Chapter 57 Birthday Party Magic Glitter Egg...

Chapter 57 Birthday Party Magic Glitter Egg...

Tim slowly walked into the room. The room, shrouded in colorful and dazzling light, and the smiles on the faces of the crowd, all hinted at something. However, he did not deliberately make a scene; in fact, he secretly cooperated. Bruce stood in front of Tim.

“Happy birthday, Tim.” Bruce actually had a lot to say, but most of the time he would struggle with how to put it more appropriately. But now it was easier to say these words than to beat up the Riddler. Well, anything else would do, it was all the same, wasn’t it? “I’m so glad you’re my Robin. You’ve always done a great job, really.”

He reached out and gently hugged Tim. He seemed a little stunned by Bruce's words, then reached out and hugged Bruce back. A loud noise exploded above his head, blocking out the words Tim was about to say (①). The magical colored glitter, along with orange-segment glitter, colorful strips of paper, and small pieces of paper of various shapes, fell down. A sticker that looked like a little duck stuck to his hair.

He clearly saw the many words on the piece of paper, so clear and adorable. Only one was written by Damian: "Happy Birthday, Magical Little Dog, Love You!" Good, he knew it was Stella.

There were also Dick, Barbara, Jason, Alfred, Bruce, Cassandra, and Enid; they all wrote about them because their personalities seemed so strong that it was impossible not to recognize them.

“Tim, I noticed you were a little shy just now!” Enid sat down at the table next to Dick, laughing as she leaned on his shoulder. Dick steadied Enid to keep her from falling over. “Maybe we should give Tim some face, or he might take back your qualification.”

“Yes, that’s right.” Tim pretended to be serious, but couldn’t help laughing out loud when he saw Bruce’s glittery head. Well, it wasn’t just him; everyone was laughing, including Bruce himself. Bruce said in a slightly joking tone, “I guess I should be the most dazzling one right now, right? Hmm, Fia, are you sure this Easter egg is for the birthday person?”

"Hmm... I'm sure, but it seems there's been a slight mishap."

Her deliberately hesitant tone added a bit of spice to the laughter. Tim casually snapped a picture of Bruce's current appearance. Bruce put his arm around Tim and took a picture with him. Both of them had sparkling magic glitter on their heads, making them stand out even more.

"Great, the birthday boy's appearance has been captured on camera. Shall we proceed with the next step?"

Bruce raised his camera and spoke to everyone. The others were stunned for a moment, but Enid was the first to react. She grabbed Dick and ran over, while Barbara pulled Jason along. Together with the others, they gathered in the center. Enid had a mischievous idea. The magical glitter continued to float in the air. She pressed the timer button on Alfred's camera and quickly walked to his position.

After a quick click, everyone covered in glitter was frozen in the photo.

"So now, can this sticker be removed, Fia?"

Tim stared at the duck sticker above his head, then looked at Enid. Enid glanced at the sticker and silently shook her head. "Hmm, not yet! The magic won't disappear until after 12 o'clock."

“Very good, Madam Enid, the Godmother of Magic.”

In fact, Enid is not someone who likes pranks. However, after getting to know everyone better and unintentionally getting involved in the brotherly war between Damian, Tim, and Jason, Enid suddenly realized this ability. But she doesn't actually hate it because everyone's pranks are expressions of affection, not true trolling.

"Then even the Magic Godmother can't give the gift first! Hehe, I'm last. His Highness King Bruce will give the gift first."

At a previous comic convention, Bruce cosplayed as the King, and Enid continued to call him that. Bruce, of course, did not object to his daughter's harmless little joke, and instead obediently took out his gift. It was a very smooth process, and everyone's gifts were unique.

However, Tim was obviously most curious about what Enid would give him, but he didn't expect to receive a personal space. He had to admit, that was pretty cool, wasn't it?

"What a cool gift, thank you Fia."

"You're welcome. Do you like this surprise? I mean, the colorful ball."

Tim was about to say he liked it, but after a few seconds of pause, he smiled slightly and said, "I really like it because of the King's hug. Is the next activity the cake? There shouldn't be a cream fight this time." He only mentioned it briefly before immediately skipping over the topic.

"Don't worry, there isn't any this time." Barbara affirmed Tim's words, and then casually complained about the glitter in her hair, saying it was a little too shiny. "Isn't this enough? But this hair really matches your uniform, Dick, to be honest."

Barbara's gaze shifted to Dick's hair, and the others followed suit. The slight blue glitter stood out against his black hair, and to be honest, it did match his previous uniform quite well.

"I also think that uniform is perfect."

“No, that’s not what I meant…” Barbara paused for a moment, “Well, whatever makes you happy.”

Actually, she was a little worried that Enid would be corrupted by Dick's aesthetic sense, but it seemed pretty good now. Well, at least she didn't agree. Enid gave her a reassuring look, and she immediately nodded in understanding.

"Actually, it can be washed off, since we have to patrol tonight, right? It's a real shame we won't be able to see it tomorrow."

"I wouldn't mind if you decorated it separately for me tomorrow."

Stephanie readily agreed. Actually, she didn't dislike the glitter; she had an event during the day anyway, and it would make her look cuter, wouldn't it? Barbara noticed and raised her hand somewhat helplessly, "Okay, me too."

"Hmm...maybe I can too." Cassandra didn't seem to mind the glitter, and Enid was somewhat tempted. "Then we can go together as sisters tomorrow, that would be great!"

“Very well, since it’s a sister’s activity, then there’s no need to bring us.” Tim seized on the loophole in Enid’s words and quickly extricated himself, with Damian following suit. “This glitter… is so un-Wayne-like, I refuse.” He originally wanted to say stupid, but changed his mind halfway through.

"Masters, young masters, and young ladies, shall the birthday person light the candles this time?"

Enid watched a lot of videos and prepared a number candle with Tim's birthday written on it, which matched the cake quite well. It had some delicate carvings on it, and if you looked closely, you could see animalized versions of each person's image. It was clear that Enid made it herself, rather than using a mold or magic.

“I bet Tim is more interested in collecting them than lighting candles right now, isn’t he?” Dick’s first thought upon seeing the candles was also to collect them; they were simply too exquisite, with lifelike patterns. It was clear that Enid had spent some time secretly enjoying them.

"I don't deny it."

As soon as he finished speaking, Tim saw the dust cover and base that Afu had prepared. It was clear that Afu had already guessed this scene. "Unfortunately, Miss Fia only made this pair this time."

"Yes, but I don't mind collecting it. I made it a little higher so that the carved parts at the bottom won't melt away."

She was also worried about this, so she made it a bit taller during production. It was actually Afu who suggested this. Enid showed Afu her design drafts, and Afu said at the time, "Miss Fia's carefully prepared candles don't look like they'll burn on the cake."

"It's actually cuter to keep it than to burn it."

“Very well, I’m starting to get jealous of Tim now.” Stephanie feigned regret, and Tim readily hid the candle. “Obviously, this is mine.”

After the playful tussle, the candle was lit. Tim's wish seemed to be expressed clearly and quickly, so it was blown out in an instant. The carving was perfectly preserved. The candle was then carefully placed on the base and covered with a dust cover. He would prepare some reinforcement work later, because it was a candle and needed to be carefully preserved permanently.

This candle would also be a wonderful gift.

Of course, the cake was the same. Although there were many different kinds of patterns on the cake, they were all placed appropriately and were quite interesting.

"Look! I've found it! Here!"

Enid had hidden a bat symbol in the corner of the cake, on a small leaf. Everyone gathered around when they heard what Enid said, even Bruce was curious, and he swore he hadn't drawn it.

“Was it drawn by the old man?” Jason raised an eyebrow and bet. Dick stroked his chin. “I don’t think it was Bruce.”

Hearing them start guessing, Bruce composed himself and hid his thoughts. He actually knew who it was, but he decided to play along. Amid the others' chatter, Tim spoke up decisively, looking at Alfred with great pride and confidence.

"Is Afu's drawing correct?"

"Congratulations, young master Tim, you got it all right."

Since there was some cream left over, which was just enough to draw a bat logo, Afu casually drew it in the corner. Isn't it a perfect bat logo? Bruce agreed; Afu's bat logo was perfect.

"It's obvious that I drew it here."

Bruce didn't draw it; he drew it on another leaf, not much bigger than Alfred's. So, right after Bruce finished speaking, Barbara also teased him with a smile, because she noticed that Nightwing's icon was also on the leaf. Well, actually, everyone else had it too, including her.

"So, Dick, did you learn your habits from Bruce?"

"Of course, I also helped Tim with the drawing."

Everyone fell silent upon hearing this, because everyone had drawn something, so how many icons were hidden in the corner? It was impossible to count them all now. However, the cake tasted good. It was just that the part that Bruce drew was secretly copied by Tim in the name of being the birthday boy.

At this moment, he is being strongly condemned by others.
