Chapter 17: Each Has His Own Path

"I don't even know your mother, how could she let you spread gossip?" Jiang Cha was also puzzled. What was going on if he didn't know them?

"Who's her mother? Is she from our factory?" the factory manager shouted from the sidelines. These people were giving him trouble day after day. What had the little girl done to offend anyone by coming to work? They were just looking for trouble.

"Chunhua's mother is a temporary cleaner. Someone has already gone to call her." Someone who was watching the fun nearby replied to the factory director.

"Director, are you looking for me?" After a while, an old lady came in. She must be Chunhua's mother. She had wrinkles on her face, triangular eyes, and was not tall.

"I'm asking you, why are you looking for Jiang Cha? Don't look at Qin Chunhua, she said it was you who ordered it." The factory director asked her directly with a stern face.

"I, I, hey, I'm thinking of finding a partner for Xiao Jiang, but I'm afraid she won't agree..." The old lady slapped her thigh, looking like she was doing something good for Jiang Cha.

She was disgusted. "I don't even know you, why should I ask you to introduce me to someone? Besides, are you really introducing me to someone? Why do I feel like you have a grudge against me?"

When the old lady saw so many people, she sat down on the ground and slapped her thigh, "You little bitch, I told you you are not a good person.

"Look at the way you spend money so lavishly, you're obviously a spendthrift. If it weren't for the fact that you bought a house, I'd look down on you no matter how high or low you are."

Before she could finish, Jiang Cha slapped her in the face. She was so old, yet she was still talking dirty. She asked, "Who is a bitch? She was being targeted for no reason. She kept calling her a spendthrift."

The old lady was not happy with this and jumped up to scratch Jiang Cha. Jiang Cha kicked her and Qin Chunhua rushed over and tried to pull her hair.

She turned around and let Qin Chunhua miss. The old lady rushed over with her head down and hit her chest directly. The pain made Jiang Cha's eyes go black. He twisted the old lady's arm and dislocated her arm. (Dislocating the arm means dislocating the arm)

Qin Chunhua didn't run away, and she pressed her arms to the ground. She ignored the two people sitting on the ground and yelled, looking at the stunned factory director, and asked him to find someone to call Sister Wang and Chen Zhaodi.

If she doesn't make things clear today, anyone will dare to plot against her in the future. Sister Wang came over with a wry smile, "Xiao Jiang, I really didn't know they were plotting against you. I just chatted for a few minutes while eating, and look what happened."

Chen Zhaodi, who had just arrived, also quickly said, "Xiao Jiang, I don't know anything. I just heard Chunhua say that you wanted to build a kang, and I wanted to introduce you to someone who could do the work."

He kicked the old lady and asked, "How do you know I'm rich? Who told you about the house?" The old lady sat on the ground in pain and didn't dare to curse anymore.

"I saw you treat Daku to a meal and buy all those old things the other day. You must be rich. My sister cleans the subway, and I saw you when I was covering for her. You take the subway to and from work every day, and you all live in detached houses wherever you get off the train.

I thought that if you became my daughter-in-law, then both the house and the money would belong to my family. If you were a family member of a martyr and your reputation was gone, this matter would definitely be accomplished.”

Jiang Cha felt a chill run down her spine. If she hadn't taken it seriously this time and let gossip spread, she'd have to tell everyone next time about her relationship with the man who shared the kang with her. In the end, for the sake of her reputation, she had no choice but to marry the old lady's son.

The old lady was quite good at this, combining public opinion with psychological warfare! Fortunately, she managed to get over the commotion herself. This incident also served as a reminder for her to be more careful when she goes out.

Cats have their ways, mice have their ways, everyone has their ways! Making a fortune that wiped out the entire family is a sign of great lack of virtue. The people watching the excitement were furious. It was so wicked that the whole family plotted against the little girl alone. Fortunately, this girl was not easy to mess with.

The factory manager had the logistics department deduct three months' salary from the two women and gave them a serious warning. The old woman wanted to say something, but the factory manager simply said, "If you like it, keep working. If you don't like it, get out."

She brought ginger tea back to his office and said, "All kinds of people are involved in this matter. Don't be angry." He poured her a glass of water and let her calm down for a while.

"I thought it was another one. I was so scared when I went there," the factory director said, terrified. Jiang Cha thought to herself that she didn't have the face to ask the factory director to mediate. She had thought it was another spy.

The factory director had a meeting to attend, so she left first and saw Uncle Lu outside the small white building. "I told them to stay put. It would be bad for your reputation if we came out. Seeing the factory director protecting you, why did you go and find out who his son is?"

These guys are planning to put him in a sack tonight." She thought, "Thank goodness they really care about her. If they didn't care, the whole factory would probably be filled with gossip about them tomorrow."

She was exhausted after the day. After saying goodbye to Uncle Lu and returning to the office, Sister Wang, who was known for her loudmouthed behavior, glanced at her. Section Chief Shao told Jiang Cha that Sister Wang had been docked two months' salary for her bad reputation and gossip, and was being given a warning.

There were only two or three people at work, and after this incident, no one spoke to her. Frustrated, angry, and scared, she didn't do anything, so she just gave up thinking about it? She's only 16, she's worse than an animal.

After finally getting off work, Xiaotong was waiting for her at the gate. "Why are you here?" she asked. "Did someone tell me you were set up? Let my uncle, the commune secretary over there, vent your anger."

After saying that, he ran away quickly, "I'll ask someone to take my place for ten minutes. We'll talk after I leave." The little fat man ran quite fast.

Today, when she got off the subway, she didn't rush to leave. She looked around at the people around her, wondering which one was the old lady's sister. On the way home, she also paid attention to everyone, to see where they were going, their general direction, and what buildings were there.

After returning home, she walked around inside and outside to see if anyone had come in. She had never noticed anyone before, and maybe there were eyes watching her.

I wasn't in the mood to finish my meal, so I sat in my rocking chair, lost in thought. Suddenly, I heard a knock on the door. It was almost dark, and I had no idea who it was. With the electric baton in hand, I slowly walked over. The knocking continued. Jiang Cha asked who it was. No one answered, and the knocking continued.
