Chu Ting x Shadow ②

Chu Ting x Shadow ②

He shuddered violently, almost dropping the book in his hand. He quickly grabbed the bookshelf next to him with his free hand to steady himself.

"What are you doing?" he asked in a low voice.

The shadow behind her pressed closer, its voice slurring, "Baby smells so good, you're so close to me, I can't resist."

"What do you mean it smells good? You don't have a sense of smell."

"Yes, I can't smell the baby's scent at all. It's so sad. Please have pity on me, baby."

Chu Ting couldn't help but groan as the pressure from the friction tightened her grip on the bookshelf.

A voice behind me grumbled with a hint of dissatisfaction: "Hold the baby book steady, it's swaying back and forth, I can't see it clearly."

Chu Ting was speechless for a moment, feeling both angry and embarrassed.

Chu Ting bit his lower lip and remained silent, which was taken as tacit agreement. But this "sudden" sound seemed to have no end. After he finally finished reading a page, the noise behind him not only did not stop, but intensified.

"I've finished reading it," Chu Ting reminded him curtly.

"Let's look at one more page," Shadow pleaded. "This one is really interesting, baby."

Chu Ting was almost laughing in exasperation. Just as he was about to retort, he caught a glimpse of a shop assistant looking over from the corner of his eye. His heart tightened, and he abruptly stood up straight, closed the comic book, and headed towards the cashier.

The shadow behind her hurriedly followed, asking with a pitiful expression, "Why did you leave so suddenly? We haven't finished watching yet."

Chu Ting didn't turn around, only saying, "If you don't leave, I'll capture you and give you to the Taoist priests as snacks."
