Chapter 9 There is a person in the mountains
"Who are you? If you break our door, you'll have to pay for it!"
Er Ya went to open the courtyard gate, and there was a fat woman inside.
"I'm not going to pay you anything! Where's that vixen of yours? Tell that vixen to come out here!"
The obese woman happened to see Ye Wan coming out of the house, and her face turned very ugly. "Well, you shameless vixen, you're the one who seduced my son-in-law!"

Daya came out of the kitchen and asked, "What happened?"

Ye Wan frowned as well, annoyed that someone would use such foul language to insult a child.
The obese woman was swept back, yelling, "You brat, who are you calling names? Believe me or not, I'll hit you! Your family has to give me an explanation today!"

As Ye Wan spoke, she glanced at the people staring at her curiously at the door, including Aunt Wang from yesterday. It was the perfect time to establish her persona.

Just then, Zhang Erniu's parents came running over, covered in sweat.

The obese woman was pulled away by Zhang Erniu's parents, and the few people who came to watch the commotion whispered among themselves.
Zhang Erniu looked at Ye Wan, opened his mouth as if to say something, but Er Ya slammed the courtyard gate shut.

After everyone left, Ye Wan turned her head and saw Lin Anyuan coming out of the house. Thinking of the loss she had suffered, her anger rose up early in the morning.
"Lin Anyuan, are you deaf or blind? Can't you hear the people outside bullying your daughter?"
Lin Anyuan glanced at Daya and said, "Why should I get involved if I can handle it myself? What if I'm not there? Are we just going to let others bully us?"
Da Ya lowered her head.
Ye Wan frowned, "What kind of talk is that? Isn't your daughter your own? They were pointing their fingers at you and saying such nasty things..."

Suddenly hearing a response, Ye Wan paused for a moment, then looked at Daya and Erya, "Are they really not your biological children?"
Yes, they don't look alike at all.
Lin Anyuan isn't very old, he looks to be at most twenty, how could he possibly have two daughters who are so big?

Ye Wan lowered her head and Sanya carefully took her hand. "Mother, please don't be angry, okay?"
Daya said, "Erya, take Sanya to the kitchen to eat sweet potatoes."
Er Ya glared at Ye Wan, then left with San Ya.
Daya glanced at Ye Wan, then lowered her head and said in a low voice, "Actually... neither Er Ya nor I are Father's biological children, as you probably guessed."
Ye Wan understood. Da Ya and Er Ya weren't her biological children; they must have been brought by her stepmother. No wonder her attitude was so bad.
"Yes, it really isn't easy."
Seeing that Ye Wan's expression was normal, Daya breathed a sigh of relief. "I have to go to work today, and Erya also has to go out to work. Please take care of Sanya."
She could tell that Ye Wan had no intention of running away, so she felt at ease handing Sanya over to Ye Wan, but she couldn't bring herself to call her "Mother".
Da Ya and Er Ya have both left, leaving only Ye Wan and San Ya at home.

Sanya's eyes narrowed into crescent moons as she held onto Ye Wan's hand tightly. "Mother, you're so kind. Let's go."
Ye Wanxin thought to herself that the little one was easy to coax, as long as there was milk... ah, pshaw, as long as there was food, that was her mother.
Ye Wan found some straw sandals for Sanya and wrapped her feet in rags before locking the door and carrying Sanya into the mountains.

"Mom, there's a rabbit!"
Ye Wan looked in the direction San Ya pointed and indeed there was a rabbit there.

The rabbits seemed to be under a spell, coming straight for the scent.
