered how he would react under the influence of the mental shock device. Would he, like them, suffer a mental breakdown and uncontrollably reveal the secret, or would he bravely persevere?

Chris was also inwardly alarmed, and finally, he turned on the switch of the mental deterrent device.

With a "buzz," a visible shock enveloped Qingyun's head along the connecting thin lines.
